Maybe 30 years ago it was a great hotel at the highest standards of its time. But as of today, and compared to other Western Hotels, this is maximum 1 or 2 stars. The room did not have modern furniture and was not very pleasant. Nevertheless: breakfast was very good and the soviet art gallery on the walls was very authentic and beautiful to see.

Convenient location near the train station and the center, near the park, through which you can walk to Fomina Street, and there you can reach the Brest fortress. Good breakfasts, although the assortment is small, but everything is there, and vegetables, and drinks, and hot dishes (porridge, scrambled eggs, casserole, nuggets, sausages, etc.). The room is clean, cozy, good mattresses on the beds, shower and plumbing in good condition. We had a room on the 3rd floor with a view of the park and the overpass (double standard), we were satisfied with absolutely everything. There is a place in the lobby below where you can leave your things for a while after departure, if it's still a long time before the train or plane.

I lived in a standard single room on the second floor. The TV, table, chair, wardrobe and refrigerator were in the room. The location of the hotel is excellent, easy to reach from any part of the city. Departure to Minsk is also convenient. Breakfast is a buffet. The choice of dishes is sufficient and varied. Breakfast was held in a bright and beautiful restaurant hall. The room is clean. The corridors are beautifully decorated. The room in which Vysotsky stayed was opposite. A hotel with a history, I liked it.

The hotel is located in the city center, convenient location, attractions nearby, restaurants, cafes, shops are all within walking distance. A 3* hotel, but this is not an indicator! As in Europe, by all standards, a solid 4⭐️ somewhere it could be 5! Very tasty breakfasts! The room stock is different, you can find decent rooms, everything is clean, the rooms are cleaned for 5+. The hotel has a Vysotsky Museum. I recommend the hotel, cozy, sincere, courteous staff 🌸

A normal hotel. We stopped by as a group. The three of us got a triple room, a family room, so to speak. Two rooms. First room: there is a locker, a pull-out sofa, a TV, a table. There is a folding chair. The refrigerator is in the cabinet under the TV. 2 upholstered chairs. Air conditioning, which is a plus. The second room is a double bedroom. The windows overlooked the road (the beginning of the bridge). In general, everything is fine. Of the cons. There is no kettle in the room. I took it downstairs at the reception. There is no water cooler on the floor or in the hotel at all. I took off the star. The restaurant is open until 11, so music will interfere with those who go to bed early. They added bottles of gel when cleaning, but they didn't leave a roll of paper for the stock. I had to go down and beg downstairs. The center is not far away.

I stayed at the hotel from April 18-22, 2026, good location, near the railway station, if anyone came by train, also the bus station, this is for those who want to travel to Belovezhskaya Pushcha on their own, which is very convenient. You only need to buy tickets in advance via the Internet there and back, focus on 8:30 in Belovezhskaya Pushcha, at 11:00 a guided tour bus starts there, a sightseeing tour ends in 2.5 hours, you will leave back at 14:10, if you want, you can later, but buses do not run often. The hotel itself is quite decent, the breakfasts are simple, but I have no frills, by the way, do not run around the numerous cafes, I did not like it, the portions are small, too expensive, but lunch at the Bug restaurant for lunch for 375russian rubles - rich borscht , mashed potatoes with a cutlet, cold lemon juice is the most delicious thing. audibility is nothing and I didn't hear anyone) the only thing is that there is no cooler, so you can't drink tea or coffee in the evening, maybe they will, customers write in reviews, but for some reason there is no reaction, I definitely recommend it.

We have never paid attention to this place, perceiving it as a hotel from the past. After all, it looks no different from the administrative buildings of the Stalin era, but recently they celebrated their birthday in the banquet hall. The opinion has completely changed! Pleasant atmosphere and many stylish attributes, visually everything is combined and creates a pleasant atmosphere. Very decent cuisine!!! Friendly and courteous staff, and all together creates some kind of special vibe. This place has a story!

Breakfast is the usual format. The room is large and spacious. There is no pretension. The chef tried to make the menu as excellent as possible. To be more precise, for an ordinary person, it's just space! (I was very surprised by the tuna cooking, I recommend it!) P.S. If you can stop by while he's in the kitchen. Chefs of this level work in the capital's gourmet restaurants! Restaurant service - students (don't judge strictly. They try)

The hotel is located close to the railway station and the center, but the windows of your room can overlook the highway with round-the-clock traffic and the restaurant, where both evenings that we rested there was a banquet with noise and music. It was not possible to have dinner at the restaurant due to the reservation of events. We regretted that we did not bring a kettle with us, because there is no cooler, there is no one in the restaurant, in general, you should know that there is a struggle for a dead person at the reception. The rooms are very small, there is soap, shower gel and shampoo. The iron is on the floor. There is a book of reviews and wishes, but the management read it for the last time more than seven months ago, so our requests remain ours. I do not recommend the hotel because of the unwillingness of the staff to help, even if you make a request in advance. We won't come here anymore.

We were in Brest for 3 days - we came to see the city and Belovezhskaya Pushcha. We spent two nights at this hotel. Everything was fine - close to the railway station, clean. The single rooms on the second floor are standard - everything worked, the bed was normal, linen was white, clean. The breakfasts are standard, but I was surprised that there was no cottage cheese. A good price tag is relatively inexpensive. I recommend the hotel

I recommend it, it's a great hotel, there is a Vysotsky museum, the owner of the hotel collects dolls, the collection can be viewed in the corridors of the hotel, the food is very tasty, thanks to the waiters, they are polite, they will tell you correctly. Borscht with salsa is simply too much to swallow. The location of the hotel is also great, within walking distance of the central street and near the Brest fortress

Lived in the summer of 2025. The room is a family room. Please note that not all rooms have air conditioning. Although the room prices are decent. The family room is large enough. There is a kettle, water, refrigerator. The bed linen is clean. The windows of this room face the street, it is quite noisy when the window is open. Upon arrival, I found that there was no air conditioning. It's hot outside. I'm calling the administrator. They tell me: And there you have an outdoor air conditioner, pour water into it. Wow, I have to pour some water. This miracle air conditioner works noisily and inefficiently. Then I ask where the child should sleep. They tell me: You have a sofa there, you will make the bed linen. Again, I have to make it up myself. Or maybe I should get a salary for the hotel staff? The breakfasts and lunches are not very tasty. But the food in the restaurant is delicious. It's like different chefs. There is a parking lot, not large, not guarded. The hotel has an elevator.

An excellent hotel in terms of location and interior, inside it is like a museum, in your free time you can walk around the floors and see the interior and photos of celebrities. There are no kettles in the rooms, they are provided on request. The breakfasts are modest, the variety is average, but the products are of high quality (remember that this is Belarus: here cheeses are cheeses, not colored vegetable fat, and fruit juices and drinks are fruit and drinks, not colored sugar water). The hotel has an elevator on the side of the building. About accessibility for wheelchairs: the entrance is almost level with the ground, but perhaps the door will seem tight and you will need to hold it. The two-room double room is considered disabled: wide doors, handrails in the toilet, two large beds, and is located on the ground floor. There is a passage with steps between the hotel and the restaurant, but for wheelchair users there is a second passage through a special one.The hall must be notified at the reception and it will be opened.

I liked the hotel! It is located near the railway and car stations, it does not interfere with sleep. 👌The central street is about 15 minutes away by comfortable walking. 👍🏻The rooms are clean, cozy, there is everything you need. If necessary, you can take a kettle at the reception.👍🏻 I took a room with breakfast, the coffee is a little "lame", but everyone has their own taste. the breakfasts were delicious and varied, oatmeal, different types of scrambled eggs, there were pastries and fruits, well, in general, a classic European breakfast. Special thanks to the staff! We had an early check-out, and they packed breakfast for us, put almost everything in the box that was on the buffet at breakfast. The emotions are only positive! I will recommend this hotel to my friends.

I was a guest of this hotel in July 2025. I would like to immediately note the beautiful appearance of the building in which the hotel is located. The lobby also leaves a good impression: columns, armchairs, a wide staircase. The spirit of history is immediately felt. And not for nothing. The hotel was visited by many famous personalities, as evidenced by the plaques next to the central staircase. In addition, showcases with dolls in national clothes are installed as a decoration, which brings beauty to the interior. There is also an elevator on the 1st floor, which is quite modern and fast. The room is small but cozy. Sockets are provided in sufficient quantity. The plumbing is good. Keep in mind that an electric kettle is provided at the reception upon request. The only thing I would like to mention is the lack of air conditioning. In hot summer weather, its absence can be a problem. The breakfasts at the hotel are delicious and satisfying. The staff is polite. The location of the building is good: near the railway station. From the hotel you can walk to the beautiful Brest city center. But there are also public transport stops nearby. In general, only the best memories and impressions remain from the Bug Hotel! 💐

We stayed for two nights. On the good side: convenient location, affordable price, there was a small refrigerator in the room, hygiene products, towels, a new elevator, repairs to the reception area and corridors are normal. On the downsides: very good audibility, the disco in the restaurant was bothering me, the mattresses were too soft, there was green mold in the bathroom in the shower cabin, and the room was decorated in a Soviet style. We lived in a two-room room: in the first entrance room there are two single beds, in the second room there is one double bed. There is no balcony. Breakfast buffet: the choice of dishes is very modest, the breakfast is the same two days in a row: omelette, scrambled eggs, sausages, porridge, fruit and vegetables, cheese, sausage, yoghurts. Good coffee machine, makes cocoa. We are generally satisfied.

The Bug Hotel is located in the center of Brest (Belarus), on Lenin Street, near the railway station, bus station and the main tourist attractions of Brest (Museum of Brest History, Museum of "Saved Art Treasures", Museum of Local Lore, Lenin Street, Sovetskaya Street, Forged lanterns, Winter Garden and others). The hotel occupies a building of interesting architecture, built in 1958. The hotel is clean, cozy, the restaurant is on the ground floor. The breakfasts, in my opinion, are good and delicious. The staff is attentive. The room has individual hygiene items, new bed linen, comfortable bed, clean cleaning. I really liked the design of the hotel: paintings (whole exhibitions) on the walls, an exhibition of author's dolls in the windows, photographs of famous guests who have visited the Bug Hotel since its foundation. I would especially like to mention the magnificent and touching museum of V.S. Vysotsky, which I have repeatedly visited at the hotel. If I come to Brest again, I will choose the Bug Hotel. The perfect location of the hotel! Nearby, 700 meters across the bridge, the train station is 12-13 minutes away. There's a bus station right there. Brest Fortress is 2.1 km from the hotel. Walk along Lenin Street to Gogol Street, past the stadium and the museum building directly to the fortress. Perfect! Even children can easily get there. The famous Sovetskaya Street is also located next to the hotel. Everything is in 7-10 minutes. The hotel has a Bug restaurant. Swedish breakfasts. There is half board. We had a family suite. He's at 5x. We were given a cot. Everything is normal. We were a family of 5 people. The sofa doesn't fit a person's height, so we were given a cot. In general, all problems can be solved. There were no global problems. There is a museum in the hotel.Vysotsky!

Convenient location, cleanliness, and completely unreasonable room rates. We had an improved standard with a queen size bed. I'm attaching a photo. As you can see in the real world, the room is different from the one presented by the hotel. The rooms are tired (the toilet is leaking, the top watering can in the shower is not working, the toilet paper holder falls to the floor when touched). The maids put gel and shampoo on just one when they checked in for two days. There is only one bottle of drinking water in the room for two people and a small one for two days (there is no cooler on the floor, as well as a kettle in the room) We paid 18,000 (Russian rubles) for two people with breakfast (buffet) Number 401. Weekdays. As well as a separate breakfast of 25 Belarusian rubles.

The hotel is good. There are some minor disadvantages, but I am ready to recommend this hotel anyway. The breakfasts are excellent. Hearty, varied: porridge, casserole, sausages, fried eggs, omelette, pancakes. Delicious coffee. The dishes are cleaned quickly, there were always tables available. The rooms are not very well cleaned. Hair on the floor, mold in the shower. Not all rooms have mosquito nets. If you are given a room near the stairs, then be prepared for noise at night and early in the morning from other hotel guests who return to the room or go to breakfast. But it no longer depends on the hotel, but on people who do not respect each other. I would also like to mention the work of the restaurant. The chefs cook very well, but the restaurant is often closed for banquets and does not accept orders. It is also open in the evenings until 21:00-21:30. And if you arrived later, there's nowhere to eat nearby. Everything is already closed. The hotel is conveniently located, and any attractions can be reached on foot. Brest Fortress is about 25 minutes away on foot. The central Lenin Square is 5 minutes away. It's 10 minutes to Sovetskaya Street. Near the Park of culture and recreation. The staff is polite and friendly.

The hotel is located right next to the train station. The interior is like a merchant's house, and it even has its own charm. Among the advantages: a snow-white bed, cleanliness in the room, there are soap accessories (although quite modest, only soap and shampoo conditioner), the breakfast is varied and delicious. Cons: the room is super stuffy, the open window does not solve this problem much. Upon check-in on Friday (at 14:00), the laundry service was refused, as it is open only on weekdays and until 17:30 with the words: Well, no one is going to do it today. Total: the hotel is good for a couple of days, you can walk to the center in 10-15 minutes slowly, the breakfasts are decent, the rooms are clean. But there are nuances.

A wonderful hotel. I was very surprised when I saw a lot of portraits of celebrities who were vacationing in this hotel. Including Vysotsky. There's a room where he stayed, and it's been turned into a museum. The only thing that needs to be added is a kettle in each room. Or a cooler in the right and left parts of the wing on each floor. The rooms are small but clean. The breakfast buffet is European-style, there is enough food and it is not bad. An excellent coffee machine makes delicious cappuccino and latte. Of the disadvantages, the administrator may not be at the reception, there is no information on how to connect to the Internet in the room. I had to go down to the administrator again and only then was I given the password to the Wi-Fi. There are even watermelons and tangerines on the menu. I visited from the belly. All the sights are within walking distance. The hotel itself resembles a small museum inside. There are paintings and photos of famous guests on the walls, among them is the pilot Alexei Meresyev, whose book has been a great support to me during a difficult time. When I come back to Brest, I'll stay here.

Review of the Bug Hotel , Where is it located? The heart of the city with perfect transport accessibility! The hotel is located at Lenin St., 2. It is the main pedestrian artery of Brest, which means walking distance to all key attractions: on foot to the Brest Fortress, museums, shops and restaurants. The ideal starting point for any route. ⚡ Concept and atmosphere: ✔ Format:A classic urban hotel offering guests reliable comfort and maximum convenience of location. This is not a boutique hotel, but a time-tested option for those who appreciate practicality and central location. ✔ Atmosphere:Calm, businesslike, a bit retrospective. The spirit of Soviet hospitality reigns here, combined with modern standards of service. The lobby has a quiet, measured atmosphere. ✔ Design:Functional and conservative. The interiors are designed in a strict, solid style. The emphasis is on order and cleanliness. The rooms have been renovated and have everything you need for a short stay. ✔ The audience:Tourists who want to be in the center of events, business travelers who come for work, as well as couples and families who want to have the whole city at hand. , Visit features: The main trump card is the location:The windows overlook the central street of the city. In the evening, you can enjoy a walk through the beautifully lit pedestrian zone right on the hotel's doorstep. Thoughtful service:They will always help you at the reception, tell you the route, and call a taxi. There is a luggage storage room, which is very convenient for guests with early check-in or late check-out. A substantial breakfast:The hotel offers a buffet breakfast with a good selection of dishes, from classic porridges and omelets to pastries and cold appetizers. A great start for a new day of travel. The silence inside:Despite the central location, the rooms are quite quiet due to good sound insulation. Windows to the courtyard guarantee an absolutely restful sleep. Undeniable advantages: ✔ The best location in the city for hiking. All the most interesting things are within walking distance. ✔ Free on-site parking for guests (a huge plus for the center!). ✔ Clean, well-maintained rooms with everything you need: air conditioning, TV, private bathroom. ✔ Friendly and helpful staff. ✔ Excellent value for money, considering the location and the service offered. What you should pay attention to: The view from the windows onto busy Lenin Street can be a bit noisy for very sensitive sleepers (ask for a room in the courtyard). The design and furniture in the rooms are simple, without frills and design solutions. Connoisseurs of boutique hotels may find it austere. Bathrooms may have a slight hint of antiquity, although they are kept perfectly clean. 💯 Summary: The Bug Hotel is a proven, reliable and most convenient choice for a trip to Brest. It's not about luxury and glamour, but about comfort, the perfect location and confidence in the future. You pay for the opportunity to be in the very center of events and have everything at hand. Rating: 8/10 The Council:Book a room in advance, especially for weekends and holidays — due to the convenient location, the hotel is in high demand. Be sure to specify the type of room (facing the street or courtyard) when booking, depending on your preferences for the view and silence. P.S. Ideal for tourists, business trips and anyone who wants to save time on transport and live in the epicenter of urban life. It is easy to start any trip around the city and region from here.

The hotel is not bad, but it won't hurt to upgrade. Wooden parquet floors could be a plus, but the problem is that they creak. And in such a way that even if someone is walking down the corridor, the sound reverberates in your room. High overall audibility fits the same pattern, but this is a common problem for all hotels. Another problem is that there is no cooler on the floor, it is only available in the restaurant on the 1st floor. Therefore, if you are settled, for example, on the third floor, then you don't particularly run for water. For those who plan to travel outside the city, like me, I would like to mention the location - a stone's throw from the train and bus stations. The main urban tourist locations are also nearby. We were also pleased with the buffet breakfast in the hotel restaurant. Maybe not super diverse, but getting enough calories for most of the day is enough.

We stayed in a family comfort room. Everything is fine, the room is clean, there is everything you need: slippers, shower gel, shampoo, air conditioning in the room, a kitchenette with a kettle, cutlery, a small refrigerator, a microwave oven. Breakfast is included, buffet style. There is a spacious bathroom with a large bathtub, a shower stall, and a bidet. Towels and bathrobes are also provided. The windows faced the road, but there was no noise, which was a big plus. Close to the street. Sovetskaya and other attractions.

We stayed at the hotel for 1 night. We arrived at 3:30 p.m. The room was not ready yet. While we went for a walk, they cleaned up)) after cleaning, we removed other people's hair from all the beds)) but they didn't focus on it, thinking that they would have become very strong, that the hair was already flying))we had a family suite. This is the most terrible room we've ever had while traveling in Belarus. There were 5 of us. 2 adults and 3 children ( 7,12,15). Everything is awry in the suite. There's a sofa here. You sit down, and the TV is exactly behind the columns, and it's not clear why it was hung there. Tea, no coffee. They gave me 2 small bottles of water for 5), 2 dressing gowns, and everything was shabby. But most importantly, the road could be heard all night and it was insanely cold. We didn't get enough sleep, and we were cold. The breakfasts are standard according to the coupon)) my husband worked in the morning and came for breakfast not at 8 as we did, but at 8.30. The restaurant was filled with people from the tour and empty tables with food (did not have time. I gave three stars to respect the old building, which has seen many celebrities)) maybe the rooms are much better, of course. I don't know. But we didn't like it. I don't recommend it. We won't stop there anymore.
