The climb to the 124th floor costs $ 55 + you need to stand in line for tickets and then queue for the elevator, then there's more fun. It is more profitable to take it with a sightseeing tour, it is a little cheaper and you do not need to stand in line for tickets (that's what we did). The elevator is very fast, everything inside is made of monitors, the feeling that it is transparent is interesting.
There are always a lot of people on the observation deck, but you can take pictures without people, everyone is friendly and polite, there is a souvenir shop on this floor (Prices are not affordable), several interactive binoculars (free of charge).
If you get into the half-hour interval when the fountains are turned on (every 30 minutes from 18:00 to 23:30), you will see them from a bird's eye view, it is spectacular.

And at night you will see the beautiful lights of Dubai almost from the height of an airplane flight. By the way, Burj Khalifa is clearly visible from the plane when you land. And from the outside it is very cool during the day, there is a feeling as if it is not real, as if it is on a green background, simple skyscrapers have such a feeling just a little bit, but Burja Khalifa seems to be really not real, it is fascinating))) and at night you can see a beautiful overflow of different colors on it, but it is not constant, somewhere after 19:00 they turn it on or after 20:00, and so it seems to shine all night, this also has its own charm)
The only downsides, be prepared:
It's not 5 minutes to go up, there are queues, in general, about 40 minutes for exactly everything about everything
There are a lot of ill-mannered people who want to take a picture of themselves, and their whole family of 10 people, a place for photos will really have to wait
It takes longer to go down than to go up! But there are two descents, you need to ask the guard where the second one is, since it is not so noticeable, there is a smaller elevator, but believe me, you will go down there faster, since the queue at the other is huge
