Это не просто здание. Это вертикальный город, застывший в своём бесконечном взлёте. Акт первый. Цифры, от которых кружится голова. 828 метров, друг мой. Сто шестьдесят три этажа . Вы только вдумайтесь: её шпиль возвышается почти на 200 метров над ближайшим конкурентом . Когда стоишь у подножия и задираешь голову — шея затекает, а глаза отказываются верить. Небоскрёб уходит в облака так, что кажется — вот-вот проткнёт небесную твердь. Строили её четыре года — с 2004 по 2009 . Открыли 4 января 2010 года, и за торжественной церемонией наблюдало около двух миллиардов человек по всему миру . Стоила эта фантазия полтора миллиарда долларов . Но, поверьте, оно того стоило. Акт второй. Секрет, который знают немногие. А теперь — факт для настоящих ценителей, друг мой. Вы знали, что Бурдж-Халифу строили корейцы? Именно так. Компания Samsung C&T Corporation была генеральным подрядчиком этого исполина — в партнёрстве с бельгийской Besix и арабской Arabtec . Та самая Samsung, что делает ваши телефоны и телевизоры, когда-то решила, что ей мало мира гаджетов — и построила самый высокий рукотворный объект на планете. Представьте себе, друг мой. Инженеры Samsung и Besix первыми в истории научились закачивать бетон на высоту более 600 метров без расслоения . Когда солнце пекло так, что воздух нагревался до 45 градусов, они работали ночью, используя специальные смеси, которые не схватывались по три часа . И они строили по два этажа в неделю . Это не строительство — это одержимость. Акт третий. Вечер. Особенно вечером. Особенно в Новый год. Днём Бурдж-Халифа величественна. Но вечером она становится магией. С закатом включается подсветка, и башня начинает светиться, переливаться, дышать. Тысячи огней бегут по её шпилю, как звёздный дождь, застывший в движении. Фейерверки взрываются в небе хореографическими вспышками, гигантские LED-панели на фасаде рисуют картины, дроны выстраиваются в трёхмерные фигуры под музыку . Дубайский фонтан у подножия танцует в такт . Толпа замирает. Даже те, кто привык к роскоши и чудесам, открывают рты и забывают закрыть. Ежегодно это шоу транслируют на весь мир. И каждый год оно заставляет миллионы людей сказать: «Я хочу это увидеть своими глазами» . Эпилог. Вердикт джентльмена. Бурдж-Халифа — это не просто точка на карте. Это символ. Символ того, на что способен человек, когда у него есть деньги, дерзость и инженерный гений корейских строителей. Мы стояли внизу, задрав головы, и молчали. Потому что слов не было. А если бы и были — их заглушил бы восторг. Красивое. Очень красивое. Особенно вечером. Особенно в Новый год. Честь имею. И, как говорится, — Samsung сделала это.

Really beautiful and interesting place to visit. Before trip, I pointed this sight in my note. The tallest tower with modern and futuristic decorations took my breath. +near is "Dubai mall" If u want to go shopping, u'll like the variety of different products from famous brands Yup, I liked it.

Impressive building and the whole area, but the tour “at the top” was a bit disappointing and not worth the hype and money. Also quite challenging to navigate through the area during busy hours and god forbid there are any reconstructions on the way.

Even if you bought the tickets beforehand (by the exact time) you need to stay 2-5 hours live line to enter! And,of course, you have no option to return you money) It absolutely didn't cost my time and money :(

We took a tour of this building. It was informative enough. There is a gift shop on one of the floors. They have a great timeline with some info on how the building came together. It’s pretty f*** awesome how those guys managed to build it in the middle of a desert with all the tough weather conditions under the extreme heat. Definitely a must-see attraction!
