It's an amazing place. We came in for a coffee by accident. Incomparable baklava, juicy on the bottom, crispy on top. The freshest. Before coming here, I didn't like the egg boat, but then my taste buds said, "Oh, yes!" It is rare to find something that is prepared immediately before serving. Great dough and lots of cheese and egg toppings. Surprised! Pleasant oriental music, courteous staff, picturesque place. On the downside: paper cups were served for tea. I recommend it!

We were at the Chegem cafe opposite the Abkhazia Hotel in Sukhumi. We ordered tea in a teapot and a dish "kebab with pilaf for three" - I may not be exact in the name. The dish included : lula , kebab vegetables, vegetable salad, chicken wings and legs, lavash (flatbread). The only edible thing was the cradle, the wings were 6 pieces (the middle) sooo dry, instead of chicken legs there were 6 pieces of chicken shoulder. - this is the upper part of the chicken wing - also sooo overdone. The vegetable salad was presented in the form of two piles of chopped red cabbage , in half with carrots grated on an ordinary Coarse grater ..... Instead of pilaf , there are two piles of plain pilaf rice . Kebab vegetables - 4 bitter peppers with charred sides and 4 tomatoes with charred sides - we prefer not charred but grilled ( maybe this is for an amateur ? ) . The serving of this dish was very beautiful - there were two races for this and the third for hot tea . You can 't serve this kind of food in a cafe , and you can 't serve it outside a cafe either . Of course, we were very surprised, we had heard a lot about the delicious cuisine in Abkhaz cafes, but not all cafes are delicious. Cafe "Chegem" (or is it a restaurant) is not recommended! Yes, all this "gastronomic displeasure" was priced at 2500r.
