The place which was the first to be recommended when we came to Phuket. It is very loyal to Russian visitors, where they can find delicious Thai food as well as Russian cuisine and sushi. My family has different tastes and everyone could find everything to their likings. The atmosphere is very cosy, service is timely and well trained. We were coming to this place several times during our stay at Karon beach. Thank you!

The Chekhov restaurant on Karon Beach was a pleasant discovery for us. If you are looking for a place where delicious food is combined with exceptional service and a comfortable atmosphere, you are definitely here. From the very beginning, we were captivated by the staff. They are very attentive, friendly and smiling guys. As soon as we sat down, we were immediately complimented by the establishment — a fresh fruit plate with watermelon, dragonfruit and melon. It's such a small thing, but it immediately creates a feeling of care and cordiality. The menu is very diverse: there are dishes of Russian cuisine for those who miss their usual tastes, and a lot of Thai classics. We tried both — everything was fresh, fragrant and cooked perfectly. Not a single disappointment! A separate plus is the thoughtful organization of the space. You can sit outside, enjoying the evening atmosphere, or in an air-conditioned room. And here's what's important: the air conditioner here doesn't blow icy air, but creates a comfortable, soft coolness. It's nice to sit, and there's no feeling that you're going to catch a cold going from heat to cold. And finally, for Russian tourists, it's just a salvation — here you can safely pay with a Russian card. Everything goes smoothly. We definitely recommend it! We will definitely come again.

We walked through the local market and saw this restaurant. The waiter offered a menu in Russian, described the dishes, and offered two types of business lunch (salad, hot or soup and dessert for 500 baht, or salad and hot or soup for 400 baht). We took tom yam, tuna salad and ice cream from a business lunch, separately salmon steak and beer from Long Island special (3 at the price of 2 for 400 baht). We spent the whole vacation at this wonderful place, sometimes 2 times a day. There is a large assortment of Russian / European food, but at the same time there are many Thai dishes, it is very convenient - you can feed your child with the usual food, and at the same time try the Thai menu! My daughter loved the broth and potato patty very much, and I liked all the Thai dishes that I took here, and they also have a delicious charlotte! The staff are great fellows, they run, fuss, almost all the tables are constantly occupied, while the service is fast and tidy, the waiters are always friendly. We were at the Chekhov cafe on 12.09.25, ordered 2 tom yams, one with chicken and one with seafood, one rice for two servings, as there is too much of it, and two small beers. The soup was excellent, hot, hearty and very tasty, the portion was decent. They brought beer from the fridge, with lime slices on the bottles, nice. And the cook was complimented with a couple of pieces of watermelon, papaya and dragon fruit on a plate. Another big plus: you can pay in rubles via WhatsApp, when you haven't brought enough $, you won't stay hungry. I recommend it!!!

We had dinner with my family at the Chekhov restaurant on June 8th. The prices are adequate, compared to the restaurants nearby. The menu includes Russian and Thai cuisine. Moreover, it's Thai, which seems to be adapted to Russian visitors. We ordered roast beef. The meat was good, soft. Boiled potatoes, vegetables, and some baked together. The spring rolls are delicious. Chicken with rice is also a Thai type, but without dressing with specific sauces and without pepper. Pork skewer on a skewer is quite tasty, fresh vegetables and baked zucchini, pepper, tomato, onion, you can even say a dietary dish rather. The meat is tender. The menu includes Russian dishes such as pies, oliviers, pancakes, herring, sauerkraut, borscht and other dishes. I really liked the interior, there are also good tables and chairs outside. Compared to other Thai cafes, it's just like our usual restaurant. Thai cafes, of course, in this sense, strain the appearance and fear of cleanliness. Chekhov was pleased in this sense, everything is new and the management is like in Russian restaurants. For people who are tired of Thai cuisine, the restaurant will be a salvation.

It's a great place. We visited together with my wife in the evening. There was a full boarding, but we boarded without waiting in line. Hotel respect for the fast service at full boarding, the first dish arrived after 8 minutes, the second hot after 12.
