A beautiful park, a magnificent palace, taking you back to the era of the magnificent century. The audio guide in Russian helped to immerse yourself in the material. It's a pity that you can't take pictures inside the palace. But I think there are a lot of professional photos on the Internet.

The ecstatic delight of visiting this place. The beautiful architecture of the 19th century, the splendor of the interiors and the grace of the parks ... you can spend several hours there, admiring the views from both inside and outside. And if you can take pictures from the outside, then inside, unfortunately, this option does not work. Be sure to bring audio guides with you, since they are included in the ticket price. Finally, do not forget to visit the art gallery, where many masters who painted for the Sultan, including Aivazovsky, are represented.

We didn't get to the weekend, we went in the middle of the week. And they didn't lose. There were many times fewer people. It was possible to take a quiet walk in the park, visit all the exhibitions. We took an audio guide. Free of charge according to the documents. I really liked it. Nicely

If you are in Istanbul, then be sure to visit this place! A palace of extraordinary decoration! This is one of the places that you will remember forever! Such a luxury of global importance! I got something similar, perhaps, in the Yusupov Palace!!! What an incredible luxury it is! Several tons of gold and silver were spent on recreating the decoration of the interiors of this palace!

Oh, beauty!!! Expensive rich carpets, wonderful furniture with inlaid and luxurious upholstery, priceless vases and statuettes. Personal belongings, ornate weapons, jewelry (ah, delight to the eye, glitter!). There is something to look at. Well, the apotheosis of all luxury is a huge ceremonial hall and a monstrous crystal chandelier👀 jaw drops))) You can't forbid living beautifully!😏 And if you are very touched by one moment. In the Dolmabahce art gallery, the Turkish military first saluted in front of the portrait of Ataturk, and then he turned around with a marching step, his wife took his photo against the background of the portrait.

What an amazing palace it is! Even the palace of the Russian tsar is more modest. It's just a masterpiece. The audio guide tells an interesting story and is very convenient to use. A competent route. We visited this palace at the last stage of our stay in Istanbul and were pleasantly impressed by what we saw. Topkapi is worse preserved (but it is also older). If we had visited Dolmabahce first and then Topkapi, we could have imagined the luxury of the Sultans, but we looked at them in reverse order, so Topkapi was not impressed at all.

One of the most beautiful palaces I've ever seen. Both the exterior of the palace and the interior are impressive. Many exhibits from his time are in very good condition. It has a very beautiful view of the Bosphorus, and the view of the palace from the Bosphorus itself is quite picturesque.

The palace is definitely worth a visit!Unsurpassed Baroque and Rococo style on the shores of the Bosphorus...It's very beautiful! Nearby there is a cafe, a small garden, toilets.

Informative. Somewhere in the previous reviews, the audio guide was scolded - I disagree, there is still benefit from it, some interesting facts were remembered there, not only the enumeration of furniture items and carpet area. Moreover, they are issued free of charge on the security of a passport. I liked the painting museum, so we came for the Aivazovsky Hall. 🥰 A couple more artists seemed interesting, but in general, of course, a Muslim country is not strong in the traditions of painting, this is understandable. And there are no sculptures at all, except for a few animal statues in the garden. Of course, anyone who has been to the St. Petersburg royal palaces can hardly be surprised by the sultan's apartments, the garden is also more than modest when compared with Peterhof. But I'm still curious. And the reception hall is what was called "oriental luxury" all over the world.

I'm extremely disappointed, they say everywhere that you have to go and that as a tourist you pay triple the price, the difference is noticeable and in the end you don't get what you expected. The palace itself is nothing unusual, I was shocked by the dirt and dust, I didn't take care of the property so much, it's at least strange, all the objects and paintings, chandeliers, everything is terribly dusty, they haven't been cleaned there for a very long time and it's very unpleasant. And from the entrance, the Turks are shouting like crazy, no foto, everywhere in the world, even in temples, videos and photos are allowed, but they are forbidden, probably so as not to embarrass themselves that everything is in very bad condition. These screams and the warden are very annoying, it became unpleasant, and why are you going if you can't take pictures, I don't understand what the money is for. To understand, there is far from a masterpiece of architecture like in Russia in the royal chambers... In general, I'm disappointed, well, for the general outlook, no more.

We really liked it. The interior is European, but the painting is floral)) there is no reference to the Greek heroes for obvious reasons)) We arrived at 10 a.m., there was no queue at all. Everything is very clearly organized, the audio guide is free. We were a little confused when we left the main building without getting into the harem, but we followed the folk path and entered the harem without any problems. Rapture Park! I advise you)) beautiful views, and very good photos on the territory. Filming is prohibited in the palace)

One of the most beautiful places in Istanbul. It is better to visit in autumn or winter when there are few people. There is no air conditioning or ventilation in the palace itself. That's why it's very stuffy there in the summer and there are a lot of people. The beauty and luxury of Istanbul. 14 tons of gold were invested for the construction of the Palace in monetary terms. Definitely ready to visit.

The most gorgeous palace, I recommend you to visit, the beauty inside the palace is fascinating, but they are not allowed to take pictures, I do not know what is connected with it, but the guards are vigilant and make a remark... The palace itself is very huge, beautiful, lots of exhibits, completely immersed in that era.

1. Expensive, 1,500 lire per person; 2 It's really beautiful outside, especially the view of the Basfort through the gate; 3. You can't take pictures inside (they keep an eye on you) ; 4. The interior is modest except for the throne room, much is under renovation; 5. You need to walk in single file in a crowd along specially fenced routes inside the palace; 6. I liked Topkapi more.

The palace is of amazing beauty! The first time we were in June, we stood in a huge queue! The second time in early November, there was no queue, but we were not pleased with the prices, so we sent the children, because we were already there! I didn't like the service the second time, very rude security staff! There was a bottle of wine in the backpack, and instead of politely asking to take it out and leave it with them (temporarily), they tore out the backpack, opened it, took out the bottle and practically threw it! Fortunately, it didn't crash, we just kept silent and looked at it in disbelief-why behave like that?

The palace is unique in its richness of magnificent exhibits. A wonderful collection of dishes, exquisite interiors. Atatürk's study and bedroom, in which he died, are preserved in the palace. Of the disadvantages, it is impossible to walk at your own pace, the museum staff always ask you to go faster and not slow down. The entrance to the harem is separate. A magnificent park and a beautiful view of the Golden Horn Strait. You can take an audio guide in Russian. I highly recommend you to visit!

The palace impresses with the beauty of its architecture. A large well-maintained area with beautiful flower beds and trees. Located on the shore of the Bosphorus, you can take very beautiful photos against the background of the gate, to which ships with guests of the sultan or the Sultan himself docked in ancient times. The decoration of the palace is magnificent. It's a pity that photography is forbidden in the palace! By the way, when visiting the palace, audio guides are given out for free (there are in Russian!) - you will learn a lot of interesting facts.

Admission for a foreign tourist costs 1200 liras (combined ticket: palace, harem and art gallery). It is definitely a worthwhile place to visit, the palace is very beautiful, and the art gallery itself is already worth a visit, besides, the gallery has a hall with works by Aivazovsky. Restoration work is underway in some places, any shooting inside is prohibited, this is carefully monitored.

The historical building is a perfect masterpiece… The Bosphorus is in a zero location, the view is great, the interior and exterior architecture is magnificent, the garden is generally well maintained, some parts of the buildings need maintenance, the interior design of the buildings is full of decorations- chandeliers that clearly convey that it is a palace, there are countless rooms… It is possible to enter the clock tower and clock tower cafe located at the first entrance without a ticket, it can only be entered through security and seen, the cafe can be used. May May 2025; domestic full 200tl, student 100tl, foreign 2200tl-very expensive), entrance to the museum is free (the greeting section also requires a fee), direct entry is possible without stopping at the ticket office, those who do not have a museum card buy tickets from the box office (in May 2025, domestic full 200tl, student 100tl, foreigner 2200tl-very expensive) The museum of painting is full of masterpieces made centuries ago, thousands of masterpieces are exhibited very beautifully, it is a museum that should be reserved for at least half a day. Compared to the harem department painting museum, fewer products are exhibited, the room where Atatürk died is displayed in this building, and the palace splendor is clearly witnessed here. There are 4 adat cafes in the campus, each of them is beautiful, it was a very nice idea, the prices are at an average level. I think those who are going to visit Istanbul should definitely see

Of course, you will not surprise us, residents of St. Petersburg, with palaces, but, nevertheless, a visit to Dolmabahce made a very good impression. It was interesting to see the life of the Eastern nobility. The architectural forms and interior decoration, the style of which was imitated by many architects, creating Moorish rooms in our palaces, are unusual and attractive. What are the Sultan's hamams worth?,,, The expensive ticket includes a palace, an art gallery (with Aivazovsky collection), a harem and the entire territory of the court park with a magnificent view of the Bosphorus. The time and money spent on visiting it is not a pity at all.

So that's it)! If you have visited the Hermitage, the Louvre and similar places, then this attraction will not impress inside. The facade is beautiful. The garden is wonderful! Especially the swans inside, and there are a couple of the nicest atmospheric coffee shops nearby in the courtyard. If you decide to take a walk there, don't run!) Slow down. Find a photo point with a carved gate overlooking the Bosphorus. It is beautiful, as is the entire exterior of this building. What was not impressed was that the owner was apparently deceived) there are paintings on the ceilings for modeling ... of course this is a compromise in the global nature of construction, and nevertheless) perhaps you can have fun if there are not many people. Oh, yes, I personally didn't like the ticket price, especially if you come there with three children ... not loyal at all) Therefore, St. Petersburg forever

The more I looked at the main palace from the inside, the more I realized that it was not so grand and pompous compared to some Russian Empress. I think if the Turks had looked at Peterhof 200 years ago, they would have had to completely rebuild this palace))) But in general, of course, it's beautiful, this place is basic, for the first time, a starting point to explore Turkey.

The price is now 1050 liras for all adults, there are no queues, there are few people. The palace certainly impresses with its beauty, and it is not necessary to compare St. Petersburg and Istanbul, different cities, different cultures. The gate to the Bosphorus is a great feature, everyone is photographed 👍 Where the gallery is, you can come up for free and take pictures. The only drawback: the halls are not signed, or rather signed, but few places. I would like some plates with minimal information. We did not take the audio guide, but we noticed that there are very few points for the audio guide.

Dolmabahce is the Palace of the Sultans on the European side of the Bosphorus in Istanbul. The palace was built in 1842 for Sultan Majid I, who wanted to have a Baroque palace that would compete in beauty and sophistication with the European palaces of the XVIII century. It is divided into three main parts: the state premises, the sultan's harem, and the personal living area of the ruler and his family members. Since 1984, the palace has been a museum. We examined the interiors of the palace as part of the tour, it was very interesting.

When I entered Dolmabahce, I literally took my breath away from the luxury and scale of this place. Every detail — from the incredible crystal chandeliers to the finest ornaments on the walls — seemed to whisper about the greatness of the Ottoman Empire.
