We visited for the first time in the summer while in Vitebsk. On a whim we decided to see if they had an available room, which they did, and which we took. The room was clean, quiet and very contemporary. It overlooked a side street which we opened our window to when the temperature was warm. The staff was friendly and I'm sure we will return to stay again.

A good, quite cozy mini-hotel in the center of Vitebsk, almost on the banks of the Dvina River.
Interesting interior, with a focus on the history of the city, comfortable rooms (rested in a suite), pleasant and unobtrusive service.
The rooms are clean, you can see the concern for the condition of the hotel and the guests. Some household appliances are missing, such as an electric kettle and a microwave, which, however, are provided by the staff on request.
And, just when using the kettle, the only disadvantage of the hotel appeared: problems with electrical wiring. When the kettle was turned on, a power failure occurred within a few seconds, the room was de-energized (except for the kettle, at that moment the split was working, the refrigerator was charging the smartphone and laptop. The staff reacted quickly and turned the room back on.
A cursory analysis of the wiring (I am an energy engineer, so that there are no questions about competence) showed that the entire outlet load in a two-room suite hangs on a single cable, the second one, farthest from the input, part of which is also made on the basis of a PV insulated cable with a cross section of no more than 1.5 sq.mm. From here it became clear why when the load increased, a failure occurred. And why there was no kettle and microwave in the room initially). The staff is clearly aware of this "feature" of the room).
Summary: a nice cozy hotel in which it would be necessary to carry out minor repairs and redistribute the electrical load.

A very cozy, small hotel! Excellent location, close to the pedestrian zone, in the historical center, within walking distance from all attractions. There is an unusual interior inside, a lot of vintage items, photos. H lived in a single room. It is very small, but everything is there: a refrigerator, a half-liter bottle of water, slippers, soap and gel in the bathroom dispenser. Very hearty breakfasts, three options to choose from.

, it is comfortable until dawn - then the noise of crows, the curtains are transparent and the first rays of the sun do not let you sleep. The description of the hotel claims good sound insulation, but the cardboard door and creaky floors do not allow us to agree with this.

It is solid, cozy and interesting both in terms of location and interior. The domes of the temple are visible from the room window. Quiet street. Denis is a very friendly and friendly manager – thank you to him.

The very center of the city. On Sovetskaya Street. Near Suvorov Street. The streets are pedestrian, so you can hear the voices of people walking along the streets. There is no kettle in the room. There is no elevator in the hotel. There are canteens nearby. They didn't take breakfast. Parking is under the Windows, but we put the car away, as the sign was parking is prohibited. The staff is polite. In general, we were satisfied.

The impressions of the hotel are mixed. The advantages include a convenient location in the center of the Old Town, delicious breakfasts, courteous staff, and the presence of a sauna. The decoration of the hotel is retro (there are many antique household items on the stairwells, floors and rooms, it is not very clear what years, a kind of vinaigrette from different eras), which can be attributed to both the pros and cons. The idea itself is original, such a hotel definitely stands out from the rest. But the side effect is a noticeable smell of junk on the floor, which is not surprising, given the abundance of ancient things and the age of the building. The room also had a smell, but to a lesser extent, in addition, the room can still be ventilated. There is no elevator, of course, on foot to the 4th floor with suitcases. The room is spacious, but, in my opinion, uncomfortable and gloomy, although they tried to make it in the same old style. Translucent curtains on the windows, no thick curtains! Besides, it was cold at night, I slept under two blankets. Breakfast is not included in the room rate, a complex one costs 15 rubles. We took the menu, the price was about the same amount (I liked the breakfast). We were also unlucky, the hot water was turned off on the day of departure, but we were offered to use the shower in the sauna. To summarize: the hotel is suitable for those who like to take an excursion into the past, visiting their grandmother, or even great-grandmother, but at the price of a modern hotel)

We have a double impression of the hotel. On the one hand, Wow!!! The city center, the embankment, the views, the hotel is very interestingly decorated, original rooms, beautiful stairs, entrance...there are many things that attract the eye. Convenient location, parking was even found in the evening. But...))) there is always a but. We arrived late, it was a day to rummage through suitcases, and there were no disposable brushes in the room, there was no extractor hood in the toilet at all, the shower cabin was covered with a curtain, it didn't seem scary, but it constantly clung to the body while taking a shower, until you move it away and go out - there was a puddle on the floor. The bed seems to be interestingly made, but the mattress is such that if you go to bed alone, you roll down to it, and when you get up, you jump up) I don't know how in the season, but it was quiet under our windows, we slept well even with the windows open.

A very nice hotel, retro, with the atmosphere of the Soviet era, but without its disadvantages. Friendly staff, cleanliness. Nice rooms with everything you need. Simple, clean, cozy and wonderful, friendly staff. There are a lot of Soviet-era props in the halls and corridors. The bathroom is clean, everything is working properly. The breakfasts are delicious and hearty. Special thanks - they met us halfway and at an early check-out, when the restaurant was not yet open, they still cooked scrambled eggs and sandwiches, made coffee. Everything is nice and pleasant. Advantages of the hotel:

- parking near the hotel;

- interesting design of the hotel, you can look at household items from the Soviet past for a long time in the halls;
- the single room has an entrance hall with a hanger, a wardrobe, a desk, a bed, a huge refrigerator, a private bathroom, a TV, disposable slippers;
- the room is clean;
Disadvantages of the hotel:
- several floors and no elevator;
- it's cold in the room. It was only about 0 outside and 18 degrees in the room. There is no air conditioning. I suppose it can be hot in summer;
- weak sound insulation of doors;
- it's time to make repairs: peeling wallpaper, old switches, tees in sockets do not add security, although there is some Soviet charm in this;
- there is nothing in the bathroom except towels, a hair dryer and soap dispensers;
- the idea of a large, but empty and switched-off refrigerator is unclear. It is strange to put a monitor instead of a TV and, most importantly, it is unclear what can be seen in it from a distance, where the bed is;
- breakfast is weak: bread, sliced from several pieces of sausage and cheese, butter, yogurt, waffle, tea, coffee and a hot dish to choose from: porridge, eggs, pancakes or cheesecakes. It is difficult to stay hungry, but not to say that it is the top of taste.
Considering that there are few normal modern accommodation options in Vitebsk for a more or less adequate price, it is quite possible to stay here. There are a lot of strange decisions and the need for repairs, but cleanliness and good staff help smooth it out. Foreigners who have never seen the USSR are generally delighted with the hotel.

What can I say about the hotel? There is a unique combination of opposites) On the one hand, it's a pretty old building. However, so is everyone in the area. It's hard to tell from the layout what used to be here. Perhaps some kind of administrative building with offices (I am not a historian, and for sure the old-timers of Vitebsk will tell you). The old creaking parquet in the corridor (not in the rooms), Soviet posters, maps, busts of Lenin, some old utensils on the walls of the corridor. There was a radio with a Chaliapin record in the room, the TV stood on the skeleton of a Singer typewriter) There are interesting paintings on the walls of the room. The bathrooms have fairly simple, but good-quality plumbing, everywhere there are pieces of paper with the inscription "disinfected" (o - responsibility). All the linen is clean, everything is neat. Breakfast in the room is delicious!
In short, the impressions are only favorable!

Хороший отель для тройки с очень доброжелательным персоналом. Отель органично стилизован под музей, как в общей зоне, так и в меньшей степени в номере (у меня был одноместный).
В номере очень чисто, постельное белье, полотенца чистые, без пятен и посторонних запахов. Хорошая шумоизоляция номеров (я вообще не слышал соседей), при гостинице есть ресторан (я не был), отель предлагает классические завтраки. Есть сауна на цокольном этаже (я не был) и все классические сопутствующие отельные услуги вроде разбудить в какое-то время, постирать, погладить, мелкий ремонт вещей. В каждом номере своя интернет точка доступа (оптика), скорость не высокая, но соединение стабильное, а также прямой городской телефон (я не пользовался) и ТВ (я не пользовался).
Удобное расположение в центре города.
Цены адекватные. В общем цена/качество.

Плюсы:
1) отличное расположение: в самом центре, тихо, в шаге от памятника архитектуры, сквера с видом на набережную
2) персонал – радушный, приветливый, готовый помочь
3) минималистичный в хорошем смысле номер (у меня был одноместный), есть точечный свет, графика на стенах приятная, высокие потолки
4) очень чисто
5) никого не слышно (и это при полной загрузке)
6) толстая книжка с "отельной классикой услуг" – химчистка, румсервис, шкура питона..
7) свой роутер в комнате!
Незначительные минусы:
1) дизайн общих зон – максималистичный ретро-китч. Если вы совсем не выносите винтажные артефакты, шкафы с декупажем, позитивные цитаты – вам не сюда. Если выносите, имейте в виду – вживую лучше (сама не верю, что это пишу)
2) напор воды на 4 этаже мог бы быть сильнее, но в целом (в начале мая) терпимо
3) постельное белье достаточно сильно пахнет кондиционером, если вдруг вы аллергик, лучше понюхайте перед заселением, ну и сатин более приличествует обстановке. А ещё в торшер лучше ставить лампы теплого света, это моё субъективное.

We always stay at this hotel when we are in Vitebsk. It is a very atmospheric and unlike anything else place. The staff is pleasant, the location is perfect, there is a pedestrian zone nearby, a good beer bar and restaurants. The whole interior is from the distant past, but with taste. A good place to spend the night passing through and get acquainted with the central part of the city. I recommend it!

Замечательный отель, самобытный, с миллионом мелочей и штучек интерьерных. Старые фотографии, старинная мебель, книги, вазочки - очень все интересно и стильно. Здание старое, лифта нет, двери открываются ключами, но в этом и есть колорит. Цена за номер невысокая, в горячий сезон будет, конечно, чуть выше. Отель находится в самом начале прогулочной улицы, рядом Арт Центр Марка Шагала, и на стенах отеля репродукции картин Шагала тоже есть.
Не ждите здесь супер-современных услуг, здесь совсем про другое, про милый и душевный прием гостей. Завтрак в ресторане при отеле, недорогой, и нормальный, опять же так приятно за гостями ухаживают. В номерах чисто, но свои банные принадлежности лучше взять с собой.
Есть парковка, но заезд к ресторану «Ребро».
