I really liked the hotel. I was on the second floor, the room was warm, cozy and most importantly very clean. There are no foreign odors, there is Wi-Fi and all the conditions in the room at a very affordable price. I would really like to mention the fact that it is quiet and peaceful. There was a family with children in the next room, and I was alarmed (I thought it would be very audible and I wouldn't be able to rest, since I wanted to relax right off the plane during the day) by the polite and helpful staff, they greeted me with a smile, it was nice. We were worried if I was warm, comfortable, or needed anything-thanks to the girls for this attitude! We guided them around the city and called a taxi. We stayed at this hotel in early May 2026. This place of accommodation left an unforgettable impression… Upon arrival, we were greeted by the receptionist Vera, who showed us our room. While we were walking to this hollow, we forgot where we had arrived. Moreover, we were mistakenly placed in a room (flophouse) economy/budget/economy budget/ for beggars, similar to a pre-trial detention center (then we were given a pre-trial detention center, do not switch). The fact is that when booking on the aggregator, it was indicated that the room has all the amenities (bathroom), but in fact we were allocated a room in the basement with a shared bathroom on the floor/sauna/pool/jerkoff room (translate). We were extremely surprised by this situation, and the receptionist, Vera, on the contrary, was not surprised, referring to the fact that they have daily practice at the hotel. In fact, the hotel does not provide the correct information to the aggregators, it seems that the owners of the hotel deeply do not care about this fact. Vera enthusiastically told me that this was an absolutely normal everyday practice for them. (The review will be long, don't switch) Next, we agreed to stay that night in our 4-square-meter barracks, which had a small gap in addition to the window, because after the trip we didn't want to deal with the categories of rooms anymore. Vera, who has studied arithmetic, informed us that we can recalculate the price in order to move into a standard room from our economy utility room. We found out the price we had to pay to move out of this terrible place for the poor and move into a standard room, and we were ready to move into it the next night. An hour after staying in our social housing, it started to stink. The fact is that the ventilation of the air in this room (cellophane bag) comes only from an inverted window, which cannot be fully opened (normally), because of this the smell was so stale that there was already hope that this was our last night in life. In the middle of the night we tried to sleep, but we couldn't.... In addition to the stench, the sound coming from the front door to the building was very annoying and physically kept me awake. If you do not close the front door completely, it emits an annoying squeak that will torture your psyche at night and keep you awake and the whole mahalla (such is the Kyrgyz astral). But no one warned us that we had to close the door to the end, so this situation was a big surprise and a test. After waking up in our closet in the morning, we went to breakfast, and after that we went to Vera to confirm our intentions to move from our budget torture room to the standard room. Vera recalculated the cost of this service and named a different cost, which surprisingly turned out to be less than twelve hours earlier. At the same time, we were informed that the card payment would be 6% more, so we agreed to withdraw money from the ATM and move in the evening. We had previously asked to see the room, but Vera replied that only rooms with a large bed were available now, and we needed two separate ones. We agreed to change rooms after lunch. Chapter 2. After moving out of our prison, we withdrew money from an ATM and came to give Kyrgyz lava to upgrade the room. Another soul of this psychiatric hospital was waiting for us - Kanykey (I apologize if I made a mistake with the spelling of the name). She was aware of the situation of this transaction, but when she met us, it turned out that the rules of the game of this hotel are slightly different and change every 12 hours (the city falls asleep- the mafia wakes up). As it turned out, the associate professor of the Department of Mathematics (administrator Vera) gave the wrong transaction amount twice, and Kanykey announced the third amount for relocation, which was three times higher than those previously announced to us. We were extremely unhappy with this fact. It would seem that calculating the amount for relocation is not such a difficult task, but for some reason it turned out to be another circus in which it is unclear who the audience was. During a certain discussion about the price with Kanika, grandfather pekhto got out from somewhere, without introducing himself or specifying his position, announced that the price was like that and it was not being discussed, otherwise he suggested that we return and spend the rest of our days in our budget cell (possibly kunst). We didn't even understand who this male guest was, maybe it was a talkative guest (write your guesses in the comments). Without coming to a common denominator or even hearing an apology for the current situation, we, with the feeling that bankruptcy proceedings were forcibly imposed on us, moved to the cockroach department (standard room) sorry if spoiler. Previously, Vera showed us a room that we could move into, but we were not particularly satisfied with the fact that the front door to the room would be one and a half meters from the reception desk and we were afraid that it would be noisy. Vera announced that we can look at the available rooms with two separate beds after lunch. After arriving at the hotel, Kanykey started showing us the rooms on the floor above, which turned out to be ALL with one bed. In order to resolve this incident, the intern Kanykey turned to the maid of this lukomorye, which caused her to laugh loudly, because even in Kyrgyzstan there is no custom of cutting beds in half. Scout Kanykey apparently did not know that they were not separable. We had to move into the national geographic room, which was shown to us at the reception The highlight is a small running surprise that we found three hours later. Nothing foreshadowed trouble, and perhaps joy, we decided to relax after the day, decided to turn on the TV and watch Kyrgyz television as a cultural enrichment. We were unable to do this, as the entertainers of this evening introduced themselves as cockroaches running around the set-top box / the place where the consoles were. Without hesitation, it was decided to seek the assistance of an eternally cheerful and positive receptionist. Seeing us and asking, "HOW'S IT GOING, OKAY???" We replied that we weren't having so much fun and had to upset the administrator. But with her skill, she quickly got out of the situation and offered to take the anti-cockroach gel, which she had ready in her bosom. She said in plain text that she forgot to anoint our room with this miracle remedy from the store on the sofa for 16 rubles. But she didn't forget to move us into this room- it's fun, isn't it?😊 It is not known what caused the shock more: the willingness to move the guests to this room with anointed cockroaches or the lack of an offer to move to another room of a higher category, but I am already asking too much, since there has not been much apologies for this situation either, even verbally, but, apparently, in this hotel this is a domestic situation, not requiring special attention due to the guest's discomfort. There was nothing left but to go outside on this black evening and wait until we were given a command from the commander-in-chief of the mustachioed troops that we could retreat to our zoo training ground. Half an hour later, we decided that we could return to the room, as we did not understand when, after this miracle treatment, we could return to our box and whether it was even possible to stay there and sleep among these chemicals. It's amazing, but the cockroaches really weren't there at that hour and at that minute due to their escape to the corners, and it's unclear from what: whether from swearing on all fours (this really happened), or from the surreal situation. Chapter 3 (final) When we woke up in a great mood from the fact that we hadn't inhaled enough chemicals and hadn't seen a single mustachioed guest, we went home until the evening. Back at the Etalon hotel, sorry flagship, the third actress of this Kyrgyz du soleil, the receptionist Oksana, was waiting for us. From the doorway, Oksana asked how much money we had already contributed for our bullying, or rather, for upgrading the room, and after hearing the answer, we went to our biologist's paradise. But instead of playing Nikolai Drozdov, who found a mustachioed trophy in the bathroom, we decided to give Oksana the initiative. Without hesitation, Oksana offered the only alternative - to move to a room with a single bed on the floor above. That's how our third time of migration inside this hotel began. After receiving approval from Oksana, the border guard, we gradually moved our belongings, hoping that there would be no cockroaches in them. Indeed, the connection is only in this unearthly hotel for the whole of Bishkek. It's a classic story in general. The situation was escalating and we started arguing all over the ground floor- for 10 minutes they proved to us that we had to pay an extra thousand rubles for a cockroach room. Once again: a conversation in raised tones because of an unpaid thousand rubles for a room with cockroaches, as she said: "boys, math doesn't work like that." But it works in such a way that they can't calculate the room rate properly and move into a... normal room. But according to Oksana, these are just bugs, what to take from them. "You said you have insects there. I didn't run to see what bugs were crawling there"- quote. This is a devaluation of the situation and a substitution of concepts. Let's call a spade a spade, though. Also, according to her, the room "didn't have time to be cleaned," once again... there are cockroaches in the room and something is "anointed" and it wasn't cleaned. According to Oksana, we didn't ask to clean the room... but what, I'm sorry, should we? In her opinion, yes, she said that all over the world they come to the reception and ask for cleaning. Interesting. But with grief in half, the kind-hearted woman went to a meeting and a peace meeting and said, "okay, you don't pay for this night, but you need to pay for the next ones," After which it was decided to write to the aggregator with a request to cancel the reservation, which we had been trying to achieve all day. Allegedly, they did not receive a cancellation letter from them at the hotel. Our reservation was cancelled only at 6 p.m. the next day. That is, after almost a day. The last number was generally not bad, what we had originally expected. But we were given a whole performance out of these situations. There are also no standard sets for hotels with a toothbrush, paste and shampoo, but for me it does not matter, and I think for most: it is better not to use toothbrushes from disposable sets: only injure the gums. In general, if you do not need more than what is written above, the optimal hotel.

That's just that I paid for an expensive Flagship (not a bad rating), and they moved me right to the Lighthouse (low rating). This is not an isolated case, the cart wrote about it. The entrance to the Mayak Hotel is like entering a neighbor's garage. There are no identification signs that people live here or that this is a hotel at all. Address: Mayakovsky 114A. In the photo (where the car is), the entrance is barely visible. Good: there is an outlet, a shower. Hot water - you need to open the water and wait for 5 minutes. There are 2 wifi points. I had a bed with clean linen. There is a TV (not included). It was quiet enough, although it used to be written that drinking was partying at night. Bad: Everything is smoked. There is no kettle, refrigerator. There is nowhere to cook food. Exit or entrance to the "hotel" only through the "concierge". Every time you need to call her to open/close the door behind you. There are no heating pipes in the room. For a long time, I had an uneasy feeling that I was locked in some kind of garage.
