good hotel for budget vacation. beautiful exit to the terrace and proximity to the city center sounds attractive when choosing a hotel. On the eve of the new year, we were upgraded to a better room, which was very pleasing

I stayed at this hotel because of the location, and I didn't miss out. The location is really great: the historical center of Sultanahmet, all the main attractions (Hagia Sophia, Blue Mosque, Topkapi Palace) are 10-15 minutes away on foot. Nearby are cozy streets, inexpensive cafes. The prices are quite adequate for such an area. I was also pleased with the breakfast — it was modest, but satisfying and not bad in composition (standard Turkish set: olives, cheese, eggs, vegetables). Nuances (which you need to know in advance): The hotel is a classic "overnight stay" option. The rooms are simple, the sound insulation is weak. My room faced the inner shaft or the wall of the neighboring house —don't expect a view of the city. For a tourist who spends the whole day on excursions and only spends the night in a room, this is normal, but you won't want to sit in a room for hours. An important warning to future guests: The hotel is located deep in the Old Town on very narrow streets. Local taxi drivers from the airport often refuse to go there or drop off earlier — they are too lazy to wander. Consider this point. It is better to book a transfer at the hotel right away, they know how to get there. Or push the driver to get to the door. Bottom line: For 1-2 nights, if it's only important for you to spend the night in the center and not overpay, it's perfect. For a long stay or if you appreciate the view from the window, it is better to look for another option. The main thing is to decide on the transfer in advance.
