Four-legged Minaret: one of the most unusual minarets in the world. The Sheikh Matar Mosque was built in 1500 in the Turkish city of Diyarbakir by Kasim Bey. She became famous for her minaret, which is really unique – it stands on four columns, as if on "legs", and is a little far from the mosque itself. These pillars symbolize the four Muslim schools of law, and the minaret itself embodies Islam as a whole. Locals often call it the "four-legged minaret". Now the minaret is being restored. Historians say that there used to be an observation tower at this place, which was later converted into a minaret.

An interesting and worth seeing work. You are taking a photo under the feet of the minaret. Those beautiful places that could not be entered while there was terror have now become tourist attractions.

Nothing special. To pass by once and take a picture, if possible, because there are a lot of people who want to take a picture between his legs. In general, Diyarbakir was disappointing. I read the reviews that this is an interesting city with excellent cuisine, so I decided to stop by for one evening. Next time I'm passing by, I'll pass by. The city is dirty, they try to play tourism and make beautiful locations, but look around the corner, and there's a dump. It's very hot in summer. I didn't like the cuisine, the restaurant that was recommended at the reception seemed beautiful, but the food wasn't delicious, it was peppered, and they couldn't eat it.
