We vacationed in Rotan in February 2024, we are choosing this hotel for a vacation for the third time. The territory is beautiful, green, very well maintained, like a garden of Eden. The beach is clean, the entrance is good, the sand is fine. There are crabs and fish. There are enough sun beds. The weather in February is changeable, we would have had rain, huge waves, strong winds, beautiful sunny hot days and complete calm. Rooms are cleaned daily, bed linen and towels are changed daily. A couple of times they didn't bring bath towels, but there's nothing else to complain about. I liked the food, it got even better this year. There was beef, lamb, chicken, fish, fried squid, all kinds of cutlets, side dishes for every taste, salads, pastries... the tables are cleaned promptly. There are enough places. I would like to note the friendliness and responsiveness of all staff. This makes your vacation more comfortable. And I will also separately note the work of the rescuers, who do not just sit, but tirelessly watch both at sea and by the pool. Before my eyes, a drowning child was saved in the pool, in a matter of seconds. The children's room has improved, consoles and a sports complex have appeared. In general, we were satisfied with the rest.I promise that we will come back again!

We rest for the first and last time. I always write truthful reviews not for money and for people. The second day at the hotel. 2 adults and 2 children. I am immediately writing about the very big disadvantages. Those who come here across the sea have a big problem that travel agents don't talk about. This is the contamination of water with fuel oil . Spots all over the beach. Everything is very sad. Especially after lunch. Today is 04/27/2025 . There didn't seem to be any spots today. We swam at our own risk. In the evening, they still noticed brown spots on their legs. For the next 2 days, the sea is still without oil. Another global disadvantage is that there is absolutely no entertainment on the beach. I don't even have any music. Well, that's terrible. So many children and such boredom for them. Animation is just one name. I hope someone from the management of this hotel can see my review. Definitely, if you need movement, then you are not here. I'll add it further. Are you kidding the campers. Do not take any water before 10.00. Then there is a stampede and an incomprehensible queue near only 1 bar where you can get water and juices. So get up at 5 a.m. and see if you're thirsty or not... That's where the hotel management is..... Bestial attitude. 1 only the bar provides drinks. But you took money from people... Well , I 'm not collecting ... I write it as it really is... Well, once again I want to remember the paid bar at the entrance... A disgrace.... Rotana-Shmana.... Well, we paid a lot of money... Yes, give people free water to drink.... At least give it to the kids... That's a dilution... And who writes that it 's good here ... Please feel free to write to me directly, I will tell you for free how it can be good, I have no commercial purpose. Would you like to return to the hotel? Yes rather than no. But there are a lot of nuances when vacationing with children. 1. It all started with the fact that you can order an individual transfer from the airport to the hotel only by making an advance payment. Neither the assurances of decency, nor the voucher, nor the argument about the impossibility of transferring money did not work. It's understandable in principle, but the first time they refused for 5 trips to the UAE (the previous hotels were equally remote). 2. Food. Boring and uninteresting, but adults are fine, but there is almost nothing to feed the children. Rice every day and mashed potatoes twice in 2 weeks. Meat/chicken/fish all in super spices and sauces. At some point, he couldn't stand it and, in a slightly raised tone, explained to the Chef that nuggets and fries are not food for children 2-3 years old. To the chef's credit, he offered to cook on request without spices and so on! The staff is polite and if you ask for something individual, such as an urgent need for a baby cupcake from breakfast, and it's already evening, they will bring it to you and even hot. Thanks! But conceptually, there's a problem with food.. in the neighboring Meridian, it is much better, it cannot even be compared - it was a year ago. In the hotel of the same chain - Rotana Raselheim - the food is amazing, so the surprise is not the best .. 3. Animation. Everything seems to be fine, fun, fervent and diverse, if not one thing, BUT I can't understand why having 4-5 young animators you can't do a children's disco every day? And it is held 3 times a week. This is as strange and incomprehensible as possible. Considering that approximately 85% of the hotel's guests have young children, this is the most sought-after story and any parent would sacrifice some kind of aqua jim in favor of an evening children's disco. 4. Sun beds on the sea. It's a classic here - despite the signs everywhere saying "things booking a sunbed for more than 30 minutes will be taken away" - it's not possible to find a free sunbed at sea in the morning. And here, of course, everyone's choice is to stand on the sand, or take part in the morning competition to book a place in the sun. 5. The absence of at least some kind of snack during the day for all inclusive. In the same Rotana, but in Raselheim, there were snacks on the beach that replaced a full meal - and sandwiches, and salads are excellent, nuts, and so on. There's nothing here, just for a fee, which also came as a kind of surprise, not a pleasant one. There is an ultra all inclusive, there is more expensive alcohol and something to eat, but this is not accurate. 6. Cold pool. Apparently, in order to save money, they turned off the heating. More precisely, we thought so, it turns out that it was at a minimum, but we turned it off completely on the first hot day and then the water became quite invigorating - that's right, what to heat, it will warm up by itself.. but again, it's OK for adults, you can understand, but I don't understand how not to heat a children's paddling pool. Here, this concerns things that are not clear and did not like at all, but in general the hotel is normal. There are a lot of children, the sea and the beach are amazing, there are pools, the slide is working. And, another thing that caused displeasure, which was the first time we met - they open any jar and bottle in the bar, they don't give it to you in closed form. Again, it's clear why, but you can't take two cans of soda or tonic to the beach, so please go get a fresh one. Another general impression from the hotel is that there are a lot of regulations and rules - be kind enough to adjust. Somehow, this either didn't happen before, or they didn't pay attention. For example, if lunch is before 15:00, then at 15:01 you will not be served juice at the bar and will not be allowed into the restaurant - these are the rules. But the child is happy, that's the main thing!

The hotel, Fujaira Rotana Resort and spa, liked everything very much, especially the service in the Mozaique restaurant, the food is of high quality, the waiters are attentive, they respond promptly (Sherali, Saurabh). The rooms are newly renovated. A nice sandy beach, there were always enough sunbeds. The sea is clear, if you go to the left edge of the beach, you can sometimes see a sea turtle near the stones, if you dive with a mask, there are also colorful fish. The territory is green and well maintained. A swimming pool with a bar. In general, everything you expect from a vacation in this hotel is available. Overall, great! P.S. The only thing that bothered me a little was the crows, there are quite a lot of them, cawing. I hope that the hotel administration will cope with them.

New Year's Week passed quickly at the hotel. We didn't take excursions and did the right thing - there was something to do anyway. Every day we swam, sunbathed and walked along the beach. Then we played lawn tennis - thanks to Inna for her help in reserving equipment, visited neighboring hotels and realized that Rotana is the most cozy of all. We studied the catch of local fishermen - there are a lot of different and interesting fish. And of course, we enjoyed the magnificent view from the window of the room on the 4th floor. We will come again to get all this and additionally take a boat trip to shark island. Shark - the name comes from the shape of the island, not from the predator itself.

I'll start with the pros, a nice well-groomed green area. It is small, but compared to other hotels on this coast, there is a lot of greenery. Different birds, not just crows and pigeons). The warm ocean, all 9 days that we were there, clear water. There were no problems with the sun beds in general, they were occupied before breakfast, no one cleaned the towels for half an hour, although we left things. The last day of rest, however, there was a slight misunderstanding with another vacationer, Who told us that we occupied his sunbeds, which he occupied at 7 a.m. Since the staff still, I think, clean towels periodically, leaving some things on them is not such a bad idea. It is also unclear, on the last day of rest, the smell of fish and stale water appeared near the ocean. The water was muddy and very dirty. According to the room, we were accommodated in the main building on the ground floor. The Windows overlook the garden, the room is large and clean with access to the balcony. The only drawback is the smells of the restaurant and the smell of cigarettes, as there is a smoking area below. The stationary air conditioner worked without problems. In restaurants, we had an all-inclusive system with alcoholic beverages. Everything is very tasty, although there is really a small selection. For fruits, watermelons were given only in the morning, freshly squeezed pineapple and orange juices, at lunch it is usually apples and plums. Oranges and greyfruits in the morning, afternoon and evening. Pineapples were given for dinner, but they were enough for the first hour and replaced with apples and oranges. My favorite meal was probably breakfast. Seafood was once grilled squid, a couple of times some mashed sea soups, and some white fish steaks with some sauce. A couple of times there was a huge tuna-type fish, but it's not tuna. There were no snacks, no Snake bars. Perhaps this is due to Ramadan. There are a lot of Russians in the hotel, a lot of families with children, and in general the hotel is focused on a quiet, family vacation. Animation is mainly for children. there is nowhere much to go outside the hotel. Opposite is a car museum, a pharmacy with horse prices, and a seafood restaurant

Swimming in the Indian Ocean on January 1, celebrating the New Year in Moscow is an unforgettable experience! One thing was without pleasure - delivery from Dubai by transfer. Until we traveled all over the Persian Gulf, we did not get to Fujairah, we spent 4 hours working. We got back to the airport in 45 minutes! It's good that it didn't work out the other way around. And, also, you should not buy into the persuasions of beach managers (Margarita) to visit fur shops - there is such a hardened couple working there, he is Azerbaijani, she is Armenian, that you will leave them beggars! But in furs and leather. Great masters of their craft, this couple, they, in my opinion, taught just that scoundrel who sold refrigerators to Eskimos. But they are very colorful, it is already a pleasure to talk to them for life! Definitely, Fujairah Resort is the charm itself!

There are always sun beds, which surprised me. The rooms are large and new, as I understood, there was a renovation. It was cleaned daily. The service in the bar and restaurant is excellent. The only thing is there is practically no animation if anyone needs it.I just didn't need it. There were a lot of small children in the hotel. On the last day of the departure, the repair area was opened. It turned out beautifully and stylishly in the reception area. We lived in the second house on the 2nd floor. We went for free to the shopping center in Fujairah. They've been hopping. We already went on excursions last year. I really liked. I'll probably come to this hotel again. Russian-speaking hotel staff can be found at the reception. And Russians in this hotel are more than half of all vacationers. The diet is of course very different from Turkey, where you can eat all day long. There is strictly breakfast lunch and dinner. The bad thing is that despite the all-inclusive system, the first day we could only have dinner, because check-in at 15.00, before that only for our own money, and lunch ends at 15.00. We traveled independently, we organized the transfer ourselves. We met a man named Iftikhar Khan at the hotel, very friendly, understands and speaks Russian normally, offered his transfer services to Al Maktoum airport, it turned out to be much cheaper than offered at the hotel, we agreed and also asked for a discount, he went to a meeting. Next, they took our passports and a voucher and issued us, but they refused to check us in immediately, even for an additional fee, citing the fact that they have such rules (although later, after meeting other tourists, we learned that they did not have such a problem, and they were checked in within one hour). The lobby in the hotel is not very large (there are only two sofas on the ground floor, everything else is tables and chairs), I found an empty sofa, lay down on it and tried to sleep. After 5 minutes, a senior administrator came up to me, as it seemed to me, and asked if everything was fine with me. He further said that you can't lie on the couch. We had an All-inclusive. There are two bars on the street, one by the pool, the other closer to the sea. There you can drink simple alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks for free. If you want something better, then you need to take ultra All-inclusive, or pay separately. They asked to sign the receipt for any alcoholic drink, even if it was free (zero was indicated in the receipt). I didn't really like the pool. It is mainly designed for children. The depth and area are not large. But the water was warm almost all the time, except for one day in the morning. The sea was clear. The water is warm, though sometimes it's cool in the morning. The waves were small for one day. On May 19, the beach was closed after lunch and on May 20 before lunch, due to the fact that oil had arrived. I would like to highlight the excellent work of the rescuers. Both at sea and by the pool, they watched everyone and made timely remarks to those who violated any rules. The food in the canteen changed a bit every day. On Saturday and Sunday, something was being cooked for dinner on the grill, outside. There was always a separate children's meal. In the morning, scrambled eggs and pancakes are prepared separately. Pasta is prepared for lunch and dinner. Drinks are served at the entrance to the dining room (restaurant), in unlimited quantities. We liked the coffee and tea. I would especially like to highlight pudding for lunch and dinner in a heated container-very tasty!!! There's not much around the hotel. If you cross the street, there are several shops, a mosque and a museum of old cars. To the south there is the island of Snuppy, which is said to have corals and a lot of wildlife, but we did not check. There is a free shuttle service from the hotel to the City shopping center. It has Ikea and other brands. It takes about an hour to get to the shopping center. You need to make an appointment in advance. To summarize briefly: I liked the hotel, the vacation for seals, gained about 3 kg. My vacation was a success, but I won't go to the Emirates again in the summer! Only in winter!!!The only drawback: we were not warned that the hotel is undergoing partial renovation and there is no Lobby at the reception and lobby bar, and where can children spend time in such heat? Half an hour later, we were moved into different buildings. We went to the first floor of the 2nd building, and our friends went to the 2nd floor of the 4th building. When I found out that the neighboring rooms on both sides were empty, I went to the reception.
