We visited this restaurant either on May 3rd or 4th, 2022. It was a weekday when the May Day weekend was already over, and the weekend dedicated to Victory Day had not yet begun. There were few tourists in Nesvizh Castle, and our family of four (two adults and two children), having walked around Nesvizh Castle and decently bought souvenirs and authentic alcoholic beverages in the store here in the castle, decided to have dinner. Let's go to the Hetman! The beautiful interior of the restaurant, the exquisite table setting and the cozy round table determined our choice. Having settled in and familiarized ourselves with the menu, we made an order and began to wait patiently for it. Twenty minutes later, already a little furious, he asked the waiter: where is at least water for adults and juice for children? I was assured that everything would be fine right now. Twenty minutes later, already pretty pissed off, he went to the bar/reception desk and insinuated asked if they were crazy that they hadn't served drinks yet? I was informed that the staff is very busy and can not cope! To which I informed them that they were really blown away, because working in a half-empty institution is called a heavy workload, and it was recommended to close one of the halls since the staff is so "overworked". After that, drinks were served. Twenty minutes later, the food began to be served. Unfortunately, the receipt has not been preserved, but to our sincere surprise, EVERYTHING served was made from very good and fresh products and very tasty. Especially vegetables! What I remember. "Warm salad with sweet pepper" and "Nesvizh salad" were good! I really liked "Stewed cabbage soup with pork and porcini mushrooms", my wife, and me too, "Lithuanian-style Draniki with stewed beef in cherry sauce" and "Belovezhsky-style Draniki with mushrooms, sour cream, herbs and garlic". My daughter was eating some kind of cutlet from the children's menu with mashed potatoes. Somehow, the beautiful cutlet was accompanied by some kind of shameful tasteless mashed potatoes. Belarusian brothers, you can't do this! My son waited a long time for the "Princely Meat", but it was worth it. It was a very tasty dish. Considering the waiting time and the upcoming walk around the castle, dessert was not ordered. The bill was already high. But the delicious and beautiful dishes returned us to a complacent state, we parted with money without regret. Tip: be sure to check the waiting time when visiting!

It's a magical place. Starting from the interiors, ending with the menu. Everything is at the highest level. But the most magical thing is of course the atmosphere. Anyone who leaves here at least once will definitely want to come back :) I recommend it to everyone.

On the positive side, I can note the entourage and dishes.
From the negative - zero service, the girl was an intern, but she didn't have enough wit to guess to remove empty dishes from the table or come up to ask if something was needed. There is no kitchen at all. It's not worth the money.
Expensive, about nothing. I'm a little ashamed of the service in front of foreign tourists - still, the place is not easy, it was possible to reach the level.

We were in the restaurant, if I may say so, recently, so the memories are fresh.
In the morning we took breakfast from the hotel (18 rubles / person): rice, fried egg, half a tomato and cucumber, 2 pieces of cheese and meat; coffee, donut (see photo). These pieces look very modest. The doughnut is cheap and stale.
In the evening we went to dinner and realized that breakfast is still "flowers". The main part of the hot dishes on the menu are pancakes. We waited for them for about 40 minutes. The appearance of the pancakes is disgusting, the taste corresponds to the appearance. How can you spoil a national dish like that? Has the cook ever eaten normal pancakes? The questions are rhetorical.
Prices for hot dishes are 17-35 Belarusian rubles. As I understand it, "Hetman" is the best of what is in Nesvizh, but, unfortunately, everything is very bad.
Many people will like the interior, if you do not look into the details. The hall is stuffy, there is no air conditioner (this is understandable), but you can at least open the windows.
The staff is not interested in pleasing the guests in any way, as it is designed for one-time visits by tourists. And tourists have a desperate situation. There is no presentation of dishes, they do not ask if the guests liked it or not. They do not offer accommodation on the terrace.
In general, the level does not correspond to the restaurant in any way. And we have to dismiss the Belarusian service again, but 2022!

We went to have lunch with our family after visiting the castle. I was immediately unpleasantly surprised by the smell of a shovel canteen at the entrance. Prices are higher than in Minsk. Long service, waiters for some reason dragged vases with flowers back and forth, creating the appearance of intense activity. The order was carried for a very long time. They did not ask about serving drinks, immediately or with the main course. I ordered a signature Nesvizh salad. Tasteless, bland and expensive. As a result, 117 rubles were given for a modest lunch. By comparison, a full lunch at the Cornflower Cafe was cheaper. I do not recommend visiting.

For a C grade. The place itself is great. But the cuisine is mediocre both in taste and in serving.
We ordered: meat plateau, princely pork, beef pancakes, baby chicken nuggets and Lida draft beer. The most decent is beer and nuggets. I do not recommend taking the rest.

Terrible kitchen, how could you spoil the pancakes? It remains a mystery to me, and this is in one of the most famous tourist spots in Belarus.We booked a table in advance, as a result, the table was not set, although a pre-order was made and the exact number of guests was indicated.
A complete disappointment.

A disgusting place , after the order was made , the waiting for alcohol was 20 minutes , after an hour of waiting for food , they got up , paid for alcohol and left hungry , prices were sky - high and the service was at zero , they did not even apologize . I do not recommend visiting if you do not want to spoil the positive feeling of a trip to Belarus.

Beer for 4, moonshine for 5, food for 4. The menu has half a liter of moonshine with you. I took it in a restaurant in Belovezhskaya Pushcha and therefore was not surprised. I was surprised when they brought bottles of vodka or gin with the previous label badly washed off. Considering that here half a liter costs 50p and in Belovezhskaya 19 I expected, if not a crystal decanter, then something decent. Well, let's assume that you have to pay for an exclusive. But I found out that the cork on the bottle does not hold liquid the next day when we were going. It's good that there was duct tape in the car. That's what the unit is for!

A pleasant atmosphere and that's where all the advantages end. The worst pancakes I've eaten, salads are cut like for pigs, there is no dressing and no salt… About the service: we were shocked that they did not bring us clean appliances, as they do everywhere, and they definitely should in the restaurant, we had to eat the topics that were on the table… There was also something incomprehensible for breakfast: Greek unleavened rice with scrambled eggs on top.... In short, they didn't spoil only coffee and alcohol. The scoop is in its pure form.

I was in Belarus last year and spent the night at Nesvizh Castle. It's great there. in the castle. Museum and restaurant. Where I went in the evening. Coolness, magnificent interiors. And a local tincture. I was alone in the hall. I was going to have a quiet evening after a hard day. I was alone in a small room. And then a couple entered the hall. A young girl and a man. The man uttered the words: "Finally, let's take a break from the cattle!" And he saw me. He was under the shofe. The only thing that calmed me was that he was with a girl. I shrank into my chair and started eating the salad. Something told me that the evening was ruined. And so it turned out. He came up to get acquainted, called for his table. And demanded it. He breathed on my food)) And the girl said she was a sister. There were only waitress girls in the restaurant. There was no one to complain to. I did not be rude, so that the man would not become aggressive. I told you I was married. But it didn't help much. He began to hold out his hands to me. I had to not finish my cake and run for my life. Go to the park and feed the mosquitoes.
But the Hetman restaurant is great. A very atmospheric place and delicious pancakes. Our whole group has been there, he works late. I recommend this place to everyone. The prices are considerable, but dining in the castle by candlelight is worth it.
