I visited a tourist attraction in Antalya, in the Muratpasha area, and was pleasantly surprised. The atmosphere here is wonderful, it creates a feeling of comfort and tranquility. The staff showed a high level of hospitality. I especially want to note that the place leaves a very pleasant impression. I recommend Hadrian's Gate to anyone who wants not only to see the attraction, but also to relax in a pleasant atmosphere. A great place to visit!

The business card of Antalya, the entrance to the old town, many ancient streets where you can get lost and take a million beautiful photos, it's better to download offline maps earlier, the prices in the cafe are the same as in the city, the fortress borders the seaport from where you can take a sightseeing tour of the sea, while waiting for the start of the walk you can eat fresh fish grilled fish, the price is about 500 lira per dish, there is a free glass elevator from the port to the fortress wall, there are especially a lot of people after lunch, the fortress is about 2 thousand years old.

I really like the old town itself: it is beautiful, colorful, cozy, many pleasant shops, cafes, a port, an embankment, a bay .., it is not Turkey in the usual sense (it somehow reminded Croatia, Zadar). The gate is one of the main attractions of this place, as well as the minaret, the port and the square.., just walking around the old town has a purpose)) you come, you look, you see crowds of tourists, and you quickly turn into the first curved, quiet and cozy street you come across. Mission accomplished)) 🙏 moving on, hanging out in a cafe 🍹☕️ and watching passers-by from all over the world! High 😍

The majestic Hadrian's Gate in Antalya is the pearl of the Old City, an impressive symbiosis of the epochs, where the perfectly preserved ancient Roman triumphal monument is organically integrated into the modern urban landscape, leaving an indelible impression.

Hadrian's Gate — Time travel! This place is really breathtaking! Standing under the majestic arches, you feel how history literally comes to life around you. The atmosphere is steeped in antiquity — it seems that Roman legionnaires are about to turn the corner. The magnificent architecture, preserved through the centuries, impresses with its scale and details. A must-visit for anyone who is interested in history and just wants to feel like a part of the ancient world!

An interesting monument of ancient architecture of the Roman Empire. It is very well preserved. It's nice to be in this Murat Pasha neighborhood, which looks like old Jerusalem. Visiting this area changes the way you think about Antalya. I recommend visiting this place and admiring the sea from the observation deck.

There are quite authentic buildings, many observation points with nice views. There are many shops and cafes. There are drinking taps that save you in the heat. Among the disadvantages, I would like to note the closure of a once-public beach by some institution under construction.

A wonderful piece of history, inscribed in the modern urban landscape. There are a lot of people. From them you can walk down to Marmaletto beach. It is paid for something like 1000 rubles per person. Cramped but interesting) Below there are old streets with shops and shops. We went to Antalya by rental car from Side. 35-40 euros per day. The gasoline is your own. You can drive, the rules are like ours, there are a lot of pointers, everything is OK on the navigator. There is nowhere to park in the area of these gates. We drove a little lower, to Antalya Park, and then parked. Then we walked through the park to the sea, where there is a very high steep bank and there is no access to the water... Let's go to the right... we walked along the shore and reached the bolshoy cafe and through it the entrance to the beach... Or back to the gate

It's beautiful, there's nothing to say grandly, and touching this historic place is like making a leap in history. Hadrian's Gate is a triumphal arch in Antalya (Turkey), erected in honor of the Roman Emperor Hadrian, who visited Attalia in 130. This is the only preserved entrance gate of the walls surrounding the city and the harbor.1 The structure consists of two colonnaded facades, three entrance arches rising above four pylons, and towers standing on both sides. The gate is about 8 meters high.

One of my favorite places in the center of Antalya, which is full of antiquity, beauty, and history. Nearby is Kaleici or the old town, where you can walk along the narrow streets endlessly and drink freshly squeezed juices. There is also a bustling center here.

A cool gate through which you enter the old town and wandering through the narrow, beautiful tourist streets, you can access the fascinating embankment. And in the evening, musicians periodically play and sing at the gate, I was lucky to listen to a young and very talented singer)

A historical place, a symbolic arch. For those who are into history, they will understand, for those who are just tourists, they will also go. The main thing is in the middle, when passing through the shales, be careful-because of the popularity and high passability, the central stones were rubbed to shine and slippery. Not all shoes can hold

The place is strange, you need to know the history to be impressed. Antalya's old town, which begins outside the gate, has retained its architecture. It is pedestrian-friendly with narrow streets. Houses with a stone lower floor and a second floor extending into the street. The first floors are cafes, hotels and souvenir shops. Going down you will get to the port of Antalya. There are several pleasure yachts in the port, but no large ships there. There are also viewing platforms with views of the sea and mountains-it's very beautiful.

An interesting tour, it's worth going if the hotel is nearby. And it's better not in the heat. We were in October, walked around the city in comfort. The place is very atmospheric, but all the charm will open in the evening, when all the Cafes open under the open sky, musicians will appear. The young people of our group stayed there, they got to the hotel by taxi. One of the advantages is a very good guide, an interesting story about the history of this place, about traditions in everyday life and crafts. Minus the excursion-we ran very quickly, one view point and did not give any free time at all, but there is something to see. The tour costs $ 29.

The old part of the mountains. Antalya is very interesting. It occupies a large area on the Mediterranean coast. Rocky mountains adorn the distance. The water is surprisingly clean, swimming in early November is a pleasure. This is a place worth visiting.

A beautiful place with pleasant streets of the old town. There are many souvenir shops and junk shops. If you go there by car, then parking will be a problem) I walked 15 minutes from the parking spot but it was worth it. Be sure to eat at some cafe in the old town and go to the mosque.

The gate has been perfectly preserved, despite its venerable age! I was particularly impressed by the track (really from the chariots?!) and the quality of the construction... Each block has a quality mark (apparently, the Armenians made it) and the gap between the blocks is minimal... I'm even at a loss to say if our civilization could have done something like that (and for two thousand years!)

A beautiful and atmospheric place that breathes of history. In the central part, there are deep ruts on the floor from once-loaded carts passing here. Nowadays, a lot of people also pass by here, and in the evenings young people sing songs to the guitar.

This is one of the entrances to the old town- the most magnificent. You can visit at any time, access is free. Pigeons are sitting on the fortress wall to the left of the gate, you can throw a handful of sunflower seeds on the ground and they will fly together - unusual photos are obtained.

A wonderful example of an ancient gate, well preserved because in the Byzantine period they did not favor their triumphant significance in the Roman perception of it and simply sealed up with stones as part of the wall. In general, the old city of Antalya is a pleasant discovery, I thought it was just a transit point on the way to more interesting parts of the Turkish Mediterranean, but it turned out that you can take yourself a walk for the whole day. I recommend an examination.

Hadrian's Gate is one of the most ancient architectural landmarks. It is they who divide the city into two parts. One is full of memories of the long—gone past, the other is full of the active life of the present. The gate leads from the busy Ataturk Cadesi highway (known locally as Ishiklar) to the old city district — Kaleici quarter. Next to the gate there is a lively park where you can take a walk and relax from the hot sun. There is a legend that if you walk under each of the gates and make wishes, they will definitely come true. Is it true or false, bilmiyorum))
