Iskander is one of my favorite dishes in Turkish cuisine. And I went here to get a budget Iskander, because it costs twice as much in my area. It's certainly not the most delicious thing I've eaten, but it's not bad on the whole. The place itself is quite budget friendly and the service is very pleasant and fast. For 2 iskanders, 2 lentil soups, a chug of coffee and a portion of potatoes with pickles, they gave 730 lira, which is about the same as we would have given in the dining room. But unlike the dining room, it's quite civil and served by waiters.
