My first and spontaneous trip to Istanbul happened in December 2025. Initially, there were 9 hotels in my favorites list on the Islet website to stay in Istanbul, then 2. And in the end, the Spectra Hotel was chosen as the favorite for accommodation. The location of the hotel is gorgeous. Nearby is the Blue Mosque (we always admired it while having breakfast), the Hagia Sophia Mosque and many other attractions. The hotel itself is small, but very cozy. There is a reception and a restaurant on the ground floor. You can access the room by stairs or by elevator. We had a 202 deluxe room with a view of the Blue Mosque. The room had everything you needed for living: 2 beds, 2 bedside tables, a chair, an armchair, a wardrobe with a free safe, a desk, a kettle+ tea/coffee/sugar/cream, a TV. The bathroom is very small, but with new plumbing. Shampoo, shower gel, and soap were available. Towels were changed every day. They also replenished their water supplies and everything else. The Wi-Fi worked perfectly everywhere. The hotel staff is polite and friendly. The breakfasts are delicious, we had enough of everything. I recommend the Spectra Hotel for a stay in Istanbul.

A great hotel in the very center of Istanbul. The optimal price-quality ratio. The hotel has an elevator, not just a spiral staircase, which is a rarity in Istanbul.Transport accessibility allows you to explore any attraction, the bus stop is 1-5 minutes from the hotel. Very comfortable bed, white cotton bed linen and towels, linen was changed after 2 days, towels are replaced daily. The buffet breakfast is worthy of special praise, in more expensive hotels it is worse. Dinner at the hotel was also a pleasure, it was delicious, the price was adequate, for guests there is a 10% discount on Two salads, two portions of shrimp, beer and a cocktail cost 3,000 liras. The Internet is fast.

Excellent location, the rooms are of course very small, but clean, nice bed. Breakfast is not rich, but it is difficult to stay hungry, the bread is always fresh. Very tasty coffee. The tea on the first day was also great and free, but then they started making it with bergamot, and I can't stand it. There is also an a la carte restaurant on the ground floor, the prices are not small. They charge a service fee, which in fact is not there. On the last day of our stay, we really spoiled the impression of ourselves. After breakfast, we left our suitcases and went for a walk. We returned a couple of hours later, ordered beer and tea, and then the price of beer immediately skyrocketed, and I know how much this beer costs on the menu, but they tell me the price is much higher. In short, they wanted to cheat to the fullest. By the way, they wanted 100 lire for tea. Although even in the most expensive place it is not worth more than 70. In Turkey, you have to be on the lookout, they really want to cheat and give you the wrong change. By the way, in another institution, they should have given 400 lire from 20 dollars, but they gave 100.
