The building was built in 1937, under Hitler there was an art gallery, where there were paintings and sculptures in the style of German national Socialism. There is a small hall where you can see archival photos, which are quite interesting to look at. The sculptures in these photos seemed to me similar to the famous Soviet sculpture "Worker and Collective farm girl".
