We stayed at this hotel from January 31 to February 10, 2020. Excellent location, close to the sea, there are also no problems to eat, cafes at every step. There is not enough space in the room itself, they ate on a table the size of a stool. The closet is small, clothes hung on chairs, some in the closet. A bottle of water per person per day, but we immediately bought a 6-liter bottle in the store, it was enough for the whole vacation. There is food in the hotel restaurant. The breakfasts were quite normal, we were not hungry. The sea is gorgeous, very warm, transparent, clean, but to swim you need to go a little bit. It's great with the kids. 2 sun beds with an umbrella of 200 baht, we sunbathed on a mat, which you can buy right there. There was a breeze in the morning, which helped to endure the heat. I consider the lack of a shower and a foot wash to be a disadvantage. There is also no sink in front of the hotel, they dragged all the sand with them and went into the pool area to rinse themselves. In general, the rest was a success, because we flew over the sea and warmth, which we received. I recommend this hotel.

The hotel is located in a convenient place to stay. It is a 20-minute walk to Karon beach, 10 minutes to Kata and 10 minutes to Kata Noi in the same direction. Nearby there are all shops, a market, pharmacies and fruit stalls. Excellent pool, decent breakfasts, excellent cleaning. It is advisable to take rooms with a view of the pool, as a neighboring hotel is currently under construction and the view from the balcony will not be very good. By the way, Ibis in Patong is also a decent option for a holiday!

There is a hairdryer, liquid soap, shower gel, shampoo in the bathroom, but there are no shelves at all. There is a bar, billiards, sofas in the lobby. There are sun loungers by the pool. There is a good massage parlor at the entrance. The breakfasts are average. For an amateur. There is no direct access to the beach. Bypassing the hotel on the first line. In principle, it is not far for those who like to walk. Minus the huge construction site. A quarter of the rooms overlook it. After 18 hours, the work stops. Hello! Time of stay February 2020 with breakfast and dinner. I liked the hotel in general. Parking is large (for cars and motorbikes), the surrounding area with a swimming pool. There is a Russian-speaking manager at the reception. The hotel staff is very friendly. The hotel's kitchen was unpretentious (there were no fish dishes), but everything was delicious and of high quality. The disadvantages are small inconvenient rooms. The room is cleaned every day, but for some reason the floors are only swept. Of this, only 4 out of 5 were put. Good luck to you!

The Ibis Phuket Kata 3* Hotel. We had a rest in February 2020. Positive: 1) Russian receptionist at the reception. Advises on any issues: room accommodation, how to get where, etc. 2) Location. You can go to three beaches: Karon, Kata, Kata noi. For me, the best beach is Karon. It is wide, clean, and there are places on the beach with natural shade. There are rocks in the south of the beach, there is excellent snorkeling. It takes about 15 minutes to walk to the beach with a quiet stroll, looking at a million shops, buying fresh fruit, ice cream or pancakes)) Kata Beach - you need to go to this beach through the stinky river. If it is still normal to walk along it during the day, then in the evening it is very dark and unpleasant. If you go around on the other side, then it takes a long time to walk, since there is a hotel located throughout the territory of Kata, which you need to bypass in order to get to the beach. Kata Noi - I would not recommend this beach at all. The journey takes approximately 25 minutes. But it is expensive and unpleasant, since there is almost no pedestrian anywhere, you need to go up and down the mountain, where they drive cars and mopeds. And the beach is not worth it. 3) The air conditioner is not directed at the bed (we slept with the air conditioner on and everything is very comfortable) 4) Delicious and varied breakfasts. And breakfast from 4.00 to 12.00. But a full breakfast (with hot dishes) from 6.00 to 10.30 Minuses: 1) Terrible Wi-Fi in the room (we lived on the 5th floor and the Wi-Fi was disgusting, nothing was sinking. However, if you sit at the reception, then the speed is good there) 2) 100% audibility in the rooms. I can hear everything: how they walk in the hallway, what they say, you can hear the TV working in the next room (as if your room is turned on). In general, if you are not lucky with your neighbors, then staying at the hotel will be uncomfortable) 3) Cramped rooms. We lived with 3 adults. 3 adults are accommodated in a standard two-bed room and two more mattresses are placed on the floor (thus another bed is obtained). Because of this, it's sooo tight. But for 2 adults, probably a room in size will do. CONCLUSION: Personally, I will not go to this hotel anymore, as silence is very important to me. You can hear everything here. We were lucky with the neighbors, they didn't bother us. But on the first day of rest there were other tourists-neighbors and they were just apparently going home, and everything was heard. I thought it would be like this for the whole vacation, but fortunately they moved out, and no one bothered us anymore, except for talking and footsteps in the hallway. But who doesn't mind the noise from the neighbors, then this hotel is a great option!
