A wonderful museum with a rich exposition of folk instruments from Kazakhstan and other countries of the world. I saw a lot of things for the first time in my life. I went to the museum with my grandchildren, they also really liked it. The only thing is, since there is no permanent guide nearby, it would be possible to provide the showcases with musical instruments with more detailed information.

The museum building itself looks like a monument of wooden architecture, many musical instruments have elegant patterns and details, national music is played in the halls of the museum, the child was pleased with the visit to the museum, the museum is free for children, for an adult a nominal fee of 1000 tenge.

A wonderful museum. There are so many musical instruments and each has its own story, which was told to us by the wonderful guide Akbota. It is very noteworthy that the museum hosts musical evenings where you can listen to the sound of museum exhibits.

It's a very interesting museum. There is a wonderful collection of instruments from different countries, not only Kazakh ones. I liked. The halls are quiet and peaceful, nothing prevented you from quietly watching the exhibition of instruments.

A small museum with an extensive collection of musical instruments. The staff is 3+ (on the tour, for the most part, we were just given signatures under the exhibits). You can just walk around and read on your own. In general, it's not bad, but we need to improve the system of excursions.

The museum is very fascinating. musical instruments of the Kazakh people and more than 50 nations of the world are presented. There are also memorial musical instruments of famous personalities of the 19th and 20th centuries, such as dombra Abai Kunanbaev, Zhambyl Zhabaev, Nurgisa Tlendiev, Akhmet Zhubanov, Dina Nurpeisova. The guides provide information in three languages, the only thing is to make an appointment in advance. I definitely recommend you to visit!

It's a good museum. They conduct magnificent excursions in it, they tell everything very interestingly. It is interesting not only for children, but also for adults. I've loved this museum since high school.

It's a very interesting place. The museum is small, there are 5 halls, as it seemed to me, but you can hang out in each for a long time. Beautiful instruments, description of the significance for the cultural heritage of Kazakhstan.

I didn't get into this museum because of the long queue. We found information on the museum's website that there is an opportunity to register for a visit, but I did not find how this can be done. It is easier for the organizers to make the website more understandable and the recording option more accessible.

The museum has a large collection of folk instruments, not only Kazakh ones. A video is being shown in one of the halls, and you can get acquainted with the sound of some instruments. It will be interesting to everyone who is interested in music, folklore, and ethnography

There is a large exposition of Kazakh instruments and other peoples, but this is one of the most non-interactive museums that I have visited. Each instrument is accompanied by a laconic signature "dombra 19th century", "kobyz" - the stands are not equipped with any additional information for self-study. There is simply nothing to do without a guide (you need to sign up in advance on a day off). We came on Saturday evening, according to the administrator, the guides were all busy, however, apparently, they simply were not in the museum - the guide did not work in any hall. Bottom line: the collection is excellent, the museum practically does not perform an educational function. More of an exhibition than a museum

A cool museum, a lot of different instruments, unusual, I see many for the first time. I would really like the museum to have the opportunity to point the phone at the instrument, read the QR code and listen to the audio of how all these instruments sound. This is very lacking. Silent instruments, of course, are impressive, but it would be possible to enhance the effect!

A gorgeous atmospheric place for connoisseurs of ethnic instruments. It's not just Kazakh, there are a lot of things. Mostly strings, of course, but there are actually a lot of them. You can get stuck for a long time, looking at it.

The museum is full, but if you want an excursion, and this is necessary, otherwise nothing informative about the tools is clear, you need to book a lot in advance, day to day will not work.

We went with the whole family, the younger one didn't like everything, the older one didn't like it very much, there were a lot of interesting exhibits, it was a little boring and there was not enough description of the exhibits, also technology by type of tablet with information about instruments worked poorly, musical accompaniment also does not work. I would like to listen to any musical instrument in this museum.

There is a large interesting exposition, you can listen to how some instruments sound, but ... the day before the tour, I went in and clarified: the tour is conducted by two people no later than an hour before closing - great! a few hours before the visit, I called, asked what time you were working - you were in time ... you arrived, and the only guide just went home early)))

It's not a bad museum, but without a tour there's not much that will be clear. The easy Travel audio guide works only in the first hall. Unfortunately, it was not possible to take the tour, as the guide was busy, he did not get free in an hour and a half. Plan a trip to this museum by booking a guide in advance.

The museum is small and makes a pleasant impression. Some of the halls are dedicated to Kazakh folk instruments (mainly various dombra and kobyz are exhibited), and some of the halls are devoted to musical instruments from other Asian countries. Some of them are similar to Kazakh ones (for example, instruments from Azerbaijan or Turkmenistan), and there are very unusual ones from China, India or Indonesia

I really liked the museum. There are a lot of interesting things, especially the good music that is playing in all the halls. I would also like to know which instrument is playing)) You understand that he is standing in the hall where you are standing - but which one?.. an interesting and interesting museum

A large modern museum of folk instruments. Carefully selected exposition, about 10 halls. There are about 6 halls with instruments from Kazakhstan, the rest are from other countries. The tour is quite boring, but nothing is clear without it.

A big exposition, BUT! It's not bright enough everywhere, you can't read the comments. The background is a recording of domra and some other instrument. There is no interactive, only a few tools have QR codes at the entrance and you can still read something. Ideally, there would be a rack with the ability to play sound at least in terms of instruments. And the opportunity to read through a link somewhere. A person with poor eyesight can't really make out anything on the 10th plate anymore. At the same time, the collection is simply wonderful!
