⚠️ Tourist Alert / Warning: Avoid This Shop ⚠️ I am sharing this as a serious warning to fellow tourists. Please avoid this shop and be especially cautious of the individual in the picture. My experience here was extremely unprofessional and aggressive: Deceptive Payment Practices: When I asked if they accepted card payments, the staff member confirmed they did. However, instead of using a standard, secure bank-issued card terminal (which is the norm in Georgia), he tried to use an unknown, suspicious method on his personal phone. Failed Transaction & Hostility: After his phone method failed twice, I politely informed him that I did not have cash and would leave the drink. Instead of understanding, he became visibly angry and aggressive. False Accusations: He later approached a person I had just happened to be speaking with at the shop and falsely claimed that I had consumed the drink and was trying to return it—a complete lie. Coercion: Because of his aggressive behavior, he forced that bystander—who was not even with me—to pay for the drink simply because I had been talking to them. This behavior is completely unacceptable. As tourists, we expect the same standard of service and security found in other reputable establishments across Georgia. Threatening visitors and forcing innocent bystanders to pay for a failed, non-standard transaction is not only unprofessional but also detrimental to the reputation of the local tourism industry. Please stay away from this shop to avoid being scammed or harassed.
