There are not many historical buildings and rows, those that are, at least, are maintained in almost decent condition, and the rest is just garbage. It's very dirty, the sanitation is complete.

It is an authentic and pleasant place. My favorite bazaar in Izmir, where you can find jewelry, ornaments, gifts and bohemian-style clothes. You can visit the bazaar and have something to eat and drink in the cafes and restaurants in the courtyards. A place that tells the soul of the city.
