The Lutheran church first appeared in Grodno in the last decade of the 18th century. By the end of the 19th century, it looked about the same as it does now. During the First World War, some of its parishioners were deported to the inner provinces. During the Second World War, of course, the Lutheran community died out, the church was closed. The Lutheran cemetery, which was located nearby, was built up. There was an archive in the church building until 1994. It has now been transferred to the Lutheran community. Restoration has been carried out. The only functioning Lutheran Church in the territory of the Republic of Belarus. There are about 50 parishioners.
