We came to the glorious city of Vitebsk to relax for a couple of days. And we decided to go to this place. In short. The service was just average, I had to go to the menu myself, the order was not repeated after recording, which caused the grilled vegetables to get lost in the fog, and there was no awareness of the promotions posted on Instagram (in our case, it was free champagne on Wednesday) Cuisine - we ordered beef carpaccio, rib eye steak and pork neck. Let's start with the good thing - I really liked the steak, it was undercooked as I like it - medium rare almost turned out and it rarely happens. At the same time, the size of the steak was good. Baked garlic is also included. Pork neck is a bit greasy - I don't know where the pig has fat on its neck, but this one apparently had several chins. But the highlight of the program is the carpaccio: it was served semi-thawed. There is nothing wrong with the preparations, but you need to know the measure - if the meat tolerates it well (although it was still crispy around the edge from the freezer anyway), then goat cheese (or whatever it was) does not survive after freezing. It blurs and loses its taste due to ice crystals that simply tear the texture. Carpaccio is a chilled snack, not a frozen one) Tea and lemonade are OK. The entourage is okay too. It's hard to expect anything incredible from the restaurant, which is based on the second floor of the train station - nevertheless, the floor and large windows were inherited here. But it's still nice and lamp-like - pleasant music is playing, there are lamps that imitate flashes of fire. To summarize, I would put 4/5. The restaurant is not perfect and there is room to grow in the professionalism of the team and the serving of dishes, but the taste itself is good, and this is the main thing for me. There is a base and I hope next time in Vitebsk this restaurant will shine brighter than before. P.S. The field of communication with the waiter - write a simple phrase for yourself - discounts do not add up and you will get rid of all questions)
