It's a pretty decent fish market, but there are some nuances). Some of the sellers speak Russian, which is fascinating), some speak English, most only speak Turkish, so it was fun. In fact, the price tag is quite democratic. I think we didn't bargain enough, we need to be bolder. There is plenty to choose from, the product is fresh. Everything that is sold there can be cooked, the options are either to take with you, or to sit down in a cafe (for an additional fee for cooking). We decided to take it with us, probably there was a mistake in this and the quality of cooking suffered ((. The lobster was frankly undercooked, the seafood is one masterpiece, and the other is undercooked, the shrimps were pleased (but they are difficult to spoil). We waited for 30 minutes. I wanted to take an octopus (I ate it in Egypt, cooked it at the market, took it with me - delicious), but they said they had to wait 2 hours...

I was on the market for the first time. I just love fish and all seafood. I came and chose fish and shrimps. Everything was prepared on the spot, and it was very tasty, and of course we ate heartily. Prices vary depending on what you choose. But it's definitely twice as cheap as in cafes. So I took a medium-sized dorado (700g) for 300 lire and 1kg of shrimp for 600 lire. Cooking fish in a cafe costs 150 lire, and shrimps with peeling cost 400 lire. In total, the fish cooked and served on the table cost 450 lira, and in a cafe in the Aksaray area, the same fish costs at least 850. I won't tell you the difference about shrimps, I wasn't interested in what they were doing in the city. But obviously not 600 lire per kg. I recommend taking the time to go ashore and eat delicious food.

Cool market! Everything is fresh and you can immediately eat whatever you choose. They cook right there. 1 kg of huge shrimp 1000 lire. Large oysters for 100 lire per 1 piece or 350 lire per 1 kg
