The food is definitely worth a try!! Enchanting presentation, delicious and beautifully cooked, very atmospheric and original, the idea of the owners is excellent! But the service and the organization are a wild horror …
We went to Lida to practically visit this institution, and a tourist route was already planned for it. The table was booked 3 weeks in advance, as according to the administrator there was nothing before.
Before visiting the restaurant, we visited the museum, and for all 2 hours we watched the semi-empty terrace, when asked if there were free tables, they answered no, whether it was possible to come to us earlier, too. As a result, we arrived an hour earlier, we were placed on a half-empty terrace, although the table was reserved inside. We sat for 3 hours, but not a single table was so busy before closing, neither with armor, nor with random visitors. The waiter's service ends at the serving of dishes, and then the waiters spend all their time in the backyard of the establishment noisy and fun. The background music ended at 22:00 because the speaker sat down and there was no wire, and then the music from the special banquet inside the institution. Sitting in an authentic restaurant in the castle under the "Verka Serdyuchka" is a so-so pleasure.

The kitchen is very tasty and appetizing. The service is fast and helpful (helped with the selection of tinctures and tea). The waiters are very nice and pleasant. The serving of the dishes is quite interesting and fascinating. The atmosphere makes you imagine that you are celebrating the anniversary of your mother in the Middle Ages. Everything is so saturated with history and soul that I don't want to leave.
Gooseberry tea is insanely delicious and cheese ice cream is also definitely worth a try

Yesterday, my family and I visited the tavern. It is very cozy and atmospheric! Drinks are fire! Blueberry tincture is simply a masterpiece! The service is at the highest level. We ordered the famous ribs - it's just super tasty! The borscht company was impressed by both the presentation and the taste! But my pot of paletsempihan sausage, potatoes and wild mushrooms just disappointed. Cold. There was no smell of finger sausage. There was just no pot.

Delight! We booked a table strongly in advance, as recommended! The building is a stylized wooden house in the courtyard of the Lida Castle, comfortable rooms inside and a beautiful summer terrace. Medieval music sounds in the background, waiters in national attire. The food and beer are beyond praise. The bull's rib is just a fairy tale! The serving of dishes is also very aesthetic and hygienic - homemade sausage, cheeses, meat cuts are not directly on a wooden board, but on waxed paper substrates. The portions are very decent. We couldn't handle everything, the leftovers were packed in cardboard containers. We bought two bottles of tincture as a keepsake. By the way, the price tag for everything is very adequate

The interior is well-designed, I just believed that this is how the tavern should look in historical retrospect)).
The waiters and waitresses are all students, quite cultured, trying to do as they were taught. They really want to sell their tinctures. This desire is very noticeable when ordering. The young man who was our waiter talked very enthusiastically about the entire range. It was very strange to see such inspiration from an obviously excellent student. But this is not a question for him, but for the leadership. And it's not even a question. It's just weird when apparently decent and non-drinking sophomore students are so actively promoting booze. It is necessary for the management to hire some special Pan Nalivaiko for booze promotion. The guard at the entrance to the castle will be just right. The texture and manner of communication are very suitable.

The restaurant is located inside the castle. A colorful place, lovers of delicious and big food, then you are here). A very interesting presentation of dishes as a side dish and alcohol - I will not tell you). The prices are surprisingly reasonable.
The staff is young and polite.
The atmosphere and interior immerse you in the past centuries (armor and chain mail)).

My colleagues and I had lunch at the Kumpyak Tavern before the tour of the castle and had a great pleasure!
Stylized interior, very tasty food, drinks and medieval music!
It was like we were in that time.
And the cheesecakes that hadn't been eaten (they just didn't fit, there was so much and everything else was delicious) were carefully wrapped up for us.

Judging by the reviews, we were incredibly lucky to visit the restaurant without reservation on Saturday evening.
Of the advantages:
1) Authentic atmosphere starting from the setting and music, ending with the waiters' clothes and serving dishes
2) Food. Incredibly tasty, large portions, we couldn't handle it and they kindly wrapped us up)
3) The staff. Knowledge of the history of the dishes, charismatic presentation of each of them, there are 5 points without a doubt.
Of the cons:
1) After serving all the main dishes, our and neighboring tables on the terrace were simply forgotten. We waited for the last additional order in the form of tincture for more than 20 minutes and another count of 15 minutes. The bill was provided after we came to the counter ourselves and offered to pay)
2) The request to transfer us from the terrace to the hall, if possible, was ignored due to the rather cool evening, although people left and no more new visitors appeared. And even the blankets were found only 30 minutes later, although it was obvious that they were free.

We were at the tavern on Saturday. A very cool, interesting and original place. An unusual menu, delicious food, and the serving is almost a fire show. So they brought us amazing ribs, as if they were under chocolate. There was a special sweet and sour sauce. As far as I know, it is considered aerobatics in gastronomy when several flavors are combined in one dish at the same time.
The cocktails are delicious. The names of the cocktails are also unusual. "Hunchback Andrew." There's also some kind of liqueur, or tincture called "Pan Jerzy".
Definitely worth a visit, the only thing that everyone understands is the tavern about food. Come with your family or friends to have a delicious dinner. The music there is background entertainment - an interesting serving of dishes and the bartender sometimes pampers visitors with stories about food.
The place looks like the Middle Ages, and the bar counter is stylized like a witch's corner. Very, very curious.
There was one drawback: sour beer was brought, but the truth was immediately taken away as soon as we paid attention to it, everything else is fine

Dear friends! Well, honestly, working like this is just something unique. It's great that you host organized groups every day, but objectively there is simply nowhere to eat delicious food in your glorious city. One restaurant Lida beer and you. It is very unwise to leave four days a week off for a full day. There is a suggestion - open the doors on all days at least after 18 o'clock. And you will have both groups and ordinary visitors. Maybe we'll be lucky enough to get to your cashier somehow, but we'll tell our friends about the specifics of the Lead about cafes and restaurants. Change for the better. But seriously, this is the rare case when everything coincided - the place, the service, the service, the atmosphere. We don't visit Lida often, but the Kumpyak Tavern will be the number one reason to visit the city more often. Friends from Kaliningrad will arrive soon, we will bring them there for lunch. Delight and appreciation! I definitely recommend you to visit. Very tasty, cozy, atmospheric. We were part of a tour group, had lunch and breakfast. National dishes, game snacks. I really liked it. Our child is moody in food, but she ate everything here, and even asked for it.

There's no one, what's the problem with making breakfast for two?? Answer: "we have tourist groups, we cook for them." Але ёсць мінусы ў абслугоўванні - афіцыянт Артур (напэўна. было напісана ў чэке) не назваў сваё імя; спытаўся як нам страва, якую яшчэ не прынеслі (больш не пытаўся ні ў каго ні пра адну страву); спытаўся пасля разліку ці патрэбная рэшта. На стале было толькі тры сурвэткі ў сурвэтніцы.

Отлично провели вечер, попробывали всяких вкусностей по оригинальным рецептам. Большой выбор различный коктейлей, настоек и наливок как для девочек, так и для мальчиков.
Ресторан находится прямо на территории Лидского замка.
Единственный и существенный минус - работает только 3 дня (пятница, суббота, воскресенье). А жаль... В сезон посмотреть на лидские достопримечательности приезжает много туристов и порадовать себя любимого гастрономическими изысками среди недели не так уж много вариантов.
Идея ресторана хорошая, реализация достойная.
НАСТОЯТЕЛЬНО РЕКОМЕНДУЮ!!!!

08/17/2024 we visited this institution with a tour of the castle. Lunch was ordered for 15 people. The dinner was disgusting and that's not enough to say.... The ear was almost cold with bones and peppercorns (there were 16 of them in my plate), for one serving of the second there was one and a half salted and rubber pancakes with meat. On the third, mors and kvass with a cake were offered. Glasses had to be begged from the waiters. And all this happiness cost 20 rubles. In general, the cake turned out to be very tasty))) Don't waste money in this place, there are many decent cafes with delicious food nearby.

I would not just recommend visiting this place, but I would make you do it. The staff is good, they help with all issues. We were with a child of 1.7 m, so the cook came into the hall, asked what the child was eating and offered different options that were not even on the menu, which is a special thank you to the cook, otherwise the food, serving, atmosphere, music, decor is just super.
As for the price, I would say that it is lower than in other Lida establishments, and the serving of dishes, their history, and the atmosphere in the institution are much better than in others.

То, каким должно быть настоящее историческое кафе.
Атмосферное.
По еде - все отлично. Некоторые блюда никогда не ел. Вкусно. Повар молодец.
Официанты - вежливые, внимательные. Про блюда рассказывают интересно, а не "это мясо, это картошка". Очень хорошее место. Накормили с антуражем
