Where is the story?
We had dinner last night, we made excellent reservations, everything was great, we were looking forward to a wonderful evening and delicious food.
At first glance, it was hard not to notice that something had changed in the institution since last year.
The level of service deteriorated, we made the same order several times because the waiters forgot about us and our order, asked for the bill several times, a very long wait for everything, they began to prepare the table next to us, as a result, for 5 minutes there were different parts of the employee's body near our face: while she was laying the tablecloth I put pillows on the table, and did other preparatory activities from scratch.
Menu: History has always been a place with delicious food and an interesting menu, small, clear, compact.
Now this menu is so ... old, with pictures, as if I went to a chain store in some shopping center, some dishes were not on the menu, the waiters did not warn about it in advance.
It is also impossible to charge the phone, there is no possibility, since the good old powerbanks do not work, I asked to put them on the bar, too, it is impossible, they offered to leave them there somewhere in the institution.
And also, the summer playground, so sad, with cobwebs on the chandelier, there was a feeling not of a modern cozy place, but of something old, a little fading and abandoned, now this is a normal place, but it was good.

An excellent atmospheric cafe in the Provence style. The interior is pretentious, there is a grand piano, calm background music. The menu is very varied, there is even an octopus. Prices are much lower than in Minsk. We had a great time. I can recommend this place

Good day! Visited this apparition. The overall picture is not bad, the manager is trying, but there is a nuance in the staff: how well they smile until the management leaves, and then the face becomes dull and tired. I went into the establishment and was told directly that everything was busy and I felt like a beggar, or maybe an untidy, or even an unattractive man. But that didn't stop me, I was in a good mood, I reminded them that I had a table reserved. Then we sat at the table for 15 minutes, despite the fact that the load was 25%, and the waiter did not come. Until I went up to the bar myself and commented on how they greeted us and served us, they didn't move. In general, the cuisine for such a city is not bad enough, which is why I put 3. I got the impression of food thrown on the table. I will think about my next visit to this institution. I hope something will change in the service.

We visited this place with the hope of a pleasant dinner, but got a full-fledged quest.
Carbonara hair-apparently the chef decided to add an exclusive ingredient. I hope it was his hair and not the previous client's.
Dirty dishes-apparently the mission to 'wash the plate' was too difficult for the staff. There was an art object made of dried sauce from last week on our plates.
The service- the waiter, apparently, went to a parallel universe for our orders. We waited so long that we managed to learn Chinese.
In general, if you want to test your nerves and find out what a culinary horror looks like, this is the place for you! 10/10

Not a bad cafe in general. But they don't know how to serve a customized banquet quickly and efficiently. Salads are served on the table. No spoons, no plates, no glasses. You ask for everything. Sometimes they forgot, sometimes they took a long time. Managers do not work with the client, with the staff. So it turns out. As I understand it, there are not enough waiters. Although the cafe is fully occupied in the evening. You can hire for Saturday, or let the manager help. The plates are not cleaned after the appetizers. You collect everything yourself. It is not clear why such prices for purchased juices and water are 4 times higher than the store's prices. These are not cooked fruit drinks and fresh fruit. Oh, 5 liters of water costs 4 rubles. 1 liter of juice is 16 rubles. At the same time, coffee costs 4 rubles, Caesar salad 18. Prices are strangely formed for own production and purchased products. We usually order meat, and it gets drier and tougher each time. Minions don't know how to cook at all. Once they forgot to set a banquet at all. The guests were waiting. This is not acceptable for an institution of this level. Moreover, there are fewer people during the day than in the evening. The rating, of course, is too high in our opinion. The prices are not small and the work needs to be improved. Take into account wishes and reviews. The cafe risks losing its good reputation. I would not like to. But at the same time, this is the best restaurant in Bobruisk for family events and just dinners. Cozy, spacious, no kitchen smell. I wish you success and pay attention to the comments!

I'm changing the score to -1. The establishment is the same, but the level has decreased. The price of drinks has increased in 3.5 years in relation to the increase in food prices. It's sad. If the "Story" was the same as 3-4 years ago, then I would not have said a word. However, I condemn it now. Sometimes the different serving of dishes was confusing (for example, they ordered a cheese plate 2 times with an interval of 2 hours and received completely different designs with different additional ingredients). I can't say that we were sad about it, but it doesn't add status to the institution. This place is worth a visit.

I advise everyone to visit this place. The menu is very diverse, there are national dishes. And everything is very tasty, the products are fresh, the sauces are well selected. Dessert is not sweet, you don't often find it where sugar has not been shifted. The interior is interestingly designed in the Provence style. Thank you.

The place is insanely atmospheric and pleasant. The service and the atmosphere are very decent, and the prices are not so high. The only thing that is a little upsetting is the dishes themselves. Perhaps it was just that the cook was not so good. Or there is a drawdown on the products, but the dishes themselves are 4. They are good and tasty. But! it feels like they were cooking dishes from what they have. And not as it should be from what's on the menu. On the other hand, they cook very soon and you don't notice the time at all, since there is something to entertain before serving!!! For such a small price, this is a huge plus for such a place.
I will be happy to come again to make sure that it was just the wrong cook or I ran out of food.

2) Service. It's the same situation again: we eat a hot dish and bring out a dessert with ice cream. Is this normal? What should I do? He will drop the main course and eat dessert, as long as the chocolate does not freeze and the ice cream does not melt. Or watch it melt?
Well, just the synthesis of these two situations became the point of no return. We returned the carbonara (because it is impossible to eat it), we are waiting for a new portion. Dessert is served instead of carbonara. Well, thanks for telling Carbonara later. A question about History: is this normal?

We took caesar salad, roast beef salad, carbonara and spaghetti with shrimp. The shrimp are huge! And very tasty. The prices are adequate. The interior is romantic, the atmosphere is pleasant. The staff is friendly. I liked the paper napkin under the plates the most, there was a crossword puzzle that will help you brighten up the waiting time. We didn't wait very long. I highly recommend this restaurant.

A stylish cafe in the center of Bobruisk with an interesting cuisine. On Saturday evening, we caught live music, the girl sang very beautifully. Everything is fine, but one fat minus negates all the atmosphere - a very long service. We were there twice- had dinner and had lunch the next day. If we were in no hurry in the evening, then the next day, when we came to lunch, we were shocked by the long wait for the dishes. The dishes were taken out not sequentially, but as they were cooked, i.e. first the second was brought, then the soup, and at the end the salad. My simplest salad arrived in an hour!!!! Cocktail- about 40 minutes later, when I reminded the waitress more than once. I still don't understand what the problem is. Perhaps there are some problems with logistics in the kitchen, perhaps the forgetfulness of the waiters. It's a pity, the cafe is very atmospheric. And it's better to come there when you're not in a hurry and have enough free time.

A new menu has recently been updated and we can say that we are increasingly returning to the best gourmet place in our city.
And what a Luxurious tartar, the tenderest Ossobuco steak, pumpkin soup.
Even a child asks, if you need to order food, it is from this cafe.
The service is at the highest level, the staff is very competent, will solve any issue, will help in a comfortable menu selection.
Thank you for such a worthy place with the most delicious cuisine in our city.

Salmon tartare is a mess of fish and cucumbers, the worst serving ever seen.
Waiting for vegetables for 40+ minutes is probably the norm.
Mussels are tasteless.

We visited the restaurant with my husband and there was no "wow" effect (it would seem that is required from the restaurant). Absolutely mediocre food, at this rate they could have dinner in the dining room. The usual service. Beef tartare would be interesting if they hadn't served pieces of an ordinary loaf, there are a lot of potatoes on the menu, the Greek salad was very surprised - they would have thrown at least parsley for beauty. Traveling around Belarus, we stopped in the wonderful city of Bobruisk. We chose the restaurant "History" for dinner and did not regret it for a minute!
The dishes are cooked very tasty and of high quality, good portions and quite reasonable prices. I really liked the Caesar salad, pasta with shrimp and chicken noodle soup.
The restaurant itself is very beautifully decorated, and there is a beaver sitting at the entrance, with whom you can take pictures. The staff is very friendly and courteous, the service is fast enough.

In the kitchen: the salad is normal, the filet mignon refused to be dried on the outside, the roasting is normal inside.
The meat was served on a parabolic plate, on which, while you are cutting, the plate tends to turn over and dump the contents onto the table or the eater.
The tablecloths are dirty. Including on the next table, which stood under the armor - there the leftovers of the previous guests were waiting for visitors. Apparently, this is a compliment from the institution.
The tea mug was also badly washed.
The service was inept: the waiter calculated before reviewing the bill, in addition, there was free gum in the bill - it was not given out, apparently, they were taking it home.
In short, there is a chance to eat normally - the food was not bad, but the chance of getting dirty appliances or poor service is high in my opinion.
If you, like us, were in the city for the first time, try other places.

We visited this wonderful institution on November 11. We chose it based on high ratings and good reviews. As a result - a complete disappointment. Even despite the fact that there were not many visitors in the cafe, we caught the waiter and waited constantly, even made a remark (after the remark, however, we were given a button to call the waiter (I recommend)). According to the menu:
1. Stey salad (very good, but why there is a small slicing of cucumber, I did not understand, I did not like the cucumber in this form)
2. Frying pan with chicken in cream sauce (everything is delicious except potatoes - I generally got the impression that the potatoes in this dish were not cooked today (i.e. cooked yesterday or even the day before yesterday, and today cut and baked).
3. Anna Pavlova - for the first time she ate Pavlova, which needs to be gnawed.
4. Chocolate fondue with ice cream and cherry sauce - I returned this "masterpiece" to the kitchen. The cook should be ashamed of such a fondue - in fact, it was a cupcake of not the best quality with MILK glaze. If the chef of this institution is not aware - a distinctive feature of this dessert is a hard crispy shell and a filling of bitter (dark) chocolate.
5. On the cafe's website and at the entrance, the opening hours of the institution are indicated until 2.00, but at 00.55 we were asked to leave, referring to the winter schedule.
There are no complaints about the bar .
I definitely do not recommend this institution and just wonder who gives such ratings

From the negative :
1) the food is full of slag, I do not know how the canteens and bistros in this city managed to eat tastier, but we ordered: Greek, steak, 2 cocktails, solyanka. The hodgepodge consisted of milk sausages and tasteless broth, I put the hodgepodge 0 out of 10, well, it really tasteless. Greek salad for 500 rubles without dressing, salt and pepper, cheap Feta and olives the size of a little finger - caused sadness and longing, I put the salad 2 out of 10. Mango passion fruit non-alcoholic cocktail consisting of soda and syrup also caused a storm of emotions, for this price you can add a concentrate or mashed fruit. Well, the expectation of a steak at 1.5 hours and the lack of information - about a delay or a request to wait....
2) The waiter was clearly annoyed by my questions and the smile was strained
3) The receipt was brought without removing the position - the steak, probably they wanted us to pay for it
4) The staff did not have any compliment or desire to correct negative impressions
In this institution, they do not work for quality and they do not have the task to do everything possible to leave you with a pleasant impression of the room
The service is at zero. The management should pay attention to this complaint and work it out!
