The hotel was included in my personal list of top places. New Athos itself is not a big city, there are literally two main streets, so there is nothing much to write about the location - the hotel is just in the city center. 5 minutes to the sea, 5 minutes to the caves. But what is worth dwelling on is the friendliness and warmth with which they were welcomed, settled, and fed. A large terrace with a cafe provides a special comfort and warmth. While you're having breakfast, you can enjoy the views and coffee, meet new interesting people, and meet the staff. The appearance of the hotel and its territory deserve my highest appreciation.

We were in the middle of September. The hotel is cozy, centrally located, next to the sea. Very good breakfasts. Thanks to Eric and Tengiz.Delicious coffee in Turkey(100 rubles) They can fry the meat after 17 hours. Eliza, always smiling at the reception, will answer any questions and requests. The hotel is 4 years old, there are not big problems with the water pressure in the morning, I heard. We didn't come across it ourselves, we lived on the first floor, where there is a terrace. I didn't have enough bedside lamps and the water in the sink was draining a little slowly. A building is being built next to it, but the finishing work is already inside, so there was no dust or noise. View of the Anakopian fortress, cows walking, palm trees, green, cozy.Not a big clean heated pool.It is a very worthy option for Abkhazia. The beaches in Mount Athos are worse (in my opinion) than in Gagra, the pebbles are larger, less cozy, the pier is scary, and the garbage is lying somewhere. But you can take an umbrella with palm leaves and ice caps (for 1000 rubles for two), or a sunbed for 300 rubles.

A cozy and modern hotel, located 2 minutes walk from the center and 5 minutes from the sea. Nevertheless, it is calm and quiet here. The surrounding area is beautiful and well maintained. All attractions are within walking distance. For breakfast, they offer simple, familiar dishes: porridge, sausages, fried eggs, vegetables. You can order food for dinner. The food is delicious! The pool is clean and deep! There is a special shallow "tub" built into the common bowl for toddlers. The staff is friendly and helpful! When asking for help, we are always ready to help! The best hotel! A beautiful territory with gorgeous landscaping, a swimming pool with comfortable cool water, perfect cleanliness everywhere, and most importantly - silence , although the hotel is located in the center, within walking distance of the New Athos caves , Monastery , Waterfall and beach in 10 minutes walking distance. Of course, the charming receptionist Nadezhda is the face of the Hotel, inspiring confidence that there are no unsolvable tasks in the Loft Hotel, from booking, accommodation to "just talking." A very pleasant girl , sensitive to vacationers . A light and varied breakfast is provided by two young people, they have excellent semolina porridge! We wish prosperity to the hotel! Keep it up ! Good afternoon, everyone, my family and I have been vacationing at this hotel since September 15, 2025 for the second year in a row. There is no better place in Abkhazia. The city of New Athos itself is small, but there are a lot of attractions, cozy and quiet. The hotel is located in a very beautiful location under Iverskaya Gora, within walking distance of all attractions. The hotel is new, clean, and very pleasant. The breakfasts are good, and the dishes on the grill are delicious in the evening. The staff is very wonderful. The main feature of the hotel is a heated swimming pool. I highly recommend it to everyone. Believe me, my review is honest. And this year, a resident raccoon appeared, a joy for children. Scooters, cars, and toys in the pool are provided for children.

Check-in was at 15:00, not at 14:00, because we arrived in a downpour and were soaked through, this waiting time was not the most pleasant. 2. The room is spacious, BUT there is only one hook in the bathroom, there is nowhere to hang towels. The room itself has one common chandelier/ceiling light, and a light switch at the front door. Well, there weren't enough bedside lamps, although there are sockets, and I think they used to be. 3. Breakfast items... I recommend that you just give them up, there are a lot of cafes nearby, just believe me. 4. A hotel is being built nearby and hammered every day, you will not have a rest during the day, it is relevant for the beginning of November, but I do not think that it will be completed by the summer. The noise is even through the windows. 5. since the hotel is on the mountain, there is a second floor on one side and a ground floor on the other. That is, we took the second floor, but really, from the entrance where the reception is, it's the first one, so who will have the first one, it will be -1, or basement, the view in the photo. Of the advantages: Sea nearby, monastery nearby, waterfall A heated swimming pool is a big plus.

Loft Hotel, Abkhazia (vacation in September 2025) Externally, the hotel looks stylish — with a touch of English aristocracy. The territory is well maintained, the rooms are nice, everything is quite cozy. But, unfortunately, the advantages mostly end there. If you take a room with a "beautiful view", be prepared that there is a construction site nearby — the noise lasts until the evening. And in the evening, as it turned out, the children of the hotel owners arrange noisy games and football right on the premises — until midnight. No one responds to requests to turn down the volume. According to the rules, bed linen is changed only on the fifth day, and a fine is provided for any stain (the price list is in place, the amounts are quite large). There is a lady at the reception who can't answer almost any questions, but makes comments to the guests. Bathrobes and towels are washed, they are extremely reluctant to change them. The pool seemed to be heated, but the water temperature was low — it was cold to swim, especially in bad weather. One of the advantages is breakfast. They are prepared by two young men, one of them Tangiz — very friendly, they do everything with their hearts, it's nice to start the day with their smiles and delicious food. In general, the hotel has potential, but so far the service and attitude towards the guests clearly do not correspond to the declared level.

Great hotel. All the hotel staff are friendly and hospitable. We are grateful to Nadezhda, the hotel manager, for her professionalism, sensitivity, and always eager to help. The room was cleaned every other day, that was enough. The hotel and the room are clean, with high-quality renovation. There is a kettle, appliances, dishes, refrigerator, tea with sugar. The breakfasts were delicious, there was enough of everything. We also often had dinner at the hotel. The view from the cafe is amazing: the Anakopian fortress, the mountains and the Ferris wheel. Especially in the evening, with the backlight, it's impressive. The pool has clean and warm water, it was constantly cleaned when we were there. Next time, I'd like to stop here. I recommend it!

The hotel has an excellent location, close to all the attractions, can be reached on foot. We had a rest in early July, quickly checked into the room, the room has everything for a comfortable stay, everything is clean, cleaning was done every day, water was also brought, not every hotel has such a service. A wonderful receptionist, Nadezhda, is very friendly, responds quickly to requests, I really enjoyed communicating with her from the moment of booking the room to the end of our stay, beyond all praise. The breakfasts are varied, there was something new every day, Eric and Tengo, thank you very much for the delicious breakfasts and morning good mood, very friendly guys. The water temperature in the pool is very comfortable, the pool is clean, there is a backlight in the evening and, what I liked, it works from early morning until late evening, it's great to swim after evening walks. There was no OS, maybe I saw a couple of them, but according to the reviews I thought there would be a lot, I collected funds from the OS-they were not useful. I can't even write about the disadvantages, we haven't found them. We have vacationed a lot of places and there is something to compare it with. This is real hospitality. ❤️ The hotel itself — aesthetics in detail: old brick, cozy rooms, great new furniture, wooden deck chairs by the pool, delicious breakfasts with the sound of foliage. And all this in a beautiful corner of Abkhazia — New Athos. A cave, a monastery, a fortress, waterfalls, the sea, a train station overlooking the bay — everything is nearby, everything lives. He is also very photogenic and you can easily shoot here. LOFT — we will definitely come back.

We visited this hotel in December 2025. Interesting hotel, large rooms, excellent renovation. The room has everything you need for your stay. Mattress is a fairy tale, smart TV, YouTube, and more. Standard+ breakfasts, you definitely won't stay hungry. But I have one question for almost all hotels in the Russian Federation, and this one is no exception: why is there no hygienic shower? Nice new cozy hotel. The room has air conditioning, refrigerator, kettle, 2 large plates, table knives and forks, mugs, glasses. There are 4 hangers in the locker, there are shelves in the closet and 2 bedside tables. In the shower: shower gel, shampoo, soap, air freshener, decent laminated paper. There are no brushes or paste. On request, white waffle bathrobes are provided, they are convenient to go to the pool in. From the pool there is a view of the mountain with the Anakopian fortress. You can swim until 22.00. There are benches, tables and other cozy lounge areas on the territory - in the evening there is a place to sit. The breakfasts are not very varied, but sufficient and without risk to health. You can buy delicious tangerine juice in a restaurant for 100 rubles, it's worth it!

There were no power outages during our vacation. Everything worked fine! Responsive staff. I would like to mention the administrator Marina, pleasant, always ready to help. In the restaurant you can order various dishes, carbonara, caesar salad, glisse coffee, oriental, etc., tiramisu, the cook cooks very tasty. Always positive, friendly. Every day the garbage was cleaned, fresh bottled water was brought, and every other day (or two) linen and towels were changed. Wifi is only weak, but maybe we lived in a room where the Internet did not always get there.. 7 minutes walk to the sea. We had a great rest. We did not regret choosing this hotel!

We had a rest in June at the Loft Hotel. I really liked everything. The hotel is new, modern (which is rare in Abkhazia), decent, well-maintained. They took a long time to register at the reception, allegedly today the Internet began to work poorly, but from past reviews we realized that it does not work here. The room is nice, clean, but not cozy, gray wallpaper and a couple of light bulbs, no shelves or other utensils. The bed smells rotten, they wash it without powder, when asked to replace it, they said once every three days. The bed is comfortable, but creaky. Breakfast is a separate miracle, they cook in the evening, so who wrote that at 10 everything is cold, I will tell you that at 9 everything is also cold, there is nothing to eat, a couple of porridges, an omelet or scrambled eggs, there were sausages and pancakes or casserole for a week, coffee is paid, wasps are free. The menu with prices is like in an elite restaurant in Moscow. The longyland cocktail is poured with apple juice instead of cola, when asked why, they answered that the cola was over. Electricity is cut off every day, maybe for 5 minutes, maybe for an hour. In general, as a tourist you can visit, as a vacationer there is nothing to do, all the beauty has been bypassed in two days, otherwise there is ruin, mess, unsanitary conditions and a boorish attitude when something is not according to you. Take rehydrone, phosphalgel and enteresgel with you.

There is a peculiar smell in the room, as well as in the hotel itself. It was not possible to sleep with the windows open, since they lived on the ground floor, and the territory was not fenced. View of the parking lot, nearby builders are building a neighboring building. Parking is a pile of construction debris, there is a risk of a broken wheel. Wi-Fi is almost not working. Breakfast is weak. It is better to arrive on time to see its presence. The bed in room 103 is super squeaky. The light is turned on by 1 switch, there is neither a sconce nor a small light. In the cafe at the hotel in the evening, the waiting time for the dish was 1:30, and when the dishes were brought, they had already cooled down. The potatoes are cold, the kebab is barely warm. These are disadvantages, but in general a normal hotel if you finish the little things. It is clear that the staff is trying, and they do not care. so everything will get better. Ps. They were in October 2024. We booked it quickly. I really liked the hotel, modern expensive renovation, landscaped area with a swimming pool. Beautiful planted plants. The room had a terrace overlooking the Athos Monastery. Parking nearby. Friendly and helpful staff. It is clear that the owner has invested his soul! Everything is fine. 5-7 minutes to the sea. A pool with warm water. I heartily recommend it!

A very great place!!! The hotel is very comfortable. Quietly, calmly. The area is cozy, the pool is beautiful, especially after walking. The rooms are large and cozy. Gorgeous beds, 2 pillows each, everything is clean! There are little things like towels and bathrobes, but they promise to put a drying machine, because of the humidity they do not have time to dry out. We visited this hotel for the first time in October 2025, and we liked everything except for the huge number of bees in the dining room and kitchen. Vacationers don't seem to notice these insects, they're everywhere... in jam, in porridge, on fruits, they fly right in the face. It was wild, the child was scared, in order to take something from the table, you need to drive away the bee. The pool is very cool and the raccoon that lives there!
