We slept like the dead, the beds were comfortable, the bed was clean and the towels were clean too, we changed them twice, the kettle was in the room, we went to eat across the street at the Mama Mia cafe, the cafe really cooks at home and the prices are reasonable. We had a rest from 07/24/25 to 08/01/25 in a quadruple room. The room is nice, clean, cozy, and unstoppable. They clean up every day and bring a new trash bag and a roll of toilet paper every day. We changed towels every three days and changed the bed linen once during our rest period. The towels and bed linen are snow-white, unwashed, and fresh, and it's nice to sleep on them and dry off. The room was on the second floor. There is no cafe or lounge on the first floor. It wasn't hard to get up to the room - there weren't many stairs. The only negative is the lack of a balcony. In this regard, it is not convenient to dry clothes and towels. It can be dried on the 4th floor on the veranda, which is reached via a bunch of stairs. We tried it once and dried it in the room in the bathroom on a heated towel rail and on the cabinet doors. The room has a conder, a refrigerator, a hairdryer and a TV. There's almost no freezer in the fridge- ice cream won't fit. But it wasn't critical for us. The TV was constantly malfunctioning- the signal was lost. This was very unpleasant, especially when they caught the rotovirus with the children and were sitting in the room. The children's cartoon channel Carousel did not take at all. Very unexpectedly, there was nothing to occupy the children. There is a cafe on the ground floor. The sea is very close. Literally just around the corner, which is very convenient. A stream flowed nearby. We went further - there are also streams periodically. The depth is immediately good. That is, you can't swim very far for children. But we had circles and mattresses. I was surprised that the sightseeing ships with their advertisements go straight to the swimmers. The beach is semi-wild. We didn't see any changing rooms or toilets-they were probably further away. But since the room was just around the corner, we were fine. There are sun beds with umbrellas for 300 rubles. There are pebbles on the beach. It is better to go with aquashouses, which, by the way, can be bought nearby for 400-450r. Overall, it's very good. Near the hotel there are pharmacies, tents with souvenirs, fruits, supermarkets. It takes 15-20 minutes to walk slowly to the Ferris wheel and the central embankment. In this area, unlike novaya Gagra, it is quiet and not noisy. There's a hospital nearby, by the way. Thank God we managed without her. In general, we were very satisfied with everything. Thanks to the hosts very much. We arrived earlier than check-out time and were allowed into the room. When we left, the train was later, and since the new tenants moved in only the next day, we were allowed to leave the room three hours later than the check-out time. Very nice, decent hosts and all the staff. The next time we go to Abkhazia, we will come to the same hotel. The nature around is amazing, the most beautiful mountains, the clearest, transparent sea, azure water, fish are visible. The view from the hotel is awesome. The location is great

The room had a dark floor and furniture, and when we got out of the transfer, there was a huge trash can next to the hotel, which was a shock. But the next morning everything was gone, the view from the terrace covered all the disadvantages. It was cleaned several times, linen was changed every three days, a common corridor every day at 7 a.m., water, light, always. There's a cafe downstairs where it's delicious but expensive, and we went to Rosemary's. The terrace, this is love, the view of the mountain at sunrise and sunset, to the point of tears. I would like to return, yes. The guys played at the stadium a couple of times, it was interesting to watch. The flight was at night, the owner agreed, no extra charge!!! And extended it until departure.

We lived in 2 rooms (with relocation), the floor was not washed in the 1st. Every morning they cleaned up the trash and provided a roll of paper (and this is really important in Gagra!) The hotel has its own dining room. Good, delicious cuisine. High-quality food. The price is a little too high. One of the disadvantages is that a fetid river flows not far away and straight into the sea, because of it we had to go further along the beach. Although this did not help to avoid the "gagra virus".))

We had a rest from July 26 to August 3, 2025. The hotel was recommended by a travel agency as almost the best in the whole of Gagra. Upon arrival, I was met by a small bald man, neither hello, nor goodbye, nor what is his name, nor who he is, nothing....He took the money, handed over the cards from the door, without even escorting me to the room, he only told me where to go. Look for yourself...and to get to the 4th floor is another quest!!!!! When they left, no one came out either, they left their cards on the counter and left... We still did not understand where the Abkhazian hospitality was. The maids, whenever they come in, day or night, they lie in their beds watching TV shows. Their job was only to pick up a bag of trash in the morning, give them a new bag and a roll of toilet paper. No one cleaned anything (as they say on the website, wet cleaning every 3 days). The rooms are very, very small and designed for one double bed, and if the room is 3-bedded, then a small ottoman is crammed in, for a 7-year-old child, and not for an adult. All the beds and ottomans creak terribly, you can't turn around. Our window overlooked the stadium, where boys played soccer and shouted every night. The walls are thin, like cardboard, in the morning, when everyone starts to leave the rooms, you can hear all the neighboring doors knocking and slapping. Everything is more expensive in the cafe downstairs than in the city. There is no kitchen for cooking, just a kettle, a microwave, a couple of plates and forks. In general, we didn't like the hotel itself - for such money!!! The only plus is that it's close to the sea, and there's a drain, maybe even a sewer, and we all caught the rotovirus, so the child had to be taken to the hospital for an IV drip. We won't go any more - that's 100%

A clean guest house, a hotel, even I would say. In 2 weeks, the bed linen was changed 3 times, towels are changed every few days and the floor is wiped. There are necessary shops and canteens nearby. We took accommodation with meals (breakfast, dinner), but then refused, it was monotonous for us and did not fit the time. Upon refusal, we were refunded the money. Who likes porridges and cereals - you will like it! Very tasty compotes!! I take off the star for the location: we expected that we would be on line 1, but in fact the hotel nearby has a drain from the city, it smells very much of sewage , so every day we went away along the shore for half a kilometer for sure… Cleaners start clanking mops in the hallway early in the morning, it is very audible in the rooms, the Internet is not stable (Wi-Fi) is constantly shut down.

After a couple of days, most started vomiting and diarrhea. They said that the water in the sea is not clean, something is being drained there. The food is simple, the same every week for 10 days is what you need. The most important thing is that there is always light and hot water, since Levon has his own generator. All the vacationers envied us. A big plus for a room without a balcony, a hot towel dryer, there is no smell of dampness in the shower and the linen dries very quickly. The proximity of the sea is cosmic, from the room to the sea 2 minutes 35 seconds. Everything is within walking distance - shops, pharmacies and shopping malls. There is a cafe in the mandarin itself, everything is fresh, hot, delicious and fast serving. I also recommend the cafe "Maria", it is not far away, towards staraya Gagra. Next to the house, the stadium, my husband watched football right from the veranda. There are two washing machines, its only powder. We liked everything, we are happy with the rest. You can keep silent about the small rooms or the shower, which is 2 by 2 meters, but the fact that the toilet literally does not work here…When you come to the reception to ask, "what should I do?", we got an answer: "just knock on it." The man became ill at night, no one was on duty, and those maids who were there did not even have Abkhaz SIM cards and could not call an ambulance, they told him to take a taxi. Thank God, the hospital is nearby. There is 1 washing machine, a shared kettle, and a dryer only on the terrace. They said that the owner was hospitable, as a result, at the first words we just got "give me the money." The Internet catches normally on the first 3 floors. At 4 50/50, there is no terrace at all. The maids probably didn't study simple math, once in a room with three beds and three sets of towels, they give out 2. For the first 4 days, there wasn't a single cleaning, except for the question "should I take out the trash?" The view is also about nothing, next to us is a stadium where children are constantly screaming. Okay, kids, but here the walls are like cardboard, you can hear everyone who passes by or what they say. The bed creaks, and if you move, it feels like it's going to fall apart. 15 points of worthless rules, and if you break the dishes, they'll also take the money. I thought it was a bluff about the light, but everything turned out to be in Java, okay, turn it off at 3-4 a.m., but at 12 a.m. :/ There is a sewer nearby, if you take a sip of the sea with such sources, you will immediately lie down or end up in the hospital. In general, one advantage is that it is close to the sea, and that is more likely to the sewer system than to the sea itself)

On the top there is a small children's play area and tables for eating with a view of the mountains or the sea, because we were with a child, it was very convenient. We have been staying in Mandarin since 2017. The location is amazing. The sea is nowhere nearer. The beach is free at any time of the day. The cafe is great.
