Our compatriots decided to spend a rainy day in the malls, and when they left in the evening, the subway was closed, so there were no bridges, and people had to return to the hotel by car at night in knee-deep water. No tourists were warned about such a disaster. Some with children did not dare to walk 5 km to the hotel at night, they spent the night on a bench in the shopping center. About the hotel - we checked into a nice room in the evening with a view of the Sail and the bay. But at the reception they wanted to give us this room at first for an additional fee, the Russian girl at the reception decided the issue, since the room was already well paid. The room was not prepared for 4 people, the kettle did not work, the sofa was barely disassembled for children. I gave 4 dirhams and brought an iron with an ironing board. I am shocked that this hotel has such a high rating! I give two stars only for spacious rooms and a good breakfast. Otherwise, everything is disgusting: the rooms are poorly cleaned, the room service is simply disgusting. For example, the carpets look as if they have never been cleaned since the foundation of the hotel. After cleaning, they stupidly took away our towels and did not give us new ones. We could have at least left the old ones, but no, we were stupidly left without them. We had to ask for towels several times. The same goes for drinking water and tea bags. And the soap in the dispenser was not changed at all, although the cleaner promised. The elevators in the hotel work very strangely, they had to wait a long time. They also seem to be out of sync with each other. That is, imagine three elevators traveling in parallel and someone calls, for example, an elevator down on the 10th floor. So one of the three comes to him, but the other two then also stop, although the person has already left. As a result, an elevator ride is a constant useless stop.

I read the reviews before the trip and they helped a lot! Number five! 2 bedrooms, living room, 2 bathrooms, 2 balconies (38th floor). The service is unobtrusive: the towels were not left after cleaning, the water was not brought, and so on. On request, everything is brought, though not quickly (water, towels, bathrobes, slippers). The location is the main advantage that 30 meters from the entrance to the subway passage is fast and cool in summer. The breakfasts are simple, with an emphasis on local cuisine, but generally good. Watermelons and melons were in June. The pool is frankly small for such a large hotel, but if you really want to swim, there is an opportunity. Carrefour is a 15-minute walk away. We tried to walk to the sea in the morning - it didn't work out) the nearest beach Al Sufouh (40 min walk) was closed. We used a free transfer to the Outlet Mall - it's still a pleasure - an old bus collects people from 5-7 hotels and goes to the Mall (about an hour there, back faster). But there was something on sale in the Mall, much cheaper than in the Dubai Mall. It is convenient to use an ordinary city taxi, especially a large train - a family of 2 adults and 3 children (7-15 liters) all take sedans in a taxi without problems.
