This is a lovely museum, and for the first time we have come across such a skillful combination of historical artifacts in a minimum of space. And we were lucky to understand and experience this with the help of our guide, Nadezhda Kovalenko. The beautiful emotional narrative about the history of the region was downright fascinating, taking us back many years in the history of the city. Moreover, this impression was formed for all three generations of visitors to our small group. We thank all the museum staff and the city administration for supporting the memory of our ancestors.

We were passing through Volozhin in February 2025, visited the museum. The opening of the Easter egg exhibition was just there. We were given a guided tour. I would never have thought that we have such a variety of egg paintings. There are colored, black-and-white, various ornaments, patterns, and carvings on the shell, as well as on ceramics and wood. Different regions with their own traditions of painting. Of course, they also introduced us to the history of Volozhin, but it's better to visit this museum yourself, I won't tell you everything, and I don't have the same passion and knowledge as the museum staff. It's better to go to them.

A pleasant girl guide took us through all the expositions, told us interesting and involved stories, answered all questions that arose. She also advised me what else you can see in the city. The museum is neat, small, but cozy.
