A must-visit place in Tashkent. A wonderful assortment in the exhibition, illuminating a wide range of applied crafts. The oak tree in the yard is amazing. Charmingly pay attention!

Perhaps the best museum I've visited so far. Unlike the Temurid Museum, there are no guides here, but there is an electronic guide, which is sooo convenient. You scan the code, put on your headphones and went to study the history of applied art with Yourself. I highly recommend and recommend visiting

I really liked the museum! The first thing I want to note is that there is an audio guide. And the exhibits are beyond praise! The works of Uzbek craftsmen and craftsmen are impressive! What a needlework and talented people! And the staff here is very attentive and polite. I recommend this museum for viewing.

It's a nice place. We went with a guide. Everything is clean, there are overseers in every room. This museum is one of the most striking in Tashkent.

An excellent museum for exploring the types of applied arts and crafts of Uzbekistan. The mansion itself, in which the museum is located, is a separate attraction.

A small museum, the museum presents carpets, interior items, tableware, jewelry. Conveys the atmosphere of old Uzbekistan. There is a nice handmade souvenir shop on site.

There is an electronic guide, detailed stories about fabrics, patterns, compositions accompany the entire exposition, the museum is clean and tidy, there is a souvenir shop in the courtyard, but the price is much higher than average, even for books. But it is very interesting if you try to make out the little things, such as the poses of the figures or a small drawing

An interesting museum. Take some headphones with you. You can download an audio guide using the QR code. It really doesn't match the exposure a bit :)))and it was confusing a couple of times. The exposition is compact and spectacular. An hour was enough for everything. Nice courtyard. A gift shop with a lovely hostess.

I really liked the museum: there are many halls, each hall is dedicated to a certain kind of art: fabrics, embroidery, carpets, etc. An incredibly beautiful old house . You can download the guide at the checkout and listen to the tour (preferably with headphones). The entrance cost 25 thousand soums

There are interesting antiquities, but there are not many of them. Mostly the 18th and 20th century. Perhaps the most important thing is the carved wooden architectural objects, ceilings, columns, doors.

A spiritual institution, in the best traditions of the Soviet era) An indefatigable exposition, at the same time quite adequately reflecting the origins of the life of the people of the country. For the initial idea of art.

Neat, cozy, beautiful. It's a pity that the exposition is small, I want more carpets and fabrics) and the opportunity to take a tour right on the spot, rather than negotiate in advance. For immersion in the atmosphere, I highly recommend it. And there is a huge gorgeous oak tree growing in the yard!

We were hoping that it would be more about history, but apparently there weren't enough exhibits for a historical approach, mostly 20th-century works.

A very interesting museum. Small and cozy. The mood was spoiled by the fact that a citizen of Ukraine, when she found out that I was from Russia, made a scandal. I was born and raised in Tashkent, but what are these people doing there…

A meager assortment of exhibits from the early 20th century. Museum workers do not know anything. I would like more information about the exhibits. From which region, what do the ornaments mean, for what ... the location of the mannequins in the window is completely stupid.

A wonderful museum! Numerous types of art by local craftsmen are represented. And in Uzbekistan there is something to admire: fabrics, carpets, embroidery, wood carvings, metal and ceramic works. Musical instruments. And the house itself, where the museum is located, is very beautiful. I was there on Sunday afternoon. There were few people. I took a tour, I didn't regret it. Those who are interested in such things will get aesthetic pleasure.

A very chamber museum, several halls, each dedicated to a separate skill (painting on fabric, carpets, embossing, carving, etc.). You walk yourself as much as you want, you can take photos and videos. There is a toilet inside. I really liked the expositions, they are as saturated as possible, the carving is amazing!! there are explanations in Russian.

The museum has existed for quite a long time, since Soviet times. 1. How many times do I go to this museum, the guide is somewhere, usually at lunch (11:00h) or will be after some time. The guard, raising that it will take a long time to wait, kindly almost immediately offers an audio guide, which is free. The cashier is also not in place, they paid at the exit. 2. The most unpleasant thing, I would even say terrible, is all the expositions of ancient excavations, artifacts collected over the years throughout Uzbekistan and carefully preserved, which delighted with their masterpiece, all the exhibits of modern, at best, the 70s, have long been withdrawn instead of them. And I remember the unique truly ancient exhibits that were found by archaeologists, world-renowned scientists from all over the Union in the hope that they would surprise, delight and delight visitors from all over the world, and after all, they came here for this ... 3. Foreigners who were in the museum look at the new model with bewilderment and quickly leave the halls.Dear employees, museum management, think about what is happening in your museum. But the shop is quite large, it sells everything for dollars in the hope of foreigners, but the guests do not buy much, because all this can be bought much cheaper in the markets...

This is a small museum with an uninteresting exposition. The most striking impression is the interior of the hall with an internal fountain. The miniatures in the hallway are also interesting, but they are modern. A large store for dollar tourists in the second courtyard occupies a large area. In general, this is more a place to check off than something that can change your condition.

It is a very beautiful museum, be sure to get to it and download the audio guide. And then you will find out that this is not just a rug (see photo) with an incomprehensible ornament, but solid ones... birds. There are black swallows in the middle. Take a closer look!!! If you walk slowly and with an audio guide, you will plunge into the wonderful world of oriental symbols, amazing names of objects will delight your ear, and your hand will constantly strive to take a photo. If you have extra time in Tashkent, then you should definitely visit this museum!

The museum is quite good. There are many expositions on all kinds of applied art - carpets, embroidery, woodcarving, toys, plates, sets, miniatures, knives, etc. One problem is the audio guide! He's terrible! He speaks very slowly with sighs and "ahs". It is located on some crooked site that Safari refuses to work with. Transfer audio guides to the Youtube platform, for example, where at least you can increase the listening speed to 2x. I had to walk around and read the inscriptions.

You can walk around the museum in 10 minutes without looking too closely at the exhibits, BUT it's worth taking time to the national craft of our culture — so gorgeous and fascinating works that it takes your breath away from the level of skill you see. Nearby there is a shop with a large assortment of national jewelry, accessories, etc., and the outgoing smell of coffee is just something — it is impossible to pass by
