A small exposition, but interesting. A good audio guide on your smartphone. They give you to try on national costumes. There is an exhibition of paintings in the courtyard.

The only museum visited in Tashkent. In general, it is good, but not enough. I will estimate the building alone at 60 sixty of the entire exposition.

The museum is small, but it completely closes the topic. Fabrics, tableware (glass, ceramics, metal), musical instruments, miniature art, wood products. In addition, the museum building itself is a house/exposition of artistic and historical value.

A good museum, mostly embroidery and woodcarving is interesting. You won't see any special antiquities there, mostly the twentieth century. There is a shop on the territory, in the courtyard with prices calculated for non-frightened foreigners with currency.

A very beautiful unusual building, the audio guide is excellent, the description of the halls and exhibits is a little too long. In general, monotonous specimens, but for the first time it is informative

A wonderful museum, in a relatively small area you can learn about all the applied crafts of Uzbekistan - carpets, sewing, skullcaps, wood carving, etc. The guide tells a very interesting story. The old building deserves attention

The best way is to walk around the museum with a guide. The tour is very exciting. You will be told about crafts and about the beautiful house in which the museum is located.

The museum is very beautiful, but almost all the exhibits are modern, there are no historical or few. There are no guides, there are no detailed inscriptions, the audio guide lists incomprehensible words without explaining anything.

If you want to touch antiquity (literally and figuratively), then you are here. Doors, carved wooden columns, paintings, musical instruments, carpets, and many other things will not leave you indifferent. I recommend.

A wonderful original museum. The area is small, but the building is richly decorated and in itself immerses in the richest ancient culture of the East.

You need to visit the museum only with a guide, otherwise nothing is clear, and there are only signatures. In cold weather, the room is poorly heated. In some places, it requires repair. The costumes don't hang on mannequins, so it's unclear how they were supposed to look on a person. But in general, the exposition is worthy of attention. The miniatures are beautiful.

It's a pretty strange place, if there's nothing to do at all, you can go in, the inspection will take about forty minutes. The building itself is interesting from the outside and two halls inside, in the best traditions of Uzbek architecture of the late 19th century. Eclecticism and traditions of woodcarving and wall paintings. The exposition is a bit poor, all the things of the late 19th and most of the Soviet time.Suzane, coinage, jewelry. carved doors and columns

I expected more. Nothing special, carpets, embossing, embroidery, engraving. However, with comments on the history of the craft, not without it. Nevertheless, all this, well, almost everything, can still be seen in any of the bazaars of Uzbekistan.

The museum building itself deserves special attention. The exhibits on display date back to the middle to the end of the 20th century. It is surprising that the masters of the 21st century are not represented, if we assume that the museum represents modern applied art. It is also strange that the works, miniatures of 2000 are signed "author unknown". I would argue with art historians about the available additions made to complement the missing exhibits. Sometimes I wanted to exclaim - why did you stick this here? But the building is beautiful :)

The museum is small, there is a shop with dishes, clothes and other souvenirs at the museum. I don't remember the prices well, then I took all the gifts at the Chorsu market. In the museum you can see carpets and a loom, fabrics, clothes, household items, furniture, musical instruments. Inside there is a beautiful courtyard and a huge oak tree planted in 1880. It's worth a visit)

You can go, the museum is small, we were without a tour, but I think it's not much better with it. Just to put a check mark that you can go there, the entrance is inexpensive, but do not count on spending a few hours in our art or local lore
