I was at Mir and Nesvizh Castle in August 2024. Similar impressions with Nesvizh. All the exhibits and rooms of the castle are a modern reconstruction. There is nothing historical nearby. Some of the buildings (a small percentage) may be the original version of an ancient castle, but most of the museum exhibits and walls are reconstruction. If you are fans of historical stories read on tablets, then you are here.

Prisoners were shot in the park during the war, and there was a ghetto in the Castle. But if you are traveling in Belarus, it is impossible to miss the Nesvizh Castle from the program!

In the castle, you can take photos in costumes, buy souvenirs (everything from magnets to books is on the ground floor). There is a restaurant, there is a hotel.

But seriously, this place is a real storehouse of history and architectural splendor. And even if you are not a fan of ancient castles, there is a lot to see here: from elegant balconies to mysterious dungeons, everything seems to have stepped out of the pages of a fairy tale. And yes, if someone says that this is just an old building, let them try to walk through its halls and say the same thing! He'll understand right away.: There are not just stones and bricks here, but an entire epoch imprinted in each brick.
