We stayed at the hotel with my son during the winter holidays in early 2023.
The impressions are the best. The girls at the reception are all very responsive and friendly. I didn't like the room when we checked in. They offered to look at a room on another floor, which is where we ended up staying.
We lived on the 8th floor. I am very grateful to our maid, Kamlyuk Tatiana. My child was sick, he was freezing. Tatiana immediately brought a heater and advised where to buy medicine. The guards are also all very attentive and polite. There was a feeling of comfort, warmth and security.
We were supposed to vacate the room at 12 o'clock, and our train left in the evening. And in this case, everything was also quickly resolved. We were offered to leave our things in the luggage room, free of charge.
In addition, the hotel is located next to the metro station, so there was no problem getting to the right place in the city. I will recommend this hotel to my friends and acquaintances.
We took with us to the Urals only the best impressions about this institution.

A very decent hotel for your money.
It is located in a convenient location. There are plenty of shops nearby, a market, various supermarkets, and even a cinema.
It's a little far from the center, but the metro and the bus stop are just a few steps away.
There is cleaning, but not particularly noticeable.
For some reason, they never put toilet paper, even when it was completely gone.
There is no kettle in the room, but there is a cooler on the floor. It's not very convenient, but it's better than nothing. In the morning, there was often no water in the cooler, but then they changed it.
The window has a great view of the city. But after lunch, the sun is scorching impossible right through the window, and there is no conde.
We were lucky it was only 22 degrees. If we were 30, we would probably suffocate there.
The nightclub at the hotel is complete bullshit. Two and a half tables and dead silence 🤪
Restaurant. We took a buffet of 500 rubles per person. There is a choice of pancakes and eggs and omelette and fried eggs, porridge, yogurt, slicing. But everything is somehow modest in appearance and taste. We didn't take any more.
But if we come to Minsk again, we will consider this hotel as a good option.

We rented an apartment. If it wasn't for the price, I wouldn't have put it above one star. The furniture is old and quite worn out, the renovation is also old, the room is very *tired*. The hotel is a legacy of the Soviet Union, located far from the center, on a hill, but there is an undeniable advantage - there is a metro station right next to it, so there is no problem to move anywhere in Minsk. There are several supermarkets, a market, a shopping center and a lot of catering in walking distance. Breakfast is expensive in my opinion -25 bel. RUB, but this price is standard for other 3* hotels in Minsk. 1-bed standard room of decent size, has everything you need (refrigerator, slippers, soap accessories, etc.), very pleased with the 1.5 double bed.
The TV is also from the past (pot-bellied), but with a large selection of Belarusian and Russian channels. There was a water cooler on the floor, but for some reason only hot water was flowing. I recommend Orbit if you are interested in a budget option under good conditions.

The hotel is located a stone's throw from the metro, so it's not a problem to get to any part of the city. The hotel has an elegant parking lot, which is provided to guests for free. The room is quite modern, spacious and clean, has everything you need for a comfortable stay. We booked a double comfort on the hotel's website at a non-refundable rate, it also turned out to be cheap. I am very pleased with the hotel, if I am lucky enough to visit Minsk again, I will stay only in Orbit.

THE HOTEL IS VERY GOOD (BY SOVIET STANDARDS). AND THE ENVIRONMENT. BUT NOT FOR THOSE WITH LIMITED MOBILITY. Large halls downstairs, wide corridors and rooms on the floors, cozy, albeit small, rooms. The friendly and helpful staff responds vividly to the requests of the residents. An interesting panorama of Minsk opens from the windows, especially from the upper floors. Although, in order to meet the stated three stars (according to the European classification), renovation and replacement of a significant part of the interior are needed. The rest of the claims to the Orbit are mostly in the category of trifles, quibbles and show-offs. The transport location is almost ideal: near the metro (up to 5-6 small stops - and you are anywhere in the central part of Minsk) and with several bus and trolleybus lines, as well as several minibuses running here. The hotel itself has a restaurant, breakfast is served there (which, if you pay for them as a "room with breakfast", then, as in other Minsk hotels, it turns out to be too expensive), as well as fairly affordable standard business lunches (lunch for two will fit in 20-30 rubles). There are many different catering outlets within walking distance, as well as coffee shops and coffee corners (especially near the metro). In the complex with the hotel there is a shopping center with a good supermarket, a bank branch, a fitness center and a spa, as well as a cinema of the same name. There are a lot of shops in the area that are very diverse in size and accessories. Unfortunately, the hotel has two significant (for certain categories of tourists) and almost unavoidable disadvantages: firstly, it is located on a hill (and just from the subway, stops of main highways, etc.); so you probably will have to climb the long and contentedly steep "Potemkin" stairs more than once. Or do a big zigzag, again with an ascent; or drive into it by car or taxi. Secondly, the large, almost full-length windows of the rooms on the eastern, front side of the hotel look not only towards the center of Minsk, but also at the active, multi-lane highway (Pushkin Avenue), from which, with the window open, a fairly high level of driving noise (for those who understand). And without an open window in a room "without air conditioning" it is uncomfortable even in winter. Therefore, it is more convenient to place windows on the west side, there is less noise in it (from the Prytytsky Street located further away and to the side), and the possible sun bakes less. The prices of hotel rooms, in our opinion, are somewhat overstated (the price of a standard double room here should be no more than 100 rubles per day), but this is a common problem of any guest accommodation in Minsk. Therefore, there seems to be a certain number of available rooms in the Orbit (except for special arrivals, holidays, etc.), so you can accommodate, if desired

I have been to Minsk many times, there is something to compare it with. As for me, one of the best hotels. A very convenient place - metro, Aurora cinema nearby, fast food, cafes. Next to the Avelur store with a cafe, not so far is the Euroopt 24-hour hypermarket. Who travels by motorcycle, just above Pushkin Street there is a motorcycle shop with a good selection of equipment and consumables, well, suddenly.

There was no hair dryer in the room. By the way, if you have breakfast at the hotel (and this is not included in the price), then it turns out to be somehow expensive 25 BP per person. FOR those who have problems climbing stairs, please note that there is a long staircase from the metro to the hotel. As for the girls at the reception, it is normal for a slow and not very motivated Belarusian service. There are no rude women. But if in Russia a good hotel will answer and help you even in those matters that do not relate to their competence (for example, to navigate around the city, according to the recreation program. according to contacts, restaurants, etc.) in Belarus, there are surprised eyes everywhere for unnecessary questions.

Expensive for such a room (standard). The room is in decent condition, not luxury, but not quite fear. Clean and even disposable slippers were. There was a very friendly girl at the reception, she allowed us to look at three different rooms to choose from before paying. We looked and decided to stay at this hotel. We lived on the 12th floor. The metro is 30 steps from the hotel, very convenient location. I think you can find a better one if you want, but we didn't find anything in this price category a day before arrival. For one or two nights it will do, if longer, it is better to choose another accommodation option.
