This "Dranik" is very much to my taste. National interior, semi-darkness in the room... There are a lot of free tables during the daytime on weekdays.
The pancakes here are very cool, hearty, with a slightly salty taste. There is enough honey to pour over all 3 pancakes, despite the gramming indicated in the menu.
Tea is much cheaper here than in coffee shops, and even then, in a coffee shop for this price you can only be offered packaged, and in this cafe custard in a teapot.
So, if you suddenly want to taste pancakes, you can choose to visit the "Pansky dranik".

This cafe is like a movie where the main character (dranik) shines with talent, and the minor characters (waiters) have forgotten that they are in the frame. The cuisine here is 5/5: crispy pancakes, juicy sausages and delicious soups — this is prepared only by the kitchen and only fresh. But here's the service... as if it (the service) was cooked yesterday and heated in the microwave.
The draniki here are like grandma's hugs: golden, fragrant, with the right crispy crust. And yes, the portions are such that after them you don't want to eat, but sing the national anthem.
But here's the service... the smiles of the employees are reminiscent of autumn leaf fall — rare and sad. It seems that they were taught in school "How not to show emotions." They accepted the order as if they were doing a favor, not a job.
At the end, instead of "thank you for visiting," it sounded: "You can even leave a tip here with a card..." Tactfulness of the "persistent beggar at the subway" level.
Life hack: take the takeaway food, so you can enjoy the draniki without the soundtrack of the waiters' sighs. And prepare a little something: suddenly tips will become a mandatory menu item?
Pansky Dranik is a place where food saves a reputation, but the service stubbornly ruins it. Should I go? Yes, if you are ready for culinary delight and service disappointment all rolled into one.
P.S. After the visit, I want to come back... but only if you learn how to cook draniki the same way. Or take headphones with you so you don't have to hear about tips.

An interesting place in the historical center. Atmospheric. The cuisine is national, it tastes pleasant, but very greasy, for example, butter (or melted lard) flowed from the shingles - I don't like that. I lowered my rating for the cockroach that was walking over our table and for the waitress's reaction to this situation.

I have rested many times, the place is wonderful. But on 30.03.2024 we went to eat with the children, ordered borscht as usual. A friend took a pickle. They brought borscht instead of sour cream separately, there was a mass floating in it , clearly squeezed out of the package like mayonnaise. After trying it, I realized that this is some kind of fat that has neither sour cream sourness nor creamy taste, I clarified once again, to which I received the answer no, they did not confuse. I asked a friend to try what was added to his hodgepodge, it tasted like sour cream. And after stirring it, it immediately dissolved. I have already strongly pointed out to them that it is not sour cream that floats in borscht , but like mayonnaise in chunks without dissolving. They decided to replace it. But they brought the same thing again, immediately adding it to the soup. And again, the taste is fatty and does not dissolve, floating in lumps on top. I'm not a restaurant critic, but it's a game to do that!! Moreover, having shown them that sour cream has dissolved in the hodgepodge and is in couscous, and. It does not dissolve in borscht, they left with a dissatisfied face. He refused and went with his daughter to eat somewhere else. My friend stayed, finished eating, and paid the bill. I agree with those who write that there is poor ventilation, after an hour there is simply nothing to breathe and I want to go outside. 2. The concept of a huge dranik, weighing under a kilogram, is not entirely clear, it can really be divided into 4 people, but the problem is that it was not cooked from under a knife, the filling was barely warm. But in general, it did not resemble a dranik, but a heated potato casserole. And the child said that her food was a little too salty. The mushrooms are tasteless. From the fact that this salad is "Hunting", the tinctures are not bad. The feeling of a roadside cafe, if not for the antique furniture. The bill is under 200 Belarusian rubles, with alcohol. I've been to this place 3 times, but the previous 2 were 10 years ago. The difference is that we used to be in the basement in the same building and this had its own entourage, the menu changed a little. The portions of the dishes are just as huge!
Draniki and sorcerers are simply divine! They are located almost directly opposite the building of Rossotrudnichestvo, the Russian Cultural Center. Those who are going to Minsk are simply obliged to visit! You won't regret it, not a bit! We were here for the first time two years ago, since then the restaurant has moved from the basement to the ground floor and it has become less crowded.
This time I waited for the food for a total of an hour, at first 40 minutes, and when my companions had already eaten everything, I clarified my order, and dessert was quickly brought out to me, and they said about the main course that there were 2 minutes left. After another 20 minutes, we were already packed and I went to the bar to find out the status of the order and ask to pack it with me.

The food in the restaurant is not bad, but there are big questions for the staff.
Firstly, with a large number of empty tables, we were seated at the first table we came across without asking. Later, we still moved ourselves to the one we liked.
Secondly, the dish was cooked for 50 minutes, although they did not warn about it. To the question "when will the dish be ready?" They answered for "a couple of minutes," which lasted 15-20 minutes. And when we pointed this out, the staff immediately started responding rather rudely to us and the service changed accordingly immediately. They had clearly become unwanted guests, whom they rather wanted to send away.
The result is a spoiled mood and unwillingness to return.

Hello. I visited a good cafe in Minsk. I was a tourist in Minsk and I wanted to eat the national Belarusian food. What I ordered was very tasty. Maybe there really aren't any good places in Minsk?
Well, in order:
The place is really hard to get to, I had to book.
We arrived at the appointed time:
+ we quickly took the order and brought the beer... but! They said that the grilled vegetables would be served in 45 minutes, and all other dishes would be served earlier.
We spent about 50 minutes hoping to eat, and only the borscht arrived 20 minutes after ordering.
We spent another 20 minutes waiting for the waitress to just ask for the bill (we just didn't pay attention and didn't come up).
The bill was also carried for 10-15 minutes, although the landing was not complete.
About the food: I was also not impressed, the knives are blunt, it is impossible to cut meat, the food does not stand out as something excessively tasty. An average normal meal, but no more.

It's now 11/26/2024... as if this misunderstanding had been left over from yesterday.. they were brought in spite of the stated 25 minutes after 10 minutes.to the question:and it was possible to warn that the dish for two was announced to us:well, you have to look for yourself, the weight is indicated there. They asked to wrap 2/3 of each portion with them, so they squeezed the sour cream, ahha, there was nowhere to put it, it was untouched at all / her husband does not eat it. Ok. We look further. Today, there is no tip and the area is full of establishments with more pleasant service and adequate treatment of guests.

We had lunch at this place on May 29, 2025. We came here, focusing on the high rating in order to try the Belarusian cuisine. We took borscht, cold beetroot, magicians and cappuccino coffee. Everything was very tasty, only the beetle felt like it was without rye sourdough, but I liked it anyway. In the end, they took a tincture of sea buckthorn, very worthy. The pork and julienne were delicious. cheesecake is also delicious, very unusual. but I absolutely did not like the refrigerator, before that we ate in other establishments and it was delicious.
now to the main thing - the staff. The waiter was a guy, generally friendly. but at first we were met by a woman in a very rude way. The woman's name is Veronica. we were very disappointed and at first we wanted to leave altogether, but we were hungry.
I really hope that after my review, she will communicate correctly with visitors!

If the hodgepodge was quite tasty, then in a cafe called Pansky dranik, the cook could have learned how to cook this national dish. These are not pancakes, they are very fatty potato pancakes. It seems that the potatoes were ground in a meat grinder, flour was added and fried in oil. Naked fat and starch. The pancakes were served burnt. By 18 o'clock, there was nothing left from the menu except tea from soft drinks.
