One of the unobvious advantages is that despite the full workload of the hotel, there are always plenty of places for breakfast, there is a special concierge for servicing 3 elevators (which helps a lot during rush hour), and the very organization of servicing the flow of guests is under strict control. Of the surprising disadvantages, there is 1 pillow per person (this is the first time I've come across it), and I also see darned beach towels for the first time. There are heavy metal hammock chairs on the balcony (inconvenient). The complete absence of at least minimal design, bedspreads, paintings - everything is very Spartan, Clean linens and everything. But in general, the impression of a vacation (where the hotel is 50 percent) is quite good. If we were to add some minor disadvantages, it would be all 5*. And the big disadvantage is that an aged Thai man from a suitcase delivery service aggressively extorts huge tips (he wanted 500 baht) for delivering a suitcase by elevator to the room. It really poisoned the first day, then they scored. He also offered other guests to upgrade their rooms for 400 baht per day.

The hotel is excellent for families with children. 2 swimming pools, a water park (paid, but still), an amusement park, a beautiful territory. You can have a great rest even without leaving the hotel. I was upset that the cafe at the hotel was open only on weekends, but there was a market nearby with a huge number of streetfoots. We had a vacation in February 2025. This was my first time in Thailand. Like it. They lived in a building without a tower. The room is no frills, the plumbing is a bit old. They cleaned well. Breakfast, in my opinion, is a little meager. But you won't stay hungry.It is not entirely clear why the sun beds on the beach are paid. But these are all small things. I'm happy with my vacation. We had a vacation in Pattaya in April 2025. I really liked everything: the location, the staff, the room. The view is amazing. We lived on the 19th floor, where the tower is. We took full board, breakfast and dinner would have been enough. The restaurant is rotating upstairs, and the water park is nearby. Upon check-in, we were given free tickets there. The air conditioner is central, but it can be adjusted. They also put water on. The breakfasts are not bad. The restaurant in the tower, the water park, and the attractions on the territory do not belong to the hotel, for a fee for everyone. What a fly in the ointment. The sea is not very good. If the wind blows, a lot of garbage floats in. And there is also a sewer drain. The hotel guides warned that on Wednesday and Thursday, but others said that the drain could be any day. If you want to swim in clean water, it is better to go to the islands organically as part of an excursion or by yourself.

My family and a 4-year-old child are currently staying at this hotel (from March 26 to April 08, 2025). The room category was booked as standard. Upon check-in, we were given a room on the 22nd floor, with a partial side sea view on the left. Surprisingly, they did not take a deposit (this is the first time this has happened). The location of the hotel is excellent. Nearby: -there are many cafes with Russian cuisine (for us, this is essential, taking into account the need to feed a child with familiar food), -a night market where you can also have lunch or dinner (very tasty shrimp), or buy fruit. -7/11 (online store like crossroads or Pyaterochka), -exchangers, - sightseeing shops. Upon arrival at the airport in Bangkok, we bought an unlimited SIM card for about 1200 baht (for 30 days), so we constantly used the Bolt application (such as Yandex Taxi) and took a taxi to the pier for 73 baht. We always waited no more than 3 minutes for a taxi, and it took about 7 minutes to get to the pier. That is, a very convenient location to Bali Hai Pier from where you can get to Koh Lan in 30 batts and about the same amount of minutes. The buffet breakfasts at the hotel are delicious, there is plenty of choice, and the child was also given a lot of things. No complaints at all. What exactly we didn't like in the end: The air conditioner was loud for us, they refused to change the room, and they wanted to see other rooms (where the air conditioner is quieter) they also refused, they said that all rooms in this category were occupied. We were asked if 1000 baht would solve the problem, they immediately refused us, offered 2000 baht, took a break, called somewhere and then refused. They did not bargain further. Although this is far from our first time in Ta, we were simply not allowed to look at other rooms or change them, or come up to resolve the issue the next morning, refusing to answer any question. The staff didn't go to the meeting, we didn't like it. For two days, they did not understand what kind of musty, sour smell accumulates in the room when the balcony is closed. It turns out that all 4 pillows were smelled, they asked to change, only 2 were changed. The smell was smaller, but it was present. We took all 4 pillows to the balcony and did not use them anymore, the smell left the room. I slept much better) By the way, the signs about replacing bed linen do not work, no matter how much they were left without any reaction, although they also left 40 batts (the lack of replacement was determined by small spots, they have black dots there, or a micro-stain from an ingrained but faded stain). Again, this is the first time we've seen this. There are no questions about the cleanliness of the towels, but there are questions about the quantity. When we checked in, there were 2 sets (large and small in each), taking into account the fact that there were three of us, we added 3 sets, then two days later, 2 more after cleaning, we were reminded again that there were three of us and so on a couple of times until we got tired. We use two sets, we no longer leave tips on the bed. The room service is simply terrible, negating all the advantages of everything else (although there are no complaints about the rest). The issue of changing the linen was resolved only through the reception.

The beach is about 5 minutes away. The sea is very warm, a little dirty, we swam. Of course, it is better to swim on the islands, but the time to get to the beach on Kolan island is 1.5 hours from the hotel (the road to the pier, the boat, get to the beach). We ate in cafes in the markets, and in cafes closed. At first, unsanitary conditions (in my opinion) confused them, then they got used to it, they never poisoned themselves. In the neighborhood, in cafes and at the bazaar, everyone understands Russian.
