First of all, do not take breakfast with you on the pier. A decent breakfast: fried rice with egg, yellow noodles, chicken sausages, pork sausages, coffee, tea, cold drinks, toasters with jam and jam, all kinds of different cookies. You won't stay hungry. Do not bring towels, a mask and fins, a regular mask, glasses and a tube. You'd better eat. Breakfast, towel, mask, fins are all free, for rent. The towels are terry, like in a normal hotel. I advise everyone to take a catamaran tour. The speed difference with a speedboat is not much, about 10 minutes. But those who can't stand the pitching, they don't rock so much on a catamaran. Personally, I take everything the same way, but my wife, who rode both a speedboard and a catamaran herself. She felt comfortable on the catamaran, and she was rocking even on the bus. Be sure to take a pill for pitching and motion sickness in about 20 minutes. Motion sickness pills are available for free on the pier and also on the catamaran. It is advisable to have a drink before departure. The price difference between a speedboat and a catamaran is about 500-600 baht. For Russian money, 1500-1800 rubles. The price will definitely be cheaper than buying from a tour operator. There is also a nice bonus when ordering three excursion programs, the bonus includes a gift of a beach shirt (size to choose from), which is very nice, I already have two of these) If you are going to Phuket for the first time, I definitely recommend visiting the Simalan Islands, a two-day excursion to Phi Phi (it is called the 4 Pearls of Andaman), these are the TOP excursions popular with tourists from the Russian Federation, they usually have a Russian-speaking guide. It can take a long time to get to some of the berths from which boats or yachts start (for example, it takes 2.5 hours to transfer to the Surin Islands from Patong), so keep this in mind and check the information in advance. There is also a link to whatsapp at the top of the site, I clicked on it and was transferred to their business account, through which, in fact, correspondence with the manager about excursions and payment methods takes place. At first, it was only confused that one phone number was listed at the top of the site, and when you click on it and go to whatsapp, then there is another number in it. I found a Phuket group on telegram, where those who used their services confirmed that it was them. In general, the checks have been passed, it's time to arrange the tour. I looked at it on their website, a description and an addendum. Consumption: take 150 baht with you for a storage booth, because we were traveling with a backpack, phones, sun creams. In general, we agreed with the operator via whatsapp about the tour, he booked it for us, wrote that the courier would arrive (threw off his photo for identification) at a certain time (+-10 minutes), take the money. I also liked that they explained in a human way that if he stayed late, they say, it happens: some of the other clients whom he stops by on the way may not go out to the lobby to him by the appointed time or stay in traffic jams. In general, the courier arrived, showed my name in the list of clients for this tour and I gave him the payment with a clear conscience. The next morning we went down to the lobby at the appointed time and waited. A car arrived, but there were no identification marks on it that it was from chiptur. We sat for 10 minutes, and then decided to approach the driver and find out if he had come for our soul. It turned out to be our way. So if you see a minivan approaching your hotel, be active, ask the driver about you, do not waste time. In general, we went to Phuket to gather people to their destination. We gathered everyone, went, arrived, left. A girl came up to us and asked what time we would be, they said until 03:00 PM (until 15:00) Then - classic: a queue to check backpacks. But we were lucky, another employee came up and invited us to go to another queue. There I examined the backpack, took out water bottles (you can't go to the water park with your own), packed them in a bag with a number and asked to take a picture so that I could give it back when I left. Then we reached the zig-zag queue at the checkout (we identified it from afar by the number of people), defended it, showed the voucher to the employee when we left the queue at the checkout and rented a booth on it for 150 baht, where we were also given a red bracelet, which is the key to any free booth. We went down the excalator (to the right of the ticket offices), turned right and went into the booth area. There is a touch panel in the middle of the booths, on which there is a Booking icon (i.e., renting a booth). We press it, a bracelet is placed on a tray and free booths are shown to us. Choose the one that suits you according to the spirit / zodiac sign / subconscious desire and it will open. Then cover yourself with sun creams (or better yet, buy a long-sleeved bathing T-shirt in advance), take a panama hat with you and go ahead. We didn't take the T-shirts, we just smeared ourselves with sfp50 cream and burned a second time. I recommend that you first run through the attraction, which is located right on the right - an ornate blue and red pipe. They screamed at her like crazy. We managed to roll down three times, and then there was a QUEUE. Then we spat and went to other attractions, where there were smaller queues. We managed to slide down once or twice on most of the attractions, then we just swam in a circle in the mini-pool, which is located in the middle of the water park. Then it was already 3 p.m., they gathered, came to the exit, showed the voucher to the employee at the exit, she sent it to the waiting area for the transfer. We waited and arrived at the hotel. My conclusions: 1. Definitely go in the morning and not on weekends. You will have time to go to more attractions more than once. 2. Do not overeat before the trip, otherwise you may feel sick when riding from high-speed attractions. 3. If you want to go to the rides with a phone for memorable photos/videos, buy a good waterproof case for it in advance. 4. Well, if you are in a bad mood, definitely go on this tour, after the first slides it will change to a child's joy. 5. As I wrote above, buy a long-sleeved T-shirt and a baseball cap.
