The biggest disadvantage is the presence of construction on both sides of the hotel, which causes enormous discomfort.
Due to the construction, a few days before our arrival, repairs began in the main restaurant where all residents were served, it was closed indefinitely and meals are served in the conference hall.
Due to the construction and the lack of a restaurant, the hotel has lowered prices and people are biting into it and buying tours, it is the cheapest in the area.
Accordingly, for breakfast, lunch and dinner, there is a huge queue at the entrance to the dining room.
The hotel is tired, the room is not cleaned perfectly, garbage, change of linen, towels. The dust lies in place and spends the night with us.
There are small chips and scratches on the furniture
Bed linen for the child was brought sheets and a small blanket, the couch was killed, the child sleeps with us.
The view from the window to the construction site, we were asked to change the room, we were refused, from 7 to 23 there was constant noise and shaking.
Around the hotel, except for the construction site, there is not a single alley, no embankment, no park, there is only one construction site around. It took 30 minutes to the Rixos Hotel to walk along their beautiful promenade.

A wonderful hotel for a relaxing holiday. For those who are tired of the hustle and bustle of the city and want to relax in a quiet, cozy place🥰
The staff is friendly. The rooms are clean, the furniture is new. We paid $100 extra for a room with a sea view. They cleaned every day (and cleaned perfectly).
Food is a separate huge fat plus! Everyone will find something delicious for themselves, no one will definitely stay hungry. I am very picky and try to stick to proper nutrition, here the food completely satisfied me, I overeated every day!In the restaurant (which can be exchanged for one dinner) everything is very tasty too.
Throughout the day, snacks can be taken at the pool bar (nachos, French fries, mini burgers, ice cream, not much choice, but enough for snacks and snacks).
Excellent alcohol (not diluted), no headache in the morning. You can drink all day and wake up fresh in the morning😃
In the evening there was a disco in the bar (a lot of Russian songs, which was very pleasant)
We booked excursions right at the hotel, the prices are reasonable and the choice is great.
One of the disadvantages is the lack of shops nearby, but this is also not a problem, we took a taxi to the shopping center “ Al Hamra Mall”, to the outlet (we were advised by the woman from whom we took excursions, I advise you to definitely go), to the poppy. Excellent hotel, price-quality, meets expectations. We rested from 12.10.24 to 19.10.24. Room number 740.
The territory is not large, but everything you need for a comfortable stay is there!
Indeed, new hotels or apartments are being built from the left and right. And yes, the construction is around the clock. The equipment works from 7:00 to sunset. Welders work from 18:00 and apparently until dawn. The construction site does not interfere at all, an early rise is the norm for us. We had a side room with a partial view of the bay and the construction site. In the evenings, my husband and I watched the guys work and compared the construction technology in Russia and in the Emirates. We didn't notice them at all during the day.
Check-in. We had a morning flight and arrived at the hotel around 9:00. We were greeted at the reception by a friendly young man, unfortunately I did not remember the name. They asked us to wait. We waited for 20-30 minutes. Although we thought we would cook until three. But no, we were offered two rooms to choose from, and the room category was upgraded for free. Of course, we chose a room with a balcony in the main building. And the bracelets were given to us for lunch, so we had time to relax from the road and see the territory. The rooms are cleaned every day. Regardless of whether the cleaning button is on or not. Bed linen is changed every day, towels are always fresh. Tea sets are replenished every day, even if you don't let them clean, they will definitely give you water and tea. It's a pity that 0.5 liters of water per person is not enough, personally it was not enough for me, but you can take water everywhere in the beach bar, in the pool bar, in the lobby bar. Which is exactly what I was doing, we had a fridge full of water. The hotel provides everything you need in the bathroom, but if you need cotton pads or chopsticks, bring them with you. I didn't even find this luxury in the local store.
The main restaurant closes only twice a day for 1.5 hours before lunch and for 2 hours before dinner. Even in Turkey, ultra is all inclusive, breakfast, lunch and dinner are given for several hours. And here is a 4* hotel and all meals are included. Breakfast is from 06:30 to 11:00, there is plenty of food for every taste, sausages, cheeses, bacon, eggs, vegetables, fruits, pastries, sweets, all possible muesli, cereals, porridges, whatever you want. Lunch and dinner are basically the same in terms of their content, on a fish day, squid, shrimp, oysters. Every dinner is a day of some cuisine of the world. It's a pity there was no borscht or okroshka. There was a lot of food and sometimes I was amazed at the superpowers of many people to carry five plates in one hand, and a glass of wine and three cans of beer in the other. It was really sad to see how it was then laid out in tons in the trash.
The beach is sand with crushed shells, you can walk barefoot, but it's hot, the sea is gentle, but you still have to look so as not to step on a shell or a starfish. The water is warm, it was colder in our pool in the summer than the water in the bay. The beach bar is open from 11:00, but at this time the pilgrimage for beer begins, after two hours the queue resolves and you can come up, juice, soda, water, non-alcoholic cocktails and alcoholic cocktails, drinks are all in the assortment. The snack menu is not big, chips and popcorn. Apple juice with ice is the drink of the gods, the whole vacation was just drinking it on the beach. There are always places on the beach and sun beds and umbrellas and towels can be changed, even after each entry into the sea. However, one shower did not work, I hope it was fixed.
There are three pools on the territory, one for children, but for some reason adult men were riding down the slides. The pool by the beach was painfully deep for me, but the second one by the bar was just right. The water there is cooler than in the bay, and there is more room in the shade. The bar is also open, the drinks are still the same. Burgers and French fries are a plus on the menu. I liked the non-alcoholic mojito in this bar, we went there to get it. If the beach is open until sunset, it is until about 18:00. The bosses worked until 19:00.
The evening animation started on Thursday and was mainly for children. There were no discos, if entertainment and festivities are important to someone until the morning, then the hotel is not suitable for you.
In the bar near the main restaurant, drinks are served until 23:00, after for money. You can walk around the territory even until the morning, but do not go into the sea.
In general, we were satisfied with our stay at the hotel. We plan to return here in May 2025, if we manage to buy a room with a view of the beach.

A great hotel for a relaxing holiday!
We stayed with a young man at this hotel, and were very pleased with the choice. The rooms are spacious, clean and equipped with everything necessary for a comfortable stay.
Excellent service. The staff is very friendly and attentive. We are always ready to resolve any issue promptly.
The food at the hotel was also pleased with the abundance of choice and high quality products.
Regarding the excursions, we turned to Abdul, who is sitting near the elevator. A wonderful man who never refused to help us)
We took excursions only through him and were very satisfied.
Overall, our stay at this hotel was a great success. Cozy atmosphere, excellent conditions and helpful staff. I definitely recommend this hotel to anyone who is looking for a quiet and comfortable place to stay!

I liked the hotel, we rested here for two weeks. But there are disadvantages too. For example, water outages, take a shower, a whole quest))

There are Russian-speaking staff at the reception and it makes life much easier) we were given a room with a balcony without extra charge, friends extended the room for two hours (from 12 to 14) also without extra charges. By the way, a room with a balcony is better, because things dry instantly, the guys without a balcony had problems with this (although they were given a dryer in the room).
I advise everyone to download the local Karim program and go to the manar mall. Children go to the playroom (65 dirhams), and go shopping themselves)
The sea is ... peculiar, more precisely the bay. It is very salty and warm, there are a lot of sun beds, drinks only from 11 am to 6 pm.
You can cool off in the upper pool (above the reception) or in the children's pool. The water in the pool by the sea is very warm.

What I didn't like was a sightseeing tour of Dubai. We lost a lot of time because of the oil shop and the market, we could have seen something beautiful during this time. Marina cruise with dinner (buffet) - for 4 plus, but the views are gorgeous. It was a little more than two hours at the Dubai mall ... so this is sooo little, you need to put in 4 hours or better 5)
And a crowd of locals comes for a weekend to relax and be prepared that there will not be enough space in the children's pool) but I think this is the case in all hotels.

There are enough sun beds for everyone, but there are moments in the morning when some collective farmers occupied the sun beds in advance in the shade. We came to the beach after lunch. And some families with kids had to find a place for themselves. But this is a claim to our great Russian people. I do not recommend contacting Abdul, he charged us $ 400 for an individual tour to Dubai.We went with a baby of 8 months old, for this money the driver simply drove us to each attraction, and dropped us off far away, for example in an underground parking lot and told us to go for a walk, do not understand where. And he pointed to a time of 15-20 minutes. We walked around, didn't understand where to go or what to do there at all. He brought the Mall to Dubai and also told me to go to the fountain and Burj Khalifa, without showing me where. And the Mall is huge for a minute. The promised museum of the future was not visited, again because the driver was not aware of such a program. In general, we did not understand what the money was paid for. A bar on the beach, by the pool and in the hotel itself (there is a billiard table, the price is 5 dirhams per game, like). There is a small gym. One evening there were animators for children. The hotel bar is open from 16:00 to 01:00, but the all-inclusive system is valid only until 23:00.
On the day of departure, the room must be vacated by 12:00 and by default only breakfast is included. But keep in mind that if you missed lunch when you went on an excursion, then you have the right to lunch on the day of departure. Many people don't know about it. It is especially useful for those who have an afternoon or overnight transfer when leaving. And by the way, you can extend the room for 2 hours for free.

We rested between July 22-28, 2024.
The hotel is suitable for a quiet family holiday: there are no programs, animations (there was a small program for children on Friday evening, that's all). But this fact, on the contrary, suited us: we were without children, just enjoyed the sea.
The sea is unrealistically warm in July, even hotter. The shore is white sand with small shells, the water is clean. But there are tides in the morning and then it gets very shallow. The water is salty - you can't even drown if you want. A lifeguard is sitting on the shore. The opening hours of the beach are from 8 to sunset, but people come from 7 a.m., no one is kicked out.
There are a lot of sun loungers, beach towels are changed during the day without any problems. We did not take the beach towels to the room, we changed them for clean ones during the day.
The rooms are clean. We got into a room with a balcony - no problem drying things. But there are rooms without a balcony, where people dry their swimsuits outside on dryers (during the wind, the dryers fall, things fly apart, so you can bring a couple of clothespins with you in case you check into a balcony-free room).
The food is varied, there is a lot to choose from. For breakfast, cheeses, sausages, pastries, porridge, nuts, fruits (sliced papaya, watermelon, melon, pineapple, grapefruit and whole pears, apples, bananas, oranges). For lunch and dinner there are vegetables, salads, various soups and meat dishes. You will definitely not stay hungry. A very tasty sweet table - puddings, cakes, cakes are excellent.
There are very long time intervals: breakfast 6:30-11:00, lunch 12:30-15:30, dinner 18:00-22:00. But you can only enter once (mark the room number). There is a bar on the beach, and there is also a bar indoors.
There are three pools: a children's pool with a slide, one small near the beach and another on the roof of the restaurant.
In general, only positive impressions remained. But there are some nuances:
1) check-out at 12:00, you can only extend it for two hours for free, but they immediately warn you that without lunch. However, we found out purely by chance that if lunch was missed (and we were just leaving for an excursion and did not have lunch), then you can even go to lunch after eviction. For some reason, no one warns about this in advance.
2) there are few Russian-speaking staff, although most vacationers speak Russian.
3) there is almost no greenery on the territory, there is nowhere to walk outside the hotel.
4) there is only one store about 25 minutes walk away, but there are no pharmacies nearby.

Walk to the sea for 1 minute or 6-7 steps.Delicious cocktails and good alcohol both on the beach and in all bars. The food is also at the highest level, it does not end, the staff monitors everything and reports everything. There are no queues at all during the meal. Coffee machines on every corner. Sometimes Arabic coffee is brought out, this is a separate pleasure. The rooms at this hotel are clean and very cozy. They clean them every day, even without asking. Or upon request at any time, if you press the cleaning button. The staff is generally very attentive and responds quickly to all requests. By the way, we were settled immediately upon arrival without additional charges, it's 4 hours before check-in. The safe is also free in each room. The Internet is fast and catches perfectly even on the beach. Excursions are a separate topic. If you want to save money, then take them from Abdul, who is sitting near the elevator on the G floor. He gathers Russian tourists, gives a Russian-speaking guide who not only tells very interesting and informative stories, but also answers all your questions with pleasure. We were very impressed with the trip. By the way, it is this good man Abdul who can tell you how to get to the nearest mall to buy souvenirs or other useful things. By the way, it is a huge plus that almost all the staff at the hotel speaks Russian and English fluently. In general, if you want a peaceful paradise vacation, then you are only here. We will definitely come back here again, next time with our whole big family)

What you should pay attention to (for me these were not minuses, but it may be important to someone):
- From Thursday to Sunday there is a disco in the bar until 12 at night in the building on the seashore. The music is clearly audible in the rooms directly above the bar. Therefore, if you need a quiet rest in the evenings, then ask at check-in that your room is away from the bar, on the other side or in another building.
- In rooms with sea views, you will also hear music on the beach, which plays all day. If you like to sleep during the day, then do not take a room with a sea view.
- There are no cakes among the desserts for breakfast, only pastries such as pancakes, croissants. It was a little strange for me, since I allow myself sweets only in the morning and do not feel like eating delicious cakes before going to bed.
- Sausage for breakfast is so-so.
- There is practically no territory and there is nothing interesting outside the hotel yet - the place is actively being built up. Maybe in five years it will be more interesting to walk here.
- If you're lucky with the construction site. On some days they are actively making noise there, exhaust fumes from construction equipment arrive on the beach. On some days, they quietly do something there and absolutely do not interfere.
- The beach is not picturesque. You need to walk decently to the nearest palm trees.
- The sand is large, not the kind that you want to touch with your fingers while lying on a sunbed.
- The water is not perfectly clear.
- There may be a long wait at the reception when checking in.
- The TVs in the rooms are walled up in a frame that does not allow you to connect an HDMI cable and watch your videos from a laptop or phone.
Despite these points, I give the hotel a five, as I had a good rest. I wish you the same!

But after sunset, no access to the sea is allowed! Animation is only on weekends, and then from 20: 00 to 22:00. It is possible to leave the territory, but it is an hour on foot to the nearest "civilization" and not always on the sidewalk. Building. Personally, she didn't bother me, although the windows looked directly at her. But the construction site is right all around.
Rooms. They are settled at 15, evicted at 12. Cleaning every day. Bed linen and towels are changed. They put water, teas and coffee.
On Friday and Saturday, Arab families are settling in for a vacation - they have full priority!!!! Until they are settled, tourists sit at the reception after 15. It's sooo obvious.
There is a swimming pool and a playroom for children. My son is 8 years old - he did not climb out!!!!
Weather. Day 34-36. It's probably 28 degrees at night. The water is pleasant - not boiling water like in June.
The beach is a shallow shell rock. We swam on the right side of the beach (if you face the bay) - there the approach is less rocky or something. Sun loungers might be enough for everyone if the especially gifted did not occupy 4 places for two. The beach staff does not monitor this.
