The most beautiful restaurant I've been to in Almaty! The Kazakh-only dishes were the most savory I've had in the three months I've been in Kazakhstan. The fine art and traditional decor made the atmosphere feel elegant, yet welcoming. Excellent wait service and decently priced menu.

On Saturday evening, artists perform with national songs and musical instruments. Immerse yourself in the incredible atmosphere of a Kazakh yurt with a great dinner. The staff is not friendly, if you have not booked in advance, then they will not try very hard to accommodate you. I had to beg for a table and look for it myself. The steppe dessert "Samesut" seemed tasteless, the taste was only from strawberries. Mountain trout is an understatement -only half of the fish, in which small bones were found, is missing a side dish, although the waiter assured that there would be a side dish for the fish. Horse ribs with kurt sauce, in my opinion, are normal, but over-salted. The young man couldn't eat them. The steppe dessert, which looks like bird's milk, is, unfortunately, completely unsweetened and tasteless. They asked me to pack some of the food with them — I had to pay for the containers. There was no change — they took a small amount in their favor, not in favor of the client. By the way, they didn't bring baursaks, although they treated us to them in all establishments. I visited this cafe/restaurant on the evening of 08/05/2025. I don't understand why this restaurant of national Kazakh cuisine has such high ratings. I chose the national dish beschbarmak, I have tried it more than once in other places. 3 pathetic pieces of horse meat were over-salted, 2 pieces of kaza did not add to the fullness of sensations. The dough was overcooked, strongly boiled. The broth is not rich. I didn't understand at all what I paid for, the most terrible drug I've tried, and not only in Kazakhstan. I can't judge other dishes, but the most national Kakha dish, Beshbarmak, doesn't match my idea of beshbarmak either in price or quality. I do not recommend visiting this dish already.

Since the menu consisted of only national dishes, the waiter gave us explanations and helped us with the choice. As a result, we chose: koumiss, which we had heard a lot about, but had not tried until this moment, a salad of crispy eggplant, beef soup and beef rib, well, tea (similar to Tashkent) was not enough. All the dishes were extremely unusual and had a specific national taste. But nevertheless they were delicious and satisfying. Therefore, we can recommend this institution.
