It was great experience staying at Spinel Hotel. You can walk to all historical places like Hagia Sophia and Topkapi Palace. We had a problem with plumbers and informed the staff and they fixed it quickly!

They will meet you here as standard for Turkey, without even looking at your voucher, they will put you in a "kennel" on the ground floor and convince you that they do not have a room with a sea view, but you paid for it. If you swallow it, it's great, but if you turn up the heat and you have good tour agents, you will immediately be moved to a room with a sea view and will apologize for the whole vacation. Cleanliness leaves much to be desired, but the towel is changed every day. During my stay at the hotel, I heard a lot of complaints about breakfast. However, in my opinion, everything is good and very tasty. Omelet and boiled eggs, traditional Turkish snacks, sausage and cheese, fresh bread, cereals, tea, coffee, juices, milk, water. The terrace is small but cozy, it is well heated in winter and you can have breakfast without outerwear) The audibility in the hotel is not great, it is comfortable to sleep. Ideally located within walking distance to all major attractions. Nearby there are many cafes with local cuisine that are not expensive (for Istanbul). I highly recommend paying extra for a room with a sea view, because the economy rooms are very small and without air. I have something to compare it with, and the price-quality ratio is perfect. I will definitely come back here. For whom it is important, very comfortable beds with a moderately hard mattress, your back will thank you after long walks) I recommend
