It was great experience staying at Spinel Hotel. You can walk to all historical places like Hagia Sophia and Topkapi Palace. We had a problem with plumbers and informed the staff and they fixed it quickly!

We stayed at this hotel in January 2026, a wonderful place. First of all, special attention to the staff - they were very helpful guys, they helped me navigate the city (where it's better to buy souvenirs, in which places coffee and sweets taste better), the cook deserves special praise - she just makes incredibly delicious food. The breakfasts are identical every day, but they are made with soul. It felt like you were visiting your grandmother, everything was cooked very tasty, homemade, and of course in the traditions of Turkish cuisine. The room is very cozy and comfortable, with a spacious bathroom. Cleaning was carried out daily. The location itself is also convenient - 5-7 minutes from the central square with mosques. (This plus is also a minus - this is the most touristic area, so prices in local cafes and shops are too high for visitors). But this is all insignificant. There is a T1 tram stop next to the hotel, which provides access to other tourist parts of Istanbul. I would also like to mention what a wonderful breakfast veranda this hotel has! Panoramic views of the Bosphorus! Even in the cold and snowy January, we managed to enjoy the sea. Special thanks for this beautiful view during breakfast. In general, the hotel deserves a confident 9/10, 100% we will recommend it for a visit!
