We had dinner on Friday evening. The table was booked 3 hours before arrival. The room is small, zoning for 2 halls with a curtain. There was a large group having dinner in the hall behind the curtain and it was a bit noisy accordingly. In the first hall there are tables for 2-4 people, if necessary, there are chairs that are pushed to the tables for more people. The chairs are soft, and the deep sofas have cushions for my back, which turned out to be comfortable for me. But getting up from the couch because of the long table was uncomfortable for me. The interior of the cafe is already New Year's Eve, fir branches under the ceiling, small Christmas decorations on the shelves on the walls, which were interesting to look at. The lighting is dim, and there is a lamp on the tables, which creates a more cozy atmosphere. Large floor-to-ceiling windows with light curtains and dark drapes, the evening street is clearly visible through the windows. So I liked the atmosphere in the hall. Our table was next to the kitchen, but there were no smells in the hall. The menu was on the tables. The waitress didn't come over immediately. The dishes we ordered didn't take long to prepare, so they were served quickly. The tongue salad with a very harmonious dressing, the baked mussels with garlic are very juicy and warm, the cheese sticks are hot, and the grilled vegetables are coarse and aldento, without salt - just fine. The sea buckthorn drink in the order did not arrive immediately, as we requested, so we had to remind you when we realized that we had forgotten about it. The drink was moderately hot and had a rich taste. The prices are affordable, and the portion weight varies from dish to dish. The waiters periodically cleared away the empty dishes, asked if we wanted to order anything else. There's a TV on the wall in the hall, the sound was a little loud for me. There were only couples and companies in the hall - everyone was chatting. I think that just soft background music would be enough. And in my opinion, the selection of clips does not correspond to the positioning of the cafe as an institution with national cuisine. The toilets are clean and simple. In a very small foyer, there is a large mirror that covers almost the entire wall, and the shelf under it is very narrow - the area and layout of the hallway does not allow for large sizes or a bedside table / sofa / clothes rack right here, next to the mirror. There are hangers in the hall, and there are clothes hooks on the walls near each table. In general, this cafe is democratic, without frills, and I included this place in my list as a place to return to.

A small, cozy establishment that has been feeding its guests for over twelve years. At noon, the restaurant is about half full - fortunately, there are tables available, because, of course, we did not book anything. Inside there is one hall and an elevator, which is about to open. The staff works fast: As soon as we sat down at the table, the friendly girl introduced herself and brought the menu. After listening to the order, she warned that the portions of the dishes were quite large, but this did not scare us. The drinks arrived immediately, and we waited about fifteen minutes for the main order. As for the design, there is no national bias here. The style, of course, is outdated - the peak of its popularity ended back in 2017. However, the furniture is not worn out, not shaky: sitting at the table is quite comfortable. There are smooth wooden beams on the multi-level ceiling and walls. In the center of the hall is a chandelier surrounded by spotlights, and above the tables are metal lampshades. No fancy finishes, just neutral and natural colors. According to the restaurant's social media, an updated menu appeared in March of this year. The breakfasts here are standard, as everywhere else, without an emphasis on national cuisine, such as porridge, cheesecakes, pancakes. We could rename the pancakes into leafy ones, in our opinion it would be much more colorful! Soups, salads, snacks with funny names and desserts are also not particularly original. But the range of hot dishes is already much wider, more interesting and with national features: kashanka with black pudding, a rich selection of pancakes in several variations, machanka, beef cheeks, knuckle, plus several types of fish at reasonable prices. We tasted homemade dishes of Belarusian cuisine, and also quenched our thirst with local tinctures without hitting the budget. The service is adequate, attentive and non-intrusive. The atmosphere is without a deliberate national theme, but quite comfortable, conducive to a leisurely lunch.

We visited the cafe on Saturday, January 31. We booked a table in advance, as we were a group of 5 people. We are very pleased with the evening we spent - the romantic atmosphere with light nostalgic notes of the 2000s, primarily due to the background music, prompt and friendly service, and simply excellent cuisine! The borscht is incomparable, and the dranik "from Baba Nadia" is a masterpiece! We look forward to seeing you again!
