The Green Bazaar of Almaty is similar to the same markets in other cities with one difference - the stupid numbering of sellers' places. I needed to find a certain row and place, and I spent some time searching. But for the rest: national products, I'm happy with the purchase, because I went to a trusted seller.

A favorite place where you can buy everything you need: kashchi, zhaya, drink and buy koumiss, irimshik, kurt with you. Everything is very tasty, they will pack it with high quality and issue a certificate if flight and transportation to Russia are necessary.

It is no longer relevant to talk about the historical landmark - the bazaar is like a bazaar without oriental elegance, just a "box". Dirt, unsanitary conditions. They put money on beauty and order- the main task is to make money. Everything is there, everything is expensive. There are even things that don't exist if you find the time and desire. Parking is a problem, just like everywhere else.

I understand everything there, and it's very convenient where they sell. There are already points where you go shopping all the time. I'm close to home. Everything is fine.

The Green Bazaar is one of the best markets in Almaty, you can find any product here. Sometimes the prices here are slightly higher than in the bazaars on the periphery. Over the past decade, the bazaar has expanded, so that it is difficult to get around in a day. I've always liked him. Since the 80s of the last century and still I enjoy visiting our Green Bazaar

An incredible, colorful, delicious food market. The prices are high. But you can bargain from the bottom of your heart, and the quality of the products, the choice, is simply incredible. All meat products are carefully packed in a vacuum, and certificates are given for export by plane. It is ideal for high-quality shopping of ethno products.

I strongly advise all tourists to visit this very picturesque place. Bargaining is possible. There are many goodies that cannot be found in stores. Divine prices for things, you can find interesting souvenirs for family and friends.

It's a good bazaar, but the appearance is ruined by the vendors along the sidewalk. Good prices for household chemicals and household goods inside the market. It is necessary to clean from street dealers and it will be clean.

One star only for dry fruits! They are amazing there and not ordinary! I took my friends to Russia-delight! They've never been seen anywhere like this! The meat is questionable, I bought it once - only veins and cartilage! Ugh. I boiled the beef, threw out almost everything.

It's a good place. For every taste and purse (if you know where to look). Your own "world" and the relationship between the buyer and the merchant. Definitely, the choice is the most diverse... It's only bad with prices... Sometimes, the "entrepreneurial spirit" of individual merchants is simply surprising... But if you know where to look, it doesn't hurt. I definitely recommend it!

One of the oldest bazaars in the city, which has undergone many reconstructions, but has not lost its popularity with people. It always pleases with the abundance of excellent and fresh goods, the friendliness of sellers, the opportunity to bargain. I recommend an indispensable visit.

Always fresh vegetables, fruits and herbs. I don't take meat at the market, they always cheat, I couldn't find fresh meat for so many years, so it would be veal. We take horse meat and kazy, the stranger is always the same woman. At least she's telling the truth.

It's a great place. A typical bazaar, but in a modern way. No one is haggling to the point of stupefaction, but they are haggling a little to maintain the status of the bazaar!

The Green Bazaar is a historical place of the city and even in Soviet times! It was a center of commerce and attraction for entrepreneurs! The best products and goods were the best ! That was before: Now: There is no normal paid parking because of this, car Chaos and nightmarish traffic jams are created, a lot of spontaneous trade along the road because of this, the impression of the market deteriorates, as they say, they stuffed dots on every square meter! The products are very expensive, which clearly do not match the quality! It takes a lot of energy and strength to overcome systemic obstacles! There is a lot of garbage from boxes and bags everywhere! For me, it's better to go to more civilized Hypermarkets or shopping malls to shop there!

It's expensive compared to wholesale markets, but you can find what you like. Good sellers with good goods have been standing in one place for many years and therefore value their customers. An excellent choice in the meat pavilion. You can successfully buy local berries, mushrooms, and apples. Excellent farming departments. Minor inconveniences with the renovation made it possible to transform the premises. All changes for the better

The prices are too high, especially on weekends. Veggies (most of them) will blindly put rotten, wormy vegetables, although they display everything beautifully in the window. When you come home, they're rotten. I've been checking on the spot lately. Most of them do not have a pos terminal, they ask for a transfer.

Kazy is not just a dish, it is a real pride of Kazakh cuisine and a taste steeped in tradition and respect for ancestors. I recently tried kazy, made according to a homemade recipe, and it was magical: tender, fragrant meat with a rich taste, melting in my mouth. Each slice seemed to be transported to a yurt in the middle of the steppe, where it was warm, cozy and smelled of a hearth. This dish not only nourishes the body, but also warms the soul. Rahmet is the one who preserves and passes on this culinary art from generation to generation.

The market is rich (in Almaty they say the bazaar), which is just not there - as always, as in all times and years. The choice is huge, the atmosphere is truly hospitable, noisy, but this is the atmosphere of the "Green Bazaar". I will be glad to return here.

A large, extensive, multifaceted, unusual but at the same time simple, green bazaar. A market entirely made up of ordinary people living and developing at a leisurely pace for themselves. Each of us has some memories of this place that connect us with other people or events. In general, this review can be applied to any place of this type, just by changing the names) But I don't think that it will cause people the same impressions as from a simple trip to the store. No, this place deserves more.

This is my favorite place since childhood). The freshness of the products and the rich selection distinguishes the Green Bazaar from supermarkets. And you can always bargain. Of course, there are also favorite sellers - those who have continued to please with the quality of their goods for many years. For example, milk (butter and ghee, cottage cheese, cream, goat cheese and cheese) I take only from Zuli or Zara, they are standing next to each other, in the old upper pavilion, which is on the side of Zhibek Zhola. And in the new one, which is closer to Makataeva Street, there is a boutique with Greek olives and oil, of its own production - it can't even be compared with what is sold in cans, anyone who understands will understand me. Among the cereals there is also Mash, and Nohat, and green buckwheat, so that the Zozhevites also have something to choose from and germinate. Next to the main entrance (from Makatayev) there is a boutique with Kyrgyz milk, it is delivered on Tuesdays and Fridays. This is the only thing we take from store-bought milk, and the price will be very pleasantly surprised, cheaper than in soups. We also take yeast-free bread, tortillas or bricks from them. And as far as I understand from communicating with other customers, people come to them from afar specifically for these products. We take herring, shrimp, and pink salmon from a fish boutique near the western entrance to the pavilion. In the same area there is a branded point of Alimpievsky sausage and smoked products. And not far from them, two aunts sell a real Almaty aport - this taste and aroma, familiar from childhood, can not be confused with anything! In general, it's good to get around the Green Bazaar without fuss, with a buzz. If you want to cheer up a little, there is a pretty good coffee in the Old Pavilion, on the second tier, next to the herbalists. There is also a coffee point in the lower pavilion, but the old one is much better. By the way, I can also recommend Oksana from herbalists. Only if you need not just a salesperson but also a consultant, then you need to ask her herself, not the assistants. Well, I hope my feedback will be useful). Have a good shopping!

There is a lot of choice, prices bite for non-locals. But if you bargain and take your time, everything will be 15-20℅ cheaper. I bought a cheese-dried kyzy, it's very tasty. Two pieces of 350 g each came out for 1,500 rubles . Not cheap, but still a delicacy. I think I could have taken it cheaper, but I was in a hurry. There is no such thing in regular stores, only in the market

I've known the Green Bazaar since the 70s.At that time, it was really a market for people and for everyone.Today, the market has turned into the most expensive klandike in the whole city.Everything is very, very expensive. We have to visit other markets where prices are significantly (twice) lower than the prices that exist in the Green Bazaar. We pensioners cannot afford many products there, and therefore we buy at the wholesale market of Raiymbek-Rozybakiev, where prices are two times lower, at the market of Altyn Orda, Arystan, where prices are also acceptable, Sary Arka market is expensive.I would like to note that it is necessary to pay attention not only to the administration of the market, but also to the Akimat of Almaty, that elementary sanitary and hygienic standards are not observed in the markets, from violation of which the people suffer. In all markets of the city, without exception, all traders from Tajikistan and Uzbekistan sell their products without observing the above-mentioned sanitation standards. All dried fruits, fruit products and others are on the shelves in an open form, where people with various types of diseases walk, sneeze, cough, dust settles on these products and people buy already infected goods.Dried fruits can be washed, but again not all::many types of goods lying on the shelves cannot be washed because they are covered with either glaze or sugar, and the microbe does not understand which product to fly to.That's why there are a lot of diseases that we acquire and from which the infection comes. It is necessary to oblige sellers to make special glass bins that would protect these products from the external effects of dust and dirt, and buyers would see the whole product through the glass and not touch it. These are my considerations. And I would also like officials to look at the markets more often and regulate the tokens corresponding to the pensions of ordinary citizens.
