I really liked the atmosphere, the kitchen and especially the cafeteria.

I visited this institution today, I honestly did not understand the general delight. This place was highly recommended, but unfortunately it is terrible. The interior is nice and the delicious creme brulee are the only advantages of this establishment. The first thing I didn't like was the quality of the dishes, the pizza was too greasy, the dough was rather bland, there wasn't enough olive oil or wine vinegar in the salad. The soup was normal. Then we see that our dish is taken to another person, with the words they should have got it, they brought it to you. We ask the waiter where our dish is, he apologizes that he forgot to punch and the dish is over. I really didn't like this situation. Next, we ask for the bill, they ask what we didn't like, we answer about the situation above, and we say that the quality of the dishes. The waitress just nodded and left. I didn't like this place very much, I don't understand who goes there in general.

We were on vacation and decided to visit this place . At first, everything was OK - we were put in without reservation, drinks and salads were brought quickly enough. The salad and lemonade are excellent, everything is balanced, a good portion and delicious.
After we ordered hot food, I took risotto with eel. As soon as they brought it , I tried it - and this happened to me for the first time - when I realized that I wanted to give up the dish . I don't consider myself a picky person, and I'm almost omnivorous. The rice was tough, it felt like it was not cooked, the dish as a whole was not tasty. I asked the waiter to pick up the dish, because I don't like it, I was very upset about it, and I didn't order anything else.. a little later, the waiter brought a compliment in the form of three sweets from the pastry shop in front of the bill , which would somehow smooth the situation . All this time I was thinking that in such establishments I would not get the dish on the bill, because I did not like it (it was given back)
But no - my hot spot and all the other positions were in the account . If you are applying for the title of a restaurant, then you should reconsider the policy of refusing dishes, I think your reputation is worth more. I give two points for the review to be noticeable and for you to pay attention to this issue . There was a very unpleasant aftertaste …

During our stay in Minsk, we visited The Odi twice, of which we went to lunch once on my birthday. Everything we ordered was delicious, and the service was excellent. In honor of the birthday, we were presented with a cake, brought it with a lit candle and the sweet girl who served us made a whole congratulatory speech, it was nice. To summarize, the food and desserts are delicious, the service is excellent, the check is average. The cakes are probably expensive, but they are quite interesting, worth a try. We went to have dinner at an institution, everything looks beautiful, a pleasant atmosphere, unobtrusive music. But then something went wrong. Non-alcoholic mulled wine was brought to us from the drinks, it was very sweet and warm, not hot. Well, okay, we sit and watch further. For the hot we ordered newkki with porcini mushrooms (there are no questions to them, everything is delicious) and black risotto with eel and pear (the rice in the risotto was quite hard, not even aldente). Pizza was brought to us almost immediately with the hot one, and when we finished the hot one, we sat with empty dirty dishes for 10 minutes, while all the waiters just kept walking by, sometimes even looked at the tables, but did nothing. During this time, the same situation has formed on the next table. I asked to call the hall administrator, asked if such a situation was normal for a restaurant. Ekaterina apologized and promised to fix everything, after which the waiter came up to us and took away the plates from under the hot, but missed the next table. Then the same waiter "floated" past the next table, examined it and again nothing! Impressive! After a while, the waiter still reached the next table and removed the dishes.
For pizza, a separate comment - ordered with shrimp, kimchi and zucchini. The pizza had a kimchi-based sauce, not kimchi. I would recommend describing the menu more precisely, or the waiters should be a little more talkative and devote guests to the details of the dishes.
At the end of the dinner, Ekaterina came up, apologized again and presented handmade sweets as a compliment.
I wish the restaurant to correct the errors that have arisen, because the place is really pleasant!

It's not our first time in an Odi. When we arrive in Minsk, we have lunch there regularly. One of the few modern places with delicious cuisine and excellent service. I recommend steak and salmon: a pretty decent piece, soft, not over-dried, with a non-standard puree! She also noted interesting and non-standard sauces in salads, which makes them original and unlike salads in other establishments. In short, I recommend it. Finally, after the pandemic, I am back in Minsk! And finally, I'm back in Odi! It's good to be back again. Cozy, beautiful, the girls are positive. And most importantly - it's delicious!
At the same time, Odi is a representative of the European approach to cafes/restaurants. A huge selection of European desserts/muses. croissants. It is very beautiful and very tasty. Yes, and the coffee is very good. The neighbors from Milano will have it easier. We went here for breakfast and desserts in the afternoon.
And more. We tried a lot of croissants. And in France, too. But in Odi - some of the best! Both stuffed and classic! I recommend it with cherries and poppy seeds. I have not met such people before!!! Pure delight!
