Sometimes we all really want to go back to our past, and we rush to the places where our student years and youth once passed, hoping for at least a moment to plunge into an atmosphere full of expectations, feelings, naive dreams and plans.. The Central Cafeteria is a unique place in the center of the capital, where you can jump back in time).. Not only the Soviet-era style with magnificent stucco, bright bas-reliefs and luxurious chandeliers has been preserved here. Real Soviet cakes are still sold in the Central store, and they are made according to the preserved recipe! Among their signature confectionery desserts, I would single out Potato cake, a Basket with protein cream, Yumbik and the famous Dream cake, created according to a unique patented recipe. The dream is prepared in two versions: in the form of rolls and a traditional cake. I recommend trying the classic rectangular version: a delicate airy sponge cake with a layer of boiled condensed milk with walnuts and blue poppy seeds, and a light sticky cream on top.. Mmm... it's incredibly delicious! By the way, you can buy a whole Dream cake in the next department, and they fly apart instantly! This is the taste of childhood that we so often dream of) They also prepare their own unique masterpiece here - Oscar branded coffee. A thick, fluffy foam whipped with cream, protein and cognac is perfectly combined with rich black coffee. This drink will amaze even the most sophisticated gourmets! The audience here gathers the most diverse. The smells of juicy chebureks, fried pies, aromatic coffee and alcoholic beverages cover the entrance and fill the entire space. The bartender Alexander is helpful and attentive, serves quickly, clearly, easily. A "cleanliness fairy" works in the hall, which keenly monitors the order on the tables and the bar - everything is cleaned instantly and imperceptibly. If you want to be nostalgic, go here. There are very few places left with such a vivid history and an unusually warm atmosphere. Thanks to the owners of Central for saving this tiny fragment of the bygone Soviet era..

I was in Belarus for the first time this summer, I lived in the center of Minsk, went shopping, parks, restaurants, museums. I strongly advise against this place. They work for flow, not for quality. The cakes are tasteless (not sweet from the word at all). I took a sausage in the dough (I thought it was impossible to spoil it at all, but I was mistaken). The dough inside was raw, and the sausage had seen more in this life than I had. One star for milkshakes- they are not the worst here (but a lot also depends on the seller. Once they made stupid ice cream with a taste of ice cream, the second time it was already a good cocktail)

A visit to the cafeteria of the Tsentralny supermarket, where everyone's favorite Dream cake is sold. 17.01.2025 I visited a cafe and, unfortunately, was extremely disappointed. I ordered a Romantic cake and whipped cream with chocolate. First, I used the Romantic cake, then I opened the Cream whipped with chocolate, I was unpleasantly surprised and SHOCKED — the cream turned out to be not only with chocolate, BUT Also WITH MOLD. This not only spoiled the mood, but also caused serious concerns about the sanitary standards in the institution. Well, there is a pharmacy nearby, in order to avoid the consequences, I bought and drank a drug for poisoning. I recommend that everyone be vigilant and pay attention to the quality of the products, as such situations can lead to poisoning. I hope that the administration of the cafeteria of the Tsentralny supermarket will take measures to improve the quality and safety of food. BE CAREFUL AND CAREFUL!

About everything in order. I give 5 stars for the opportunity to return to my childhood, to our cafeteria, which was on the way from dentistry. In Omsk, the children's department was on the embankment and a couple of houses away there was a Novelty cafeteria with the most delicious Basket. So again, this is the taste of childhood- that little Basket, the feeling that the worst is over and in two hours there will be a new healthy life without caries :) but that's all multiplied by the metropolitan scale. Not everything was able to immerse you in exactly that atmosphere, but I won't shoot the star. If someone sees my review: please remove those creepy toy-pulling machines, it's terribly bad and inappropriate, the coffee shop itself: the entourage is... but it's like they didn't try to save it, but just didn't redo or repair anything. Well, it's blasphemy to do that to such a wonderful place. Anyway, thank you for the opportunity to be where I was carefree and certainly happy.
