Rooms were okay, reception staff cooperative. Food tasted good, but restaurant staff were not cooperative, probably due to language barrier, and also they were not trained to deal with dynamic changes in the situation. Often, the restaurant had no billing clerk. Waiters were not bothered to take accurate orders and avoided any eye contact or other forms of communication. Clear lacking of empathy felt by waiters and restaurant staff.

Лучший вариант в Гомеле! Останавливался в отеле «Турист» в составе взрослый, 2 детей, бабушка и дедушка (брали 2 номера) и ни разу не пожалели о выборе. В номерах чисто, уютно, есть всё необходимое. Плюс очень тихо, что для нас достаточно критично. Рядом остановка, кулинария, много магазинов. Но главное — это персонал. Отдельно хочу выразить благодарность Ангелине с ресепшн. Девушка — настоящий профессионал и просто луч света в этом отеле! С самого порога встретила приветливой улыбкой, хотя мы приехали достаточно поздно и очень уставшими. Ангелина быстро и чётко всё оформила, терпеливо ответила на кучу вопросов про Wi-Fi, завтраки и где можно перекусить рядом. Очень душевное отношение, в наше время это редкость! Соотношение цены и качества в «Туристе» отличное, Рекомендую!

A great, honest hotel for your money. If you just need a good night's sleep, a shower, and a hearty breakfast, take it without thinking. Several nights of stay left positive impressions, without complaints. There are no questions for the staff, well done, they work well together, the daily cleaning is regular. The reception staff is good at coordinating what and how… There is a place to eat, you can always buy coffee, and in the evening you can stop by the bar. Very convenient location. Gomel is as good as ever. I'll be back.
