One of the best Cornflowers, the reviews speak for themselves. We were in 8 different ones out of 12, this one is in the top three. We were on Saturday, there were a lot of people, we waited in line a little bit. The staff is responsive, they work quickly. 5++++ . Although the dishes don't change much over the years, something new has been added over the past 2 years, but that's exactly what they come here for. I don't know why Minsk residents almost all say: yes, they got these "Cornflowers"))), we really like it. There were some other establishments that positioned themselves as cafes with national dishes, but in terms of interior, quality and tastes of dishes, "Cornflowers", if not the best, then at a high level. For the second year in a row, we come to Minsk for the New Year holidays and visit one of the establishments of this chain ... we really liked the atmosphere and especially, of course, the cuisine! Just great for five points! I also really liked the drinks and especially their tinctures;) I only recommend booking a table in advance by phone, because otherwise you will have to stand in line for a long time, since the place is always full!

We visited this place on 06/01/24 because we wanted homemade food. Let's start with waiting at the doors: I understand that the capital, the city center, the weekend, but waiting near the entrance, if there are free tables, is a minus for the administrator.
They put me at a table next to the window where the waiters take orders, and this spoiled the impression by 50%. Here I would like to advise the administration to work with the staff: it is not very pleasant to listen to their discontents and various comments, given the external atmosphere of comfort.
We ordered solyanka, babka, sausages, kvass and mors. The hodgepodge is delicious, the sausages too, especially the blood pudding, it is clear that it is homemade, I can't say for sure about the rest. But the grandmother is a complete disappointment. I would like to ask the cook if he has ever eaten a real grandmother?! How can you spoil the potatoes?! And the most annoying thing is that they position themselves as a national cuisine! And people who have never tried it will think that this is IT! And where is the promised knuckle in the grandmother? I thought at first that I was mistaken, but there was an ordinary stew in it.
The mors and kvass are very tasty, well done here.
Although we ate repeatedly in the "Cornflowers", but it was in this place that we were for the first and last time. Either we were unlucky, or people have nothing else to compare with.

Delicious, a good range of dishes, fast and courteous service. But one thing: why are the second courses only with a fixed side dish? For example: Kiev cutlet only with mashed potatoes, and schnitzel - either with potatoes or with rice. And if such a side dish does not suit me, then I need to pay for a dish with a fixed side dish and order an additional one. Unclear.

Oh, Cornflowers. A wonderful chain of family restaurants in Minsk! This time it was possible to finish the review, but for such a good institution this is not enough! This was the first place that my girlfriend and I visited in Minsk! The first place where we ate so aggressively! I liked everything! The music is atmospheric, the interior is perfect for the concept of a family restaurant, the staff goes in folk costumes! We went to this institution to try the dishes of national cuisine and we did it! There are all famous representatives of this delicious potato cuisine! I have never eaten such pancakes as here, the frying pan with meat was VERY tasty! I ate two! Have you arrived in Minsk? Be sure to visit this place! Delicious drinks, although the restaurant is not specialized in coffee drinks, but I want to say that Bumble is better here than in 80% of other coffee shops in Minsk! The waiting time is slightly higher than we would like, approximately 20-30 minutes, but perhaps this was due to the large flow and the fact that the restaurant is located near the train station! And by the way, I'll attach a photo below with a view from the Cornflower, eating pancakes and looking at such beauty is great!

Folk cuisine restaurant - this is how it positions itself)
We were in Cornflowers in Vitebsk - there it is a separate place, more atmospheric. In the shopping center Gallery Minsk- Cornflowers is a food court.
But the food is just as delicious - we tried a lot of dishes there - borscht, solyanka, machanka, dumplings, zepelins, draniki, lard, etc., and a hop board😁
Everything is delicious. There are sooooo many people in the shopping center, the waiters are just fire! They have time and quickly and at the same time serve well and tell about the dishes and smile, in general, WELL DONE!
