We went to Belarus with my husband to celebrate my birthday. The mood was ruined immediately upon check-in at the Belarus Hotel. We travel a lot, but for the first time in the room there is no shower gel or shampoo in individual packaging, there are not even tea bags, only a cooler in the hallway, probably to drink boiling water when returning from a tour at nine in the evening. The refrigerator doesn't work at all, they asked to replace it at the reception, so they brought another one in which the ice cream melted after an hour of storage. The breakfasts are very good, the only thing that pleased me about this hotel. The room has separate beds, although it was indicated that a married couple was traveling. It is clear that there was no question of any Birthday greetings, although on our other trips the birthday boys were always congratulated with small compliments. I think the company wouldn't have gone bankrupt, but it's nice for a person. The tours are well organized, the guides are great.
