We visited this hotel in 2024, and some floors were still undergoing renovation work. We stayed in a double room after renovation and in a family room before renovation, visited a restaurant, and had a very pleasant impression of the hotel. In 2025, we returned to this hotel. We lived twice a week apart in family rooms on the 7th and 9th floors. Having checked into a room on the 6th floor late at night, we realized that we would not be able to sleep because of the very strong ventilation noise outside, which could be heard even with the windows closed. It turned out that several fans were working under the windows of the room on the roof of the cafe, and the noise, reflecting from the building of the department store, reached the 6th floor. In response to our complaints, the receptionist kindly offered to move to the floor above. There was a little less noise there. Curiously, the next night it was completely quiet, and we were even able to sleep with the window open, but in the morning the noise resumed. Maybe they just forgot to turn off the fan last night... We attended breakfasts in the restaurant for 25 bel.rubles per person. They noted that this year the staff is less efficient, does not monitor the availability of food and drinks. 45 minutes before the end of breakfast, more than half of the dishes were missing, all the coffee machines required maintenance, and there was not even water in the carafes. All the dishes and drinks appeared only after contacting the staff. I would like to note that the restaurant offers an inexpensive and quite tasty lunch and dinner. I recommend it if you do not want to look for establishments in the area, and if you find something for yourself, it will be 2-3 times more expensive there. We visited the SPA area. A good repair has been done, 2 saunas and a hammam, a swimming pool and a Jacuzzi have been made. In general, I liked it. We used the services of a travel agency. Zoya Anatolyevna, the tour guide, gave us an individual walking tour. We were very satisfied. In our opinion, this is the best hotel in the city with modern interiors and a great location. It's annoying that the human factor spoils the impression. However, despite this, I recommend this hotel for your stay!

We were passing through Vitebsk. When looking for a place to live, the choice fell on the Vitebsk Hotel, a suite. And so the room is two-room, but small. At the same time, there is even a small kitchen area with a microwave, kettle, coffee maker, and a normal refrigerator. We got a room on the 10th floor - the view is amazing! The lobby has panoramic windows overlooking the Western Dvina and the Assumption Church and Monastery. The room itself has a small glazed balcony, modern renovation, a double sofa in one room and a large bed in the other. When registering, they paid extra for breakfast - it takes place in a cafe on the 2nd floor using the buffet system. The food is for every taste, the waiters quickly bring what they have finished. The hotel is popular with tourist groups, and buses were parked in the parking lot. Good location, crossed the road and enjoy a walk with many historical and other locations. For a fee, guests can visit the Spa, gym or play billiards at the hotel. I definitely recommend this hotel.

The worst hotel. It is located in the center of Vitebsk. There is a cafe and a restaurant. We traveled around Belarus by car and stayed at this hotel for one night. We had dinner at a restaurant. And in the evening we walked to places near the hotel along the embankment. Very beautiful places. Across the street is a square with a fountain with a backlight that shimmers with all colors. There are many beautiful temples nearby, and a monument to Alexander Nevsky with his wife, Aleusandra, and son, Vasil. I really wanted to see the monument to Old Man Khotabych (the writer Lazar Lagin lived and wrote his fairy tale in Vitebsk), to see the memorial to Marc Chagall (about 1.2 km from the hotel to the monument). Next to the hotel there is Pushkin Square, Pushkin Square and the monument to Alexander Pushkin (Pushkin was twice passing through Vitebsk. In general, I liked the hotel for its location. It was a little uncomfortable from the poor sound insulation (the neighbor behind the wall was hopping all night and it felt like the three of us were in the room). But since we only spent one night, this is not a reason not to stay at the Vitebsk Hotel next time.
