I was there back in 1986-1989. I liked everything. Especially the old town and the maiden tower. There is also a funicular for 5 kopecks, but I understand that it is no longer there. The salt lakes and the sea are just fine. In the markets, you could just eat by trying the products. The ratio was five. I don't even know how it is now.

The Maiden Tower is one of the main symbols of Baku. It is located near the Old Town and baths, opposite Primorsky Boulevard. As usual, a legend is connected with her about a girl who fell from a Tower, since her father wanted to marry her to an unloved person. You can climb up, but we didn't go up.
