Shame on the Marriott network! Stayed for 3 days 1 adult + 6 years old. First: when booking with a child, you will pay about $ 200 more than for two adults. Why this is so remains to be guessed. Second: they settled us in a cage without a balcony with windows on the technical corridor on the first floor. This is worse than the Pitersky well. There is no light at all. The room itself is 3 stars for the quality of materials. I was surprised that there is such a thing in a 5* hotel at all. I had such a shock that I couldn't recover for a day. The next morning, after a conversation at the reception, we were moved. Before that, however, they persistently offered to upgrade the room for an additional fee. The new room was on the second floor with a balcony on the hill from which there was either cat urine or bird droppings. In principle, this smell is often felt on the territory of the hotel. But at least it was bright and I didn't want to spoil my rest any further. Food: a terrible meager breakfast with an inedible omelet and porridge. A minimum of fruit, cheap cuts. You can only eat pastries. The 3-star hotel's breakfast unexpectedly pleased the Italian restaurant on site. Traditional Italian dishes are made well and with quality ingredients. However, there is also a characteristic nuance - the simplest is included in the NV. From fish, for example pangasius... how do you like this in the top five is not cheap??? I looked at the menu of their other grill restaurant - there is a crown dish - chicken. It's not bad either, right?
We went to a Mediterranean restaurant, where we were actively invited for lunch. They specified the room number, and then suddenly announced that it was closed for special maintenance. 5 tables were occupied. That is, if you want to have dinner, go to an open restaurant.
There are no questions for the waiter. All well done.
Beach: the beach is large, the sand is pleasant, the buoys are very close. The water is greenish and cloudy, but it's like this everywhere. Not the ocean. There are fish)
In general, there was an impression that on the site of an old hotel from several two-story buildings, a new one was built, putting 2 towers,.t.k. the place is good.
My opinion is that the hotel is not worth the $712 paid for three days. This is a maximum of 4 stars with a stretch. Especially for the Emirates. Gilding and marble floors in the lobby do not interest me. It is important to me where I live directly.
Of the relative advantages - a children's slide, which really smells extremely unpleasant. Beach with good sand and entrance to the water, Italian restaurant.
